Saludos ,gracias por compartir tu hermoso talento, Dios te bendiga, saludos desde Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 ❤ ❤
Have you ever thought of using these if they were real sails... like on a sailboat from r a cake? It’s what I was looking for, but this would also be fantastic representing waves or the wake of the boat sailboats.
You’re very talented ⛵️
That would be cool!
So pretty :)
Thank you!
Perfecto ❤️❤️
Wonderful tutorial!❤
Thank you! 😊
Excellent tutorial!!
Thank you!
Que liiindo!!!! 👏👏😍😍
MERCI beaucoup pour la vidéo, est que je pour avoir les nom du produits. Svp MERCI d'avance
HI! These are amazing! Have you ever tried putting sugar in the water so the sails are sweet to eat?
Hi Dawn! I have not actually tried to make them sweet. That’s a cool idea though. They’re “edible” but no one here actually ends up eating them. I do love sugar art though and you can pull and mold that into many different shapes to make lollipop toppers that look like stained glass.
Came out beautiful. Tfs. New sub and like.
Thanks! It’s a fun technique to use!
Very beautiful ♡♡
Thank you!
I live in south texas... so we have very hot humid temperatures. Would this affect sail?
Would placing these on crusting buttercream, ermine buttercream, or Italian meringue cause it to wilt?
Sorry for all the questions I'm new at baking but love to try new things. Love ur videos by the way, very informative ❤
I only put mine on right before the event so that they don’t absorb the moisture and start to wilt. I can make them well ahead of time and then just store them in a Tupperware box until I’m ready to use them.
Thanks i can do that..
Great!
Con que esta decorada la torta , tamboen esta hermosa y le queda bellisimo esa decoracion
Thanks! I used a buttercream marbeling technique like the one I used in this video: ruclips.net/video/8Y-SS6a5T18/видео.htmlsi=nfzi3KAlrVtYlLrE
Thanks a lot for your tutorial, any tip on how to apply sails on fondant covered cakes ( specific cake sides ) ? please
You’re welcome! I actually only cover my cakes with buttercream. I would think as long as you use the lollipop sticks to anchor them to the side of the cake they should be fine because they’re fairly light weight.
@@IcingOnTopBeckysCakes thanks a lot for your reply Becky. I think this is the best way to avoid sails from falling.
Boa noite alguém pode me falar o q ela tem nesse spray obrigada
Very nice thank you. How long do you have to leave it to dry and remove it
I let mine dry overnight. It really depends on how humid it is because you want them completely dry.
So nice. How many days I can do it before? Can I make it on monday and the cake on thuseday?
They last a long time once dried. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen them lose their shape unless they’re introduced to moisture
Nice
Thank you!
Woow ... unbelievable...you open my mind, thankyou so much 🙏 is it edible? Can eat?
It is edible but it doesn’t taste like much. Just rice paper 😊
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Please how long can it last?
As long as they’re kept dry they can last indefinitely
can we put the decorated cake in the fridge afterwards? or will the sails get soft?
I usually just put the sails in the day of to be in the safe side.
@@IcingOnTopBeckysCakes
How many days in advance can u make these sails?
How would you store them?
@@dcordero1984 I just just look at the expiration date on the package itself and use them before that. These will keep their shape after making them as long as you don’t get them wet again.
You can put it in the fridge. Sails stays hard. Tried and tested. 😊
👍
Can we put the sails in fridge? Will it soft?
I usually just put it on right before the party and don’t store it in the fridge. I would assume it may get some what soft if exposed to moisture too long
Como coloca o palito
Can I store the ready cake with the sails on it in the fridge?
I haven’t tested that. I know that it could go soft again when exposed to moisture for too long. I place mine on the cake a few hours before the party.
@@IcingOnTopBeckysCakes thank you!
Is the water warm, cold or room temp
It’s just cold water. Room temperature would be fine as well.
@@IcingOnTopBeckysCakes thanx
Was these harden room temp, oven, fridge or freezer?
Room temperature. Why they dry they harden. Easiest to just leave them out over night.
Is it to use cold water or Luke warm
Room temperature
Please, how long in advance I can make them, before to make the cake? How long last?
As long as you keep them dry, they should last indefinitely
Thank you SO MUCH!@@IcingOnTopBeckysCakes
Rice paper milega kaha se
Amazon
So you dip rice paper in the water?
I place it in a bowl of water until it’s soaking and then pull it out and arrange it in the position that I want it to dry in
Lindo
Hey what is a good alternative for the silicone sheet?
Wax or parchment paper
How did you dry it mam...?
You leave it to air dry overnight
This is indeed a very show video
Where can I find these paper?
You can find them in a grocery store or here on Amazon amzn.to/3p6sEzH
Americolor get food coloring Electric Blue, Royal Blue, & Sky Blue: amzn.to/362F9Vx
Is this Edible?
Yes, it’s edible. It’s just rice paper that you would use when making a spring roll. It won’t taste great by itself but it’s edible.
Whoooooooah
please we connect and i get that rice paper in uganda
This is where I buy it from on Amazon. I’m not sure if they ship to Uganda or not but if they don’t, perhaps you’d be able to find something similar to this near you.

Tedious and slow video. Left half way through.
Too much talking gosh 😅😅😅😅
