Everyone is talking about how beast within should've hit impact tremors, but later in the game mystic confluence could've bounced kodama! That would've at least bought them a good amount of time
Always remove Kodama very quickly! I've both abused him to great effect and lost because of him in spectacular fashion. #DontLetKodamaStick
At the time, I was thinking that I don't mind our life totals going down as long as I could close it out later on with my damage. You can see how this worked out for me.

Mystic Confluence play is a good example why holding grudges in a commander game often leads to both people losing. That was a solid punt.

Should have killed impact tremors with beast within. Felt like everyone ignored the ridiculous stuff Craig was doing.
When Zacama, Primal Calamity enters the battlefield, if you cast it, untap all lands you control.
I felt the same; for some reason Craig had free rein to do everything he wanted. Idk why the other three didn't treat him like the biggest threat when the game winning combo was face up for several turns.
@@AxillaryPower2 That's the saltyness effect of a Cyclonic rift overloaded. People don't care anymore about the real threats, it all about archnemesis the cyclonic user.
@@ODIRGO I was about to say. Manson and Jake had a blood feud going on then Ashlen attacked Manson for the cyc rift. Manson taking out Jake with him on the way out was funny though.

Why did jake target Manson so bad, craig had his whole engine online and nobody was really doing anything about it
because he took his 5 cards and used beast with in poorly (targeting him)
Idk seems like a poor judgment call to me but I’ve also never played with the audience that they have so I’m sure the pressure just got to him and misplays happen

They knew big part of craig's hand after all ('cuz of the cyclonic rift)... but I can understand saltyness can sometimes make us ignore the real threat.
Craig played some wholesome Magic. It was adorable and cathartic to watch. The blood feud was the main thing that got them, IMO.
I was half-expecting Craig to animate Impact Tremors just so he can give it infect.
How would you do that?

I love that ashlyns deck was able to go off before the ending! It's such a fun deck
My friends would be so annoyed with the sac and crack turns of my Atla deck, so I bought a bunch of plastic easter eggs to use as tokens. When it would be time to crack one, I'd let them smash it. It made my turns much more fun to interact with and helped them not hate it when it gets going lol.
She could of won too because she missed the ETB trigger of zacama unlike her eldrazi it wasnt a cast trigger to untap all her lands but but an enter the battlefeild. Im annoyed cause she shouldnt of lost.
@@CrypticBore I think she purposely didn't kill Impact Tremors bc she was trying to get some big swingers out with the eggs instead. It was 3 mana to kill that or 3 mana to make an egg and try to kill him. Either way he won with sheer numbers so it was a hail mary

@@Joshbobjovi it wasnt though she missed a whole trigger that untapped all her lands which she could of used to cast shit get even more attackers out. Or ping all of the creatures with zacama. There was so much more that could of happened
Ashlen really should have swung hard on Craig. He was building a way better engine to rock the table. Manson was not a threat. Y’all were just salty lol
Hitting the player with a Bolas's Citadel so they have less life to work with is NOT a wrong decision.
The Karma of manson drawing cards to take them with him was heartwarming.

Ashlen Rose has a nasty habit of throwing these games. I never liked her, but I respected her…..until Time Spiral Game Knights. She threw that game from turn 1. Every move was thoughtless.

Xyris is one of my favorite commanders. Not answering the impact tremors is huge, that card does work.
Such a strange game. Craig showed he had all his synergy pieces... but no one (directly) tried to hinder him. Beast Within, Mystic Confluence, and the single target Rift all went to targets that were... fine, but far from ideal for the game let alone for the casters.

When I cast just a single of my synergy pieces, my friends immediately go "do you go infinite with that? better kill it just in case". I have no clue how other players manage to fly under the radar like that.
Everyone roasting the beast within targeting but like u try staring down three vial smashers.. esp if u just got domed for 12 like there *might* have been a better target on board but none of u wld be that objective in that situation

Not a fan of "Kickstarter" being used by established companies. It's one thing if it was a purely Command zone product. But with ultrapro behind it I am not into it.
Kickstarter should also be used to raise money for whatever they're making. The more backers the more they can make. If they already made them and have a limited supply your not backing anything, at this point your just using Kickstarter as a marketplace. Just sell the limited quantity from Ultra Pro directly.

The entire board game industry has been doing this with Kickstarter for years now. It really sucks but it’s mostly a preordering system now.
@@TheDestroya88 I can understand using Kickstarter as a true preorder system for companies to know how many copies they need to produce. it allows them to make more games that might have smaller audiences without having to risk over producing, and losing money on unsold copies. I think that is good for a lot of reasons.
Using Kickstarter as a storefront to sell a limited number of already produced items is not what it is for, at all.

Great to see Mr Infect back at the table playing infect. Loved the power levels of these decks a lot of synergy and some great gameplay.
God I love the 'I told you to buy singles line' so much, my mtg group has been using it constantly.

Have you got a list? I was thinking Delve w/ self mill and things w/ Evoke or free spells like Submerge. Feels like there are a ton of ways to build it wrongly.

I'm so happy to finally see xyris, he is my favorite deck. I built it with haste enablers, mass draw, cryptolith rite, and big x spells. It just turn into an ever-growing swarm of snakes that I tap for mana to make even more snakes, and finish the game with spells like might of the masses and massive raid. Such a fun deck to play and I'm so happy to see him in extra turns. Great stuff guys!

Why did Jake play a land before citadel? Such a mistake
He was probably thinking too hard about needing to play it or it'd be exiled for good.
yep, rookie mistake!
Most likely tunnel-visioned with the Jeskia's Will but there's the possibility that he wanted to hold up Arcane Denial while the citadel was in play. I think the real mistake was not using the Phyrexian Metamorph to copy the Solemn Simulacrum to get a shuffle effect. Copying Mulldrifter would have done it too.
Mental note: do NOT use Villainous Wealth on Jake. Ever.

Some cool stuff, I always feel myself being drawn to Manson and his choices, they always end up very interesting and different from what you would expect like countering the spell with mana drain to generate a ritual like effect. Very interesting and smart plays I feel always from Manson.

These kinds of videos are great. As someone who is trying to learn the "metagame" in commander, if that's even an appropriate way to put it, these videos take something really complex and make it really easy to follow. I just subbed. :)
Once again, Xyris's ability to brush off edict effects comes in clutch. I loved playing that deck. It went fast and won games.

This isn't a complaint but at this point extra turns is what game knights was three years ago.
And quickly becoming into Game Knights with more and more ads... I guess they eventually will have to launch another show with less publicity than the ones before.
@@ODIRGO yeah, extra turns was originally a quicker more game focused style of content. Now its like a TV show just like game knights.
Poor Manson, playing the most Timmy deck(also the most interesting/original) but gets targeted for no reason.
People tend to get pretty salty for a single Cyclonic rift. At least I'm happy he decided to king make Craig at the end in return for the treatment the other 2 players gave him.
@@ODIRGO Karmic retribution aside, digging for an answer to Impact Temors was the right call. If he pulled a naturalize effect, he could have nuked it before the tokens landed and survived another round.

Ashlen has way too many non-threatening creatures in her deck. Also she should've just used Zacama to blow up the Impact Tremors.
Lol she still would have died, but yeah the amout of cast triggers in her deck didnt make much sense
by the time she got Zacama on the field, it was kind of worthless, Craig just needed to alfa strike her to win. But I do agree that people should have paid more atention to Craig's field instead of focusing on Mason, and mason could have used that beast withing to destroy something else (like tremors) too.

At this point Im convinced that either craig intimidates other players or beating him risks him throwing a tantrum or something? Most with him are 3 other people beating on each other for no reason while they just wait for him to win. Its absurd.
Its just a game, I dont mean anything negative to craig. But once again he was obviously the biggest threat at the table yet no one even attacks him.

No. Even if a player dies on their turn, the rest of the turn will still progress like normal (just without an active player). The triggers from Xyris are already on the stack (since he was casting draw spells in response to the Xyris triggers), and will still resolve, even though Manson loses the game with those triggers on the stack.

Yeah, typically i love these extra turns games, but between ashlen playing a repeat deck with the same tired theme, and her and jake salt slamming manson for no reason, it just seemed bad.

Funny how 'cast' reads 'enters the battle field' on Zacama
That way you don't get the effect of Zacama gets countered, or if there's a silence effect on etbs
@@caseywellington4761 Additionally, it means that you don't get the effect before Zacama resolves so you can do some supreme bullshit like copy him or something of the sort. Just thought I'd add that bit in addition to the counter interaction.
What are you referring to? There was no misplay with Zacama this game.
