I experienced exactly like yours in 2015: active in sports, sudden attack, had no idea what's going on (the doctors got no idea too that time), had several diagnose until 5 years later they decided it's Transverse Myelitis (which was too late, sadly), even that part become academically minded too lol (I started love learning smh). I'm Asian, clueless of how my future will be, and I agree with you that stay positive is the best therapy. I always told myself to do it, especially I find myself easily feel anxiety.

Hi kale! I am between Hopkins and Vanderbilt right now and I’m having a hard time choosing which. Both are giving me around the same amount of money (and it’s a good amount). I live in nashville and have toured vandy multiple times, I think it’s a really beautiful campus with a nice social scene (which is really important to me) and I’m gonna fly out to Baltimore in a few weeks, but my concern with Hopkins is that the social life and campus honestly looks dead compared to vandy. However I know I want to settle in the northeast area (dmv, near network or Boston) so that would give me an advantage. Also I think Hopkins holds more prestige. For majors, I know I went into STEM, maybe neuroscience, public health, or genetic cousneling but not completely sure.
