I also used to be a Democrat. I feel like this party treats its constituents like morons and just gaslights the entire country all of the time. I don't find the Republicans much better though. Hillary was under investigation and cooperated -- found not to have done anything criminal. Biden is actually still under investigation, but reportedly turned all documents over when he realized he had them. He didn't hide them, or lie about them -- or later get caught hiding them when a search warrant was served.
Do you want to know why or is that rhetorical? The would not have gone after Trump if he had not initially refused and strung NARA along for months. Then the subpoenaed him to return the documents..he stalled. Then he had an attorney say he gave them back all of the documents (when NARA knew he didn’t). So all of that wrangling is an obstruction of justice. When they seized the documents…trump even moved them knowing he was hiding them….That’s why they went after him. He should have just comply. Trump himself said he knew NARA wanted them but he was going to keep some.
OH they didn’t go after Biden, Hillary nor Pence because the gave the documents back…without asking.
It is amazing that Wray does not know anything that is happenig in the fbi.
