You don't need to Hold the sprint button on the music runs! Just Press it once to start, as it tells you. 😉 Also, there is an option in Settings to simplify the music runs so you only need to press one button on the jumping markers. ☺️
Some Irish friends introduced me to Talisk a while back so I had to play it when I heard them on the trailer. Being from Liverpool, I have some Irish heritage so always like to learn about Gaelic culture and I’m also a huge Frightened Rabbit fan so a lot of the poetry felt familiar playing through the game. Great review! 4:39
Ooooh, I loved the look of this when it first appeared! SO glad it turned out to be a worth while wait! Definetly going on the wish list; it already feels like something I'll look back on fondly years after its release
This is also a game that gets better on replay! Maps and items carry over run to run, and more and more shortcuts and routes open up on repeated playthroughs! Highly recommend
Thanks for the review. I just got a notification that it was 10% off on Steam and forgot I had it in my wishlist but I'm glad I did. Will make myself a big pan of soup & go enjoy this at a semi-quiet pace. (P.s. Even as a non-gaelic, Irish or Scottish person I got a smile from ear to ear by just hearing the soundtrack already). ☺
A little off topic, but can anyone tell me what that freeclimbing game that was reviewed by this channel was a couple months ago? I cant remember what it was called for the life of me and now feel like I've gaslighted myself.

Glad this is the top comment. Am about to buy this game but was perplexed at the idea of holding b and pressing x (Switch layout) at the same time!
Nice to see Scotland getting representation.

Yes looks superb, thanks for reviewing.
Inkle make some of my favourite games. Glad to see this one looks as good as the others!
As a Celtic cousin from Brittany, I'll try this game
Do you visit Loch Lomond in this game? If so, does it feature the song Loch Lomond?
