As stated previously, this is the second of five planned remake videos. After Nargacuga that will be it. The originals will be delisted, but available to watch through this playlist:

In addition to this, I am waiting until the release of Title Update 5 to do an Evolution update video for the Sunbreak monsters. Not long now.
This monster and his inclusion in MGS peace walker is the reason I became a monster hunter fan.
I really want to play Peace Walker some day!
Additions in Sunbreak: Tigrex is mush faster and has a new attack where he leaps and slams his arm into the ground while turning around. This attack has good tracking and deals a lot damage and he can even combo into a rock launch or a bite after it. Tigrex is my fav monster ever. His design is simple and unique and his move set feels like that of an animal and also true to his character as a charging rampage.
His roar can also potentially one shot
All the monsters have essentially been given steroids in order to keep up with the wirebugs.
I'm not a huge Tigrex fan but Molten Tiggy will forever be one of my favorite fights in the series.
I remember being stuck at him for around 2 weeks, changing weapons and methods to fight him before going back to my main at the time and finally beating him.
Probably the funnest time I've had playing monster hunter (aside from playing afterschool with friends).
The roar beam Brute Tigrex uses in Iceborne is similar to Zenith Tigrex's from Frontier only it's not a full 360 beam.
I look forward to but dread the day I reach him
Got to agree, Brute Tigrex is my favourite of the bunch. So much so that I bought portable 3rd and tried to play it on PSP.
7:12 Poor Anjanath, dude was just minding his own business before eating a tail
He deserved it tbf
Mans was an innocent bystander just wanting a good drink and got backtailed for it
I really miss Brute's rampaging attack. That move solidifies his "brutish" sub species name, for me
tigrex always scared me more than any other monster, probably because of the freedom 2 intro that I'd watch religiously on my friends psp 😆 there's something so timelessly horrifying about a monster whose gimmick is just running as fast as possible at you 😰😰
Tigrex was almost mythical to me. I started in Tri and knew nothing about the series until I had beaten Tri with my little brother. Once we did that he had gotten a PSP and had Freedom Unite, so I had seen it but I never got to hunt it. It didn't come back in 3U so I went a whole generation never having a real chance to hunt it only hearing about it from the community and seeing videos about it occasionally. 4U was the first time I ever got to hunt it myself so there was all these years of buildup. I'm glad he came back in World though because I dropped 4U once I hit G-Rank because of the 3DS controls being super uncomfortable.
This thing kinda scares me. Seeing on charge from behind me feels like a to be continued meme
Brutes Laser is probably based on Akantors Windtunnel, so its a new Move, but not out of nowhere.
I like Bute as well. Iceborns looks great and is decently callenging.
I love tigrex!!!!! mhfu was my first MH and I will always love this boi!!!!!!!
Another heavy banger 🗣
fighting Brute Tigrex in Iceborne with lance is so fun. Once you get into the rhythm, you get to counter all the rawrs
Brute Tigrex is my favourite fight (and armor set) in 4U.
Earplugs help with all the shouting.
Tigrex has been my favorite monster since I first fought him in my first MH game ever (Rise, yes, I'm just a recent hunter) and I have fallen in love with him since. Which makes me absolutely furious that I only today discovered Grimclaw Tigrex (thanks to this video) after knowing about his two other versions already for a long time, but now I can say Grimclaw is my favorite Tigrex, apart from the Base 🧡💙
I love how gen 5 changed Tigrex and Iceborne Tigrex is my favourite version
First time I fought him (used lance) this monster felt relentless and it was a very close fight. Can't say the same about any following fights, but I still love the moveset and simple design
my favorite is Brute, since the coloruation reminds me of my old cat
Was I just oblivious in Iceborne or in Rise did they change his spinning tail move to include his front legs now? I notice in Rise if I stand by his front feet before he does his 360 tail spin I get hit by his front foot first before the tail even comes out. Noticed this because I started to guard point this attack with charge blade now now I have to do it before the attack comes out because of the front foot. Just wondering if I entirely missed this in Iceborne or if it was changed in Rise
I really want Molten Tired back to a modern Monster Hunter game. The Rise and Informe additions to the Tigres along with Monten's quirks would make an excellent fight
Think about how Lucent Nargacuga is in Sunbreak, Molten would be incredible.
@@HeavyWings I'm praying he's coming pretty soon, maybe not MH6, but the next title maybe
if they went over event quests and advanced quests we'd be ere a lot longer as sometime they change mechanics and whatnot i.e dahren moh'ran not letting you mount on em
U Should Do A armor Evolution Series
It feels off that tigrex and nargacuga while flying wyverns rarely if not ever fly are just fang wyverns that have wing arms
8:00 someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Rise Tigrex appear in Low Rank too? Maybe not Hub but I swear he was a Village Quest monster too.
Are you playing Frontier rn? I am at HR5
good video Is it ok if I ask you a question?
Why won't you cover sunbreak's tigrex? It's quite a difficult fight from the base game version and has new attack move.
Read the pinned comment, but the short of it is that I was waiting until TU5 to cover the Sunbreak changes of Rathalos, Tigrex, Diablos, Kushala, Teostra etc
@@HeavyWings oh, thought you meant the ones newly added when you mentioned the "sunbreak monsters", makes sense (since their afflicted versions can still potentially add in new moves as level increases).
tigrex likes to charge.... A LOT. 🤣😂 and then you see these clips of him bulldozering around.
My favorite tigrex is Grimclaw
He's pretty cool. I love his colour scheme and he was one of my favourite monsties in Stories 2.
@@HeavyWings Just hatched one a few days ago. I named it Powerade :P
Base Tigrex is annoying in Iceborne because he charges constantly and there is almost nothing you can do to punish him with most melee weapons. He is one of the few monsters who make the Lance shine compared to other weapons. Why? Clutch counter. Not only the claw attacks of Lance tenderize in one hit, are faster than most of the other clutch claw attacks and have higher motion values than the other Lance attacks beside the finishing thrust, but you get rocksteady armor when clutch countering. It makes Lance even more of a countering weapon with a move you can base an entire playstyle on, and it stands out against monsters who jump and charge all over the place like Tigrex and Barioth. The clutch counter should be brought back for Lance in MH6 (without the awful tenderizing mechanic, of course).
I prefer Nargacuga to Tigrex, but I think Brute Tigrex and Molten Tigrex are superior to Green Nargacuga (an ugly and lazy recolor of base Nargacuga) and Lucent Nargacuga. I like Brute Tigrex in Iceborne, but it would have been amazing if it was Molten Tigrex they had brought back. Not only he was bigger and had two stages of rage, but his hitzones changed when he went to his second rage state, his head, claws and wings going from bad hitzones to weakspots. Molten Tigrex SnS and Lance were some of the best raw weapons in their category beside relic weapons, with high raw, positive affinity, blast if awakened and a very long white sharpness. The only thing I didn't like was that Capcom removed him automatically being exhausted after rage 2 in G-rank, meaning after his rage 2 state ended, he would go in rage 1 almost immediately after, then rage 2 again. He did go exhausted, but only once or twice, meaning you fought Molten Tigrex in rage 2 90% of the time. They could have made instead an additional special quest where Molten Tigrex was 100% rage 2, much like there were special quests with Akantor and Ukanlos perpetually in rage. Hopefully, Molten Tigrex will make a return in MH6.
I feel that you didn't fight sunbreak tigrex. That fucker can slam with his claw and I seen him spawm it several times back to back and go different directions. That attack has one shot several people in my hunts.
