I just found couple of bottles here in Sachse, TX. They were the last ones. A bit more than $50 here. But still worth the money. I really enjoy the flavor profile of this whiskey. I open one bottle and added one to my collection. By the way great video.
Some russell's reserve store picks have them, Sam Houston 15 KY01, Elijah Craig barrel proof B520, old Carter bourbons, sometimes the high age high proof dickel 15s have it, colonel taylor single barrel and old fitz bottles in bond 13 years and older.
I purchased the Port finished based off of your review, and I found it kicked the sh*t out if Angels Envy. Absolutely fantastic. I’ll pick this up if I see it. Thanks Jason.
@@jackrodosta7971 jack, if you just got into bourbon you will continue to love Angels Envy. AE is so easy to drink and doesn’t pack the full punch of flavor that so many need time to appreciate. Keep enjoying Angels and try some higher proof stuff to expand your palate.
@@beginningbourbon7385 I've got a bottle of Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style and though I like the flavor I think my palette is not yet ready for 115 proof. The Woodfords Reserve Double Oak is about as high of proof as I like right now.
@@jackrodosta7971 Whenever I hear people say they don't like high proof but like the flavor I wonder why they don't add a little water and put it at the proof they prefer. Whenever you drink something lower than what it came out of the bottle it's because someone added water to it.
Thanks for another great review! Also a big thanks for being the one to first get me into Chattanooga Whiskey (as a born and raised East Tennessean, I'm glad you did). I appreciate the interesting things they are doing, and now always check the local liquor stores for new releases whenever I go home to visit my family; just picked up this BiB on my most recent trip. Have you ever tried their single barrels? I would be curious to hear your take on the single barrel expression vs. their standard TN High Malt or 111 Cask.
I just picked one up in Chattanooga. First pour very unique and interesting… can’t wait to get into the bottle more. Good review!! 👍🏼. Happy 4th of July!!
Hey Jason. Have you been able to try Wyoming Whiskey Barrel Strength Bourbon yet in your area? I recently got to try their regular Wyoming Whiskey at 88 proof and was amazed how much I like it. I figure the Barrel Strength should be killer. Would love to hear your review on Wyoming if it makes its way up to you. BTW, life long Mets fan here since the days of Ed Kranepool!
Great review Jason! Seelbach’s doesn’t deliver to MA. Any other recommendations on where to buy or how I may be able to get Chattanooga? I have not seen it in MA anywhere
Solid review and cool that you got that tasting kit for the blend. Would love to find that somehow. Looking forward to picking this one up. Cheers, Jason!
This channel can be hard on my wallet. Just picked up a bottle of Wellers Special Reserve, Larceny and Bulleit. Trying to expand my pallet beyond Crown Royal.
This distillery (and wilderness trail) is at the top of my list for when I can travel across the border again. I need that 111. Thanks J! Is there a friendly competition among you WhiskyTubers to break these new bottles first?
Maybe but I think it's at the point now where everyone has who they like to watch so whenever the review pops up views are good. Some bottles may have that effect though more than others.
Nice break down Jason, thanks. Very curious to try it. Not sure if it warrants $50 but since I love the 111, and the mash bill transparency, I might grab one (next time in Florida : )
As of right now all Chattanooga whiskies are just not showing themselves here in western WI. Can't wait to try it though after all the reviews that you've made for it. Your reviews are quite honestly spot on and I appreciate the honesty in your admiration for good whisky. Cheers!
This one is a grower for me. Those earthy and chocolate notes start to present with more air. Also, I’d love to be proven wrong on this, but I feel like they are approaching diminishing returns with the age on this one. I think their style is well-suited in that 2-4 year range.
Okay Jason, what are some of your favorite Bourbons with butterscotch and butter pecan notes? Just getting into Bourbons and developing my palette. Thanks for another awesome video 👍👍👍
Finally got my hands on it. Lot's of honey! I liked it a lot and happy I got it. I followed it up w/ their Port Cask, then the Rye. Love their stuff. BTW, I don't think I've seen a review from you for their rye. Hopefully you get a chance to try it. Cheers!
Great review Jason! I’d just heard this was coming out and now I’m even more excited. Chattanooga can do no wrong by me… love the 111, Rye and Port finish.
Will definitely have my eyes peeled for this one, so far I have enjoyed everything that I have had from Chattanooga Whiskey. They are unique yet very tasty as well. I especially like the rye, and would love to see them come out with a higher proof version of it.
Just ordered mine through Seelbachs two days ago. Can't wait to try it. Chattanooga is definitely one of my favorites distilleries period. Great review Jason! Cheers a a Happy 4th!🤙
Man you already have it, im super jealous of that bottle!! I want one 😫 i just pulled in a bottle of the port finish and its worth the wait in my opinion haha.
Huge fan of the 111, it's been readily available for me. I paid 47 & 48 for my last two. Hard to pay more for less proof but I would grab one just to try it. But that 111 is so damn good!
Had some while out in Tennessee. Got back to New York, didn’t see it anywhere. Contacted their customer rep who informed that they don’t offer it in New York. Can’t even ship to New York. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Just found the 111 in my town in Mississippi - very good. I've only seen the 91 until I finally found the 111. Sipping on it now!

Already off the shelves in FL
Which experimental single bottle is that back there and what did you think of it?
Grabbed it today, solid...can taste the age versus the 111...more refined with less bite

Chattanooga is doing some great things. I usually have a bottle of 111 on hand. Will definitely look out for this.
