i think its a like a centering or grounding sort of deal. like a mental reset. by pressing it, he is signalling to his brain like "ok its time to work" sorta thing.
problem with QC is not being able to set up a good config, set different sens for each weapon etc. so stupid they took 10 steps back with a game that's supposed to be better
@@use0fweapons nope doesn't effect it in the slightest, my ql config had different sens per gun and different cross hair for each weapon. You are not changing to much in terms of sensitivity, but how I had it, rj sg was very loose LG rg was aliitle tighter

Why does he shift 2 or 3 times after he respawns? He does this in duels too.
Probably just his respawn button is bounded to crouch

Respawn is spacebar and he has crouch on spacebar for easy slash/strogg movement

I love QC, but to not give players a console for a Quake game is crazy.
wouldnt different sens per weapon mess with strafe jumping? seems like it could get wildly inconsistent VERY fast
