ماشاء الله تبارك الله كل شيء رائع 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Очень красиво.
l love it
This is beautiful, how far in advance can you add the rice papers sails, would they become soft and lose their shape when touching the buttercream for few hours? Can I do the design from the night before?
If they are left at room temp for too long they could get a little soft. If a finished cake is left in the fridge until maybe an hour before serving, you could put them on the day before.
This is so beautiful Mary! Question, after the sails are attached to the cake, can you put the cakes in the refrigerator or will the sails discenigrate with any moisture due to change of temperature 🌡🤔
Will definitely give this technique a go! Thank you always for your wonderful videos. ❤ You always explain things so well. 😊🥰💕
Thank you;) you are very sweet;) I actually put the cake in the fridge after ai was done with the video and they were fine a couple days later. My fridge is very dry though, so I would make a test run first if you can. Make a couple and just place them in the fridge alone to see how it goes. I don't want to say definitively yes just because every fridge and environment is different.
Thank you so much Mary! Have a Sweet Blessed Day! 😊💕
Any time!
Hiiii am from kerala. I loved ur presentation and hard working to make beautiful outputs.. am a small cake baker. I have no idea about decorating cakes.. after watching this video i got confidence to try.. can u please tell which liquid is using for making fish.. chocolate ganache or cream? And one more doubt we are using whipping cream mostly.can i make this design over the whipped cake.
HI! And welcome! I used candy melts for the tails but you could use chocolate as well. I honestly don't know if the sails would stick to whipping cream since I don't use it for tiered cakes:( I am sorry I don't have a better answer for you:( I would guess if you put a dab of it on the back of the sails and then start from the bottom and work your way up, that would be your best bet.
Hi how dis you attach the wood stick to the rice sail. I have lots of problems putting a cake on top of the other. What type of frosting you use that look when you refrigerate can touch it like that on your cakes 😱. My recipe doesn’t get hard in the fridge like that. I leave dents and mark when I touch it. Great video you are explain everything with lot of details. Thank you so much
Thanks! I just wrap the stick with the end of the sail. When it is wet it is sticky. Then let it dry. I use a crusting American Buttercream. Have you tried putting it in the freezer for about 10 minutes before stacking? I do have a tutorial on how I make my buttercream. I would attach a link for you, but I at work;) Of you scroll down my videos you should see it there;)
Absolutely amazing! That came out so nice. Can you tell me what gold do you use? Thanks
Thanks 😊 HomeHere Gold Luster Dust Edible Cake Gold Dust, Gold, 7 Grams
This is a good one;)
@@sophisticakesbymary It really is. This is very creative and original. I love how you was very transparent in that you showed your "mistakes" and that you had to rearrange things to suit the moment. Which is what we decorators REALLY do! I really love your voice overs. I suck at voiceovers. I'm trying though...Guess that counts..maybe
@@sophisticakesbymary Thank you.
@@TheFancyCakery I am not comfortable doing the voice-over either
I guess I just let it roll and whatever comes out, comes out! I feel like your audience would rather hear the real you, you know? I know some creators write it all out ahead of time with time markers so they are prepared, but that takes too long for me;) You do a great job with your videos😉
thanks for your explanations, I would like to know what do I use to apply the rice paper sails on cakes covered with fondant ?
I just use piping gel;) but you can use a little buttercream too
@@sophisticakesbymary thanks Mary for your reply. I will do that.
Hi! I was wondering, the rice paper once you dry it and coloured it, how much time can it be stored? I wanted to do it a week before but I don't know how if it is ok. And how to store it, in plastic recipient room temperature? Thank you so much for any help
If you store it in a cool, dry place in a covered container, you should be good!
No board under the top tear?
Oh yes always a board under the cakes:) I must not have shown that this time:)
what kind of CAKE do you use??
👍🇲🇦🇲🇦
I just tossed all of what I made in the trash as it all got stuck to the parchment paper.
