Just love everything they have released and had the chance to buy. It's definitely one of my favorites distilleries period. Hoping to take a trip to Chattanooga to be able to taste the experimental stuff they just have the distillery. Great review as always Fred and thank you for mentioning how important they are to the craft game. Cheers!🤙
Was lucky enough to be in Chattanooga when they released this at the distillery. Picked up this bottle and the port finish. Two great bottles, great review/history.
Lucky to live in TN and picked up a bottle of Chatt BiB the first week it went on sale. Phenomenal stuff. They’re on the cutting edge of craft distilling right now and innovating more than almost anybody. I love it.
Look forward to trying this. Look online and said "coming soon." Have you reviewed Leipers Fork Tennessee Whiskey Bottled in Bond? My wife and I will be visiting grandkids in Oct in Franklin and will have to visit the distillary. The two seem very similiar?
I really love their 111. Obviously the BiB is a little older but also lower proof and pretty much the same price (I paid $47 and 48 for my last two 111 bottles). So why buy the BiB at 11 lower proof? Is the mash bill the same? These guys are def on my need to visit list.
Fred, have you had the chance to try any Lone Elm single barrel straight wheat whiskey out of Forney, Texas? Would love to see you do a review of this whiskey. I know you love journeyman wheat whiskey and this straight up blows it out of the water in the wheat whiskey category
Wanted to see what you had to say. I just picked this up today at a total wine. Funny enough, they needed to grab a box as the shelves were out and while I was waiting I helped them sell 3 higher priced bourbon bottles.
I almost bought this bottle last night but I settled on a bottle on Woodford Reserves Wheated Bourbon. Maybe next week I'll give this one a try. I've heard some rave reviews on this one and been wanting to try it for a while. With the Fred Minnick seal of approval it's a must try now. Cheers!
It’s funkier than the 111 but I mean that in a very good way. The 111 is more traditional and bourbon-y and the BiB has crazy fruitiness and even a little smoke along with the malty creaminess. It’s great stuff.
Really glad you enjoyed this bourbon, but my goodness it definitely wasn’t meant for me. Thankfully I was able to sample it first. The finish you were so fond of is what really killed it for me. I could smell it right away, and was really unappetizing. Are there other bourbons with that same profile so I know what to avoid?
Chattanooga knows what they are doing over there.....wasn't a huge fan of the 111 but I love the rye and the port is the best I've tasted with that finish.....definitely want a bib now, you haven't steered me wrong yet.....nice review!
Great whiskey by great people! Before COVID they were doing these amazing cocktail classes at the distillery I hope they resume. Did an entire TIKI class using their whiskey--would you believe a "Rye-Tai"? Yep. Amazing!

I just picked a bottle of the cask strength 111. And it is one of the best tasting bourbons I have had so far. Blown away by it and a great value
Its about time, that Chattanooga distillery released a bottle in bond. Now, question is, when are they gonna do a tennessee whiskey.

One of my favorite bottles. I'll be sad when it's gone but I'll be grabbing all their BiB in the future as they plan to do spring and fall releases
i had the 91 not the BiB, and what I tasted was cinnamon. It was good, but very different, and not a daily drinker for me

chat bourbon appeals to highland scotch lovers
I just picked a backup bottle today. I was wondering if it was going to happen. Seems like they are pretty limited so far.
Good review Fred. I grew up not far from there and glad they have a quality product. It is a great pour and I hope they continue with much success.
Need to find one, I keep seeing reviews, all are good. Cheers!!
Picked it up yesterday. It's really really good.

And the whiskey is very good
I absolutely love the Cask 111. How does the BiB compare?

A little history on the distillery and awesome whiskey review…great channel! Thank you Fred!
i appreciate that. :)
Just there yesterday. 157 !!! Mmmm mmmm
I got one bottle and my store can’t get anymore. I’m hanging on to it for a treat.
Had the BIB in a blind fight. IT was REALLY bad. Glad i didnt pay for it.

Great review Fred! Would love to see this in 🇨🇦. If anyone can make it happen you can!! 😁
This is REALLY delicious. But don’t make it to popular Fred, I can still find it!! Lol!!
hahaha. I will try to keep under radar. lol

Hope their distribution makes it up to Buffalo here, been wanting to try their stuff

Great up and coming distiller. Everything they put out is very tasty. Maybe they can share some notes to dickel hehe
