Nice video but i have to disagree with the melatonin one.Taking melatonin supliments does not build tolerance or stop natural production and most certainly does not lower testosterone. If taken in normal doses its free of side effects. The only problem of melatonin is the synthetic version can cause groggines especially in doses higher than 3 mg but you can avoid these by chosing supliments containing tart cherry as it provides a natural source of melatonin.
It's the lack of long term studies that worries me. If you feel it is safe for you, go for it. Something to consider is that it's merely a crutch, not a solution. Your inability to sleep is a result of your lifestyle, not the lack of a supplement.
@@speedyfernandez-it9tu depends on the dose but normally for 1 - 3 mg it shouldnt cause tolerence. But again not being able to fall asleep without them doesnt mean you build tolerance, if for example you nedded to up your dose after some time for it to have the same effect than you could say it built tolerence, and also my opinion is that melatonin should be used to reset your circadiam rythm not every day for long periods
It doesn't stunt growth, it affects sleep quality over time. You build up a dependency (due to consistent usage and high doses), and your sleep quality deteriorates over time. Reduced sleep quality = stunted growth
im 14 and ive been taking 1-3 mg of melatoning for the past 6 months, now i read online and noticed that it could stunt growth by messing up hormones. whats your take on that
Yes. It's a juggling act between insulin, growth hormone, and igf-1. Insulin does help the liver produce more igf-1, but it also inhibits hgh. Best advice: eat complex carbs over simple carbs. Aim for right after a workout, and never right before bed.
Lol you are 100% correct. This was one of my first vids so I apologize-- most green teas have caffeine, stay away b4 bed. Edit: I had previously included it bc you can actually buy a decaffeinated green tea, and the L-theanine within helps relieve stress and excitement, putting you in a calm state
Depleting my insulin levels to 0 for maximum sleep quality 😴
dis man knows the way 🗣🔥
Is there any supplements that arent melatonin that youd recommend for teenagers
Gaba is relatively safe. But don't use it every day, try it intermittently when you need it
Thanks

It definitely builds a tolerance, at least for me. Took them for a long time and could not fall asleep without taking them

I avoid melatonin, since there's mixed research on long term effects. I think it's safe if you take it every other day for 2-4 years, and in low doses

Won’t insulin spike igf-1 also?

But green tea has caffeine

Can I take creatine bro?
Creatine is amazing (for body building and for height). I try to take 5 g every day
