This is the first-ever cool-toned palette that I've owned and I got it the same time as the colour-pop bare necessities and I really like them both. My first colour-pop eyeshadows too

You look beautiful. Great skin. Thanks for the tutorial. I deal with the same problems as you and I always try to patch it up with makeup. I learned a nice trick, so that the shadows are better smoked, I usually put a little loose powder and smoke together with the dark shadow. It works perfectly and looks flawless.

Oh my gosh, Tamara you look so radiant! We are liking so many of the same things. I too LOVE the IT Cosmetics new foundation - best one yet - and this is from someone who has had zero luck with ANY IT Cosmetics foundations. The CC cream was horrible on me and any other recent launches they had but this one is lovely! I love CT's Airbrush and use it just like you do - I can only use cool tone shadows. Warm tones make me look sickly. I HAD the Natasha Denona Glam palette... I sent it BACK to Sephora... I was only using a couple of shades and for the money I didn't think it was worth it - but any of my favorite RUclipsrs I see using it always looks lovely on them! While I didn't order Stone Cold from CP, I did order the sold out Taupe one when it came back in stock last week which is also cooler tones but in a smaller palette. I'm anxious to get that and see how well the colors work. I also have a few cool toned singles from Sidney Grace that I'm making a list of and may put a palette together. Other than that I have two eyeshadow palettes! That's it! Love Lisa's lippies as well - I got the muse kit and it's just beautiful. Great video as always! :)
Wow! We DO love many of the same things! I am SO glad I didn't buy the ND Glam...I had my eye on That's Taupe...it looks gorgeous! And I have been working on building a singles collection... I have about 15 cool and rosey, mauvey toned Sidney Grace Singles so far...I bet we have many of the same colors...Great Minds think alike ❤️

I love that Petra corrector as well and I use the Kiehl's avacado for under the eye. It works so well. I love how that palette looks on you. And the lip gloss. Thank you for the Mad Hippie Face Cream suggestion. My skin loves it. I found out that Mad Hippie will recycle their bottles through Terracycle so I'm switching over my Vitamin C from Timeless to Mad Hippie.

I have always been hesitant to tightline because I have contacts - but after watching this I have decided to give it a try!
It takes a little practice, but once you have it down it's fast and easy. You want an eyeliner that is water resistant. I've really enjoyed the Physician's Formula that I linked. Good luck and let me know how it goes ❤️

Hi Tamara, I’m so glad that you reviewed this foundation. I have very dry skin. I use Retin-A at night, and before I put on foundation I prep with vitamin C and jojoba oil, then put on my foundation, but this immediately dries like a powder even with my facial oils. I’ve only used it for about a week and I’m trying to make it work. I’ll try using my Loreal glow under it and maybe that will help. I really want to keep it because it has a nIce finish, it just feels drier than I expected. I like a dewy foundation. I’ll take any suggestions. Thank you for reviewing this. Love your videos. I have de same problem. My skin become dry with age. I found that I should only put a foundation pump. One pea, a small amount and spread very well. And it works with any liquid foundation.
Dry skin can be SO challenging! Hydration from the inside out and the outside in is SO important. Some of the things that work for me is the Sukiyaki Suhada Urea Essence right after cleansing on damp skin to seal in hydration. Also a humidifier at night, and of course very rich moisturizers and night creams loaded with Ceramides, glycerin, etc. A super hydrating sunscreen helps too. I love the new EltaMD UV Restore and DRMTLGY Moisturizing SPF 46...both VERY hydrating! I have several skin care videos dedicated to dry skin types. I do think the CT Hollywood Flawless Filter gave a nice extra glow. Hope this helps. ❤️

Thank you Christy! I didn't pay much attention to my neck until about 10 years ago...wish I had started sooner. I just take all my skin care down my neck. I am starting to see quite a bit of laxity, especially under my chin that doesn't show up in videos. not sure what else to do. I remember Nora Ephron wrote the book "I'm sad about my neck" so we are not alone! Necks are challenging! Thanks for being here! ❤️
I use supergoop glow screen sunscreen. Under my makeup, and the CT Hollywood filter on top. At 57, I love the glow!

Do you put any setting powder under your eyes?
Good Question! I forgot to mention setting in the video! Most of the time I don't use powder under my eyes. Sometimes I actually use a setting spray. If I do use a powder, it is just a super light layer of HourGlass Ambient Lighting Finishing powder everywhere as a final touch. I'm a big fan of cool tones too but find them hard to come by. The colours look so good on you and I'm similar colouring so I'm clenching my fists and stamping my feet because I'm in the UK and we don't have that brand 😬. Also my daughter used to always use the Garnier roller ball and she hasn't been able to get that anywhere for a few years. We'll just have to move!!
Darn! Color pop is huge here. Another one of my favorite palettes is Tartlette in Bloom. Neutral leaning cool.

Yes, with Curology you can cancel anytime. You can also downgrade your subscription at any time. For instance, I no longer have them send me the cleanser, just the RetinA and moisurtizer. You can also adjust the timing from every other month to every 3 months if needed. But I do suggest giving it several months as RetinA works slowly over time. I really enjoy Curology...it's a great service. My provider has always been available to answer questions and adjust my prescription as needed. Good luck! ❤️

Thank you! And that's a good question! My skin is light to light/medium, but not necessarily cool. Meaning I do not have pink undertones, my skin is actually a slightly more on the olive/yellow side. Even so, I have never gravitated towards warm colors in wardrobe or makeup. I'm a "winter' I that means anything to you...meaning I prefer and feel better in jewel tones, neutral and cool tones.

Did you always have upturned eyes? You are gorgeous! I have noticed as I've gotten into my 60s that my eyes are starting to droop. I did have to have chemo and I think that that wrecked the collagen in my body so that might have something to do with that but I was just wondering if this was a genetic thing for you or if you really work at getting your eyes to look so fab!
Thank you! I do the same skin care to my eyes as the rest of my face. I do try to "lift" them with makeup...or at least make sure the makeup doesn't drag them down. But in our 60s...collagen loss is just an ongoing issue. Good for you for getting through chemo...that must have been rough. Take care ❤️

I will be 60 yrs old in Feb of 2022, my eyelashes are what seems to have changed over the years,I can't seem to even use a eyelash curler that I have always used since being a teen, they are so hard to get a curl in them.IS there a real good product that will help them grow and grow somewhat fast? I bought one and paid $150.00 but really didn't get much result and this is one product you have to use all the time
I had the same experience! I tried the very expensive Latisse and it did nothing. Then I tried Revitalash and yes, quite expensive, but it really gave me longer, thicker lashes. So I'm pretty brand new to this whole RUclips beauty video thing and seeing everyone using brushes to apply liquid foundation and cream concelors and such. Which is totally new to me. And I'm wondering, are you all washing your makeup brushes after each use?
Hi Susanne, I don't wash them after every use (though I probably should) But I do have two of the foundation brushes and three of the concealer brushes/sponges so I only need to wash my brushes once or twice a week. The powder brushes can go longer than the brushes that are used for creams and liquids.

It cosmetics has a very bad rating on EWG. I am looking for something less toxic. Any suggestions?
I could not find this IT foundation on the EWG. I did see that the CC cream was rated fairly low, mostly because they rated it poorly as a sunscreen as well as a few ingredients that are not found in the foundation. I could not find any foundations on the EWG website? Maybe I missed it. Luckily my fav sunscreen EltaMD scored pretty well! Thanks for the heads up. I’ll keep researching. ❤️
