I wish some oem would bring back Blackberry... I know a lot of people hated the Blackberry storm, but i loved it, i take mine out and play with it every once and awhile.
The only alternate for Android is Unihertz, but, I've not heard much about any latest products from them, they did a Titan/Titan Mini (standard BB design-ish), then they did a 'Key/Key2' type clone...
The great (one of many) things about blackberry keyboard is the ability to use two languages at the same time. With Iphone you have to switch, which slows typing experience (already really bad on Iphone). I am a die hard blackberry fan and I use my phone mostly for typing.
Thanks for the review! I know people who use the Clicks on their 15 Pro’s and they like it. I’ll be upgrading from my 14 Pro Max to 17 Pro Max next year so will get one then. As a long-time BlackBerry fan and user myself, I like that the Clicks team designed this for those of us who like a physical keyboard.
So I have the founders edition on my iPhone 15 pro. It has started separating on the sides..so my keyboard is bending. I do not bend the phone at all…so I’m not sure what caused it. I reached out to clicks support and they agreed to send out a replacement. Problem is thats over 2 weeks ago now and clicks isn’t responding to my requests for at least an update. I love my clicks, but at this time support is questionable along with build quality. If I get a replacement finally, great. If not I won’t be repurchasing. A lot of $ for a product with build issues and flaky support help.
Update on this: Someone at Clicks named Kevin (CB Kevin maybe!?) took over my case and expedited a replacement. Thanks again to you, Kevin, if you ever see this.
Have you seen the M-Con? It's a magsafe compatible slide out controller for the iPhone. I think a keyboard attachment in that style would be sick. It adds some thinkness for sure, but you don't need to keep it attached to the phone while in your pocket.
This is what I'm waiting for, too. I don't want to pop my phone in and out of the Clicks case all the time (as I don't want to lug around that brick every day). So, something similar with MagSafe would be awesome. There are some phone "book-style" cases on Amazon with a Bluetooth keyboard and magnetic holder on the flap, but it's not quite it.
Tech Odyssey, the man of the hour for our BlackBeery needs. It would be awesome for my future S25 ultra! Please, Adam, make it happen!! Keep the amazing content and be safe; health to you and your family!
Hi Adam, thanks for another great video. I am in the UK and still using my Blackberry Key-2, which is still working very well - apart from needing a new battery fairly soon. Can you please advise us, as to how this new Clicks Keyboard Case works - i.e. how is installed. Can it be done at home, or does the phone have to be sent away for professional installation / upgrade of some kind. If it can be added at home by a reasonably competent person, does it take a fair amount of time and expertise ? Your advice would be most welcome. Many thanks and All the Best, Paul Conti (Wales, UK)..
Blackberry porsche design is the rolls royce of the Blackberry range and im looking for one in Australia but not sure its gonna work since the 3g network has been closed
I want a keyboard case but don't want the added length. Since BlackBerry is clearly not suing keyboard case makers anymore (RIP Typo Innovations) maybe they could make a typo style case or typo could make a comeback??? If they did I would switch back to Apple just to have it.
the problem is they are not updating older models, the 15 series one lacks magsafe, doesnt have data transfer capability, wouldnt let wired car play, these are big no’s , glad they fixed for 16 series, but no one wants to change their phone for a keyboard case(meant this for 15 series users) , as much as it is a good product, the lack of features for 15 series doesnt look like a good deal, especially when you throw in the 200 cad asking price. a weird perk: i do remember seeing 15 series clicks keyboard fit fine for nothing phone 1, so you might try an android phone with this , thats the phone.
Can someone please tell me how to swap between Charging mode and Data mode for the USBC port? I remember a hands on video a while back that mentioned how but I can't find it, nor can I seem to find the answer anywhere on their website or the manuals.
Nice video been wanting to try one of these. What is the gray tab on the left or right side of the screen on your iPhone? It has a white chevron arrow in it like it may be a tab that pops out to a menu. Not something I have ever seen on an iPhone.
I’m also a big blackberry fan and miss mine. I wish a new blackberry phone could be made just for email and text. I would buy it. I want the updated one foe the 15 pro. I need MagSafe for my 15
The fact that this is a fixed keyboard that lengthens the phone by an additional 2 1/2 to 3" or whatever it is, that's the biggest dealbreaker for me. What I would love to instead, granted it would be harder to do, take quite a bit more engineering, is if the keyboard was hinged at the bottom of the phone and flipped around to the back of the phone and snap to the phone via Magsafe when not in use then when you wanted to use it just flip it around. The downside to this approach though would likely be that the thickness of the phone when the keyboard is flipped over/not in use would likely be up to 10mm thicker on the bottom back of the phone but to me it's a better compromise than extending your phone this much from the bottom whether you use the physical keyboard or not.
@TechOdyssey honestly, I don't either. The reason for the suggestion has to do with the current form factor of phones being so tall and it can be top heavy with the keyboard being at the bottom. That is why I made the other comment here the blackberry had the perfect form factor for a keyboard.
Oh there is a keyboard god! I am still using my KEY2 LE. Have NEVER used an iPhone or Samsung b/c I can't friggin type on glass AT ALL. Tried many times. And I am addicted to the Blackberry Hub. Correct me if I am wrong, but the hub is available for download on iPhones correct? Do you use the hub? I am like you that I HATE big phones and am not liking the size of this keyboard attachment but maybe it is another thing I will have to get used to. Is the Deltek security on BB available for download on iPhone? How is the weight distribution when you add the keyboard attachment? I notice some phones are top heavy or bottom heavy so typing can be tricky. Thanks much for your channel!
I’m sorry, I couldn’t help but laughing throughout this entire video. I love the concept, but the size. 😂 I would love to see Tim Apple using one of these.
I miss my Blackberry, altho I enjoy(ed) my Z Fold3 and now 6. If they come out with a physical keyboard for an Android, I would trade my Z Fold for a compatible phone for the physical keyboard in a heartbeat...I just irritated my husband when I told him that 😂...what can I say, I miss the physical keyboard 🤷🏼♀️
Mr. Mobile isn't exactly an iPhone enthusiast so this was definitely a production ease scenario. Android simply has too many form factors for this to be feasibly available
I think its from Mr. Mobile because he was a big fan of blackberry as well, but nowadays I do not see that as innovation, or something that people will drop the website to order this. I can not imagine to use it in max models its not possible. If you have extra money for something to play at home why not.
Lifelong fan 😂. Yes. I remember having the little roller ball. It made you mr important. I might as well been CEO, being able to just check my email anywhere. 😂
I like the idea of the keyboard, I do not see it selling well because there is not a Android Version of the IPhone physical keyboard, so I would pass on it.
Thats not it the joy of black berry is it fit in your hand and designed to be held in your palm to type!!! With this attachment you have to do a balancing act just to keep it upright. Days of the Querty keyboards are gone but if you want to waste money for a week or so bcos i cant honestly see this taking off but if you have the money and want to try it cool also who types these days people use voice to txt now its 2024?? AI time...You made a comment not alot of people used a keyboard etc well not alot of people used an ATARI in the space of playstation and xboxes forward progression not backward...
@@TechOdysseyI think you're right especially as Donald Trump has won the Presidential Race and has for a short while been been codling Elon's nut-sack. I'm sure that money oriented friendship will soon hit the fan though.
ohhhh ! WOW NICE AT LAST ANOTHER PHONE WITH A KEYBOARD... oh no.. its still a crap apple product. i like my old blackberry because its a big memory card. you can just drag n drop everything in this beast and it will read it
It's a throwback of the past that should be forgotten in the first place! It adds SO much mass to the phone and makes it impossible to pocket-store something like this. As a "practical" user, this is just DUMB and useless. If you have a Samsung phone, you can simply just use DEX hooked up to your PC and makes this keyboard even MORE useless and irrelevant. NOT to mention the price for this contraption. Sadly, people will buy this in droves and quickly find out just how useless it is and impractical it is.
Need one for iPhone 13 mini.
I doubt they will ever make one for the 13mini but that is the phone it would make the most sense for. I would buy it in a second!
I still have my iPhone 13 Mini. Will buy one of these cases in a heartbeat if they manufacture one. 🔥

I'm actually really glad you made a video on this. I'm picking up a 16 Pro today and I needed to see a video from someone I trust.

That would be amazing.

Need one for my Z Flip 6. Also a big Blackberry fan. I gave up after they did.
The best case ever! Im using it right now!
Any chance they look into a pixel model.
How about ine for the Pixel 9 Pro XL? They tell you if android is coming?
Sadly i have no info
When can we get it for Android???? Especially for the Pixel 8 or 9! Clicks please please please hurry and drop!

It's so accurate most of the time
It’s very good
Where is the android love. Blackberry and apple don't mix
Need them to make one that slides
Can you show the case before you put the iPhone in it?
How’s the weight distribution? Is the phone top heavy?
i just ordered it for my 16 PM thank you
Razr 50 ultra version would be ideal to reduce the size issue.
But slightly fewer of those phones out there then iPhones
Love my Clicks keyboard case for the 16 pro! now my phone feels tiny if I take it out of the Clicks case

The form factor of the blackberry is what I miss along with the keyboard. I would love a blackberry alongside my iPad mini.

A pretty rambling review, but I do like the product. Looking forward to trying it.
the most unneccesary innovation i have ever seen, why the hell someone wants to ruin their phone's form factor !
The fact that this is a fixed keyboard that lengthens the phone by an additional 2 1/2 to 3" or whatever it is, that's the biggest dealbreaker for me. They need some competition to drive that price down
They should make a flippy version ala Sony Ericsson P800/P900 series
It seems to me that the Clicks would be better for the smaller iPhones
Would be nice if they make one for Samsung too.
Wish they have it for android

what a missed opportunity to put a battery in there. it would also help balance the phone by adding more weight there
