Hi, thanks for sharing. I experienced exactly like yours in 2015: active in sports, sudden attack, had no idea what's going on (the doctors got no idea too that time), had several diagnose until 5 years later they decided it's Transverse Myelitis (which was too late, sadly), even that part become academically minded too lol (I started love learning smh). I'm Asian, clueless of how my future will be, and I agree with you that stay positive is the best therapy. I always told myself to do it, especially I find myself easily feel anxiety.
So inspirational how you maintained positivity the whole time through your recovery, and transformed the unfortunate event into inspiration to pursue medicine. I’m so excited to follow your journey through great achievements.
Well I don’t know you personally , I was just watching random videos then I watched your “what school Am I applying to ”video after that I found that you are really good and positive person also hardworking ,I always been negative person and I always put my depression as an excuse to myself , I subscribed you and when I see you uploading new video I always want to watch it, I didn’t know why! then I followed you in Twitter just incase , I find that you’re really smart and strong person I was happy for your accepted in college, don’t ever think that you can’t achieve something , sometimes we ask ourself why this happening to me, but every thing is happening for a reason, bad times makes us more strong and we get know more about self, I wish you happy life and a lot of Achievements, sorry if my English is bad “I am not native English speaker “
Red apple thank you for your kind words! It’s people like you who keep me going. & by the way, i think your English is very strong for a non-native speaker.
Everything happens for a reason, Kale and as a Christian mom of two kids I truly believe you will be a wonderful doctor one day and having experienced this in your life it’ll give you the compassion a lot of doctors these days lack. God Bless you for your perseverance and resilience and you’re future is so bright young man.
