- I intended to do an every day look, but wound up going just a TINY bit...extra, just a tiny bit beyond "my everyday". But I had a ton of fun doing it! Please forgive the rookie mistake of smudgy mirror and products...learning!
This look would normally only take about 20 minutes, but because I am describing my favorite, go to products and techniques, the video went a little long. (should have added a touch more blush to show up on camera but in real life looked good)

Oh man I can't wait to start. I got some Retin A today and I am waiting for summer to end. I tried before when I was much younger (early 30's) and i ended up getting melasma because I went out into the sun with it one!! SO DUMB! Now I am so careful about sun exposure and acid use.

I know this was posted 7 mos ago but this was a great video. I love the IT tightline mascara for my lower lashes and it is the only one I will use there. You got me interested in the blush and face powder. I also love those sheer lipsticks and have a few as well. Your look turned out so beautiful. Your hair is so cute too!

you are beautiful with or without makeup! My favorite liptstick was L'Oreal long wearing, fawn fatale 810. I wore it for years and they discontinued it in 2010 - haven't found a suitable replacement yet!

@@TamarasTimelessBeauty It REally IS working!!! OMGolly. I just can't spend the 100 per month for it, right now, though. It's enough for all that I am currently using! But, even in the better times, I got the script from my eye doc, but just could not spend that much to make my eyelashes grow straight out!!! They are like sticks and NOTHING can keep them curled, once curled!!! They barely can hold up the light Mascara I use on them! But, if money wasn't an object, I would do it. But...the REvitalash Will stop working eventually, then you stay on a roller coaster in search and waiting for another serum to work!!! I am single and will remain single, so It is not worth it to me at this time. However...if I get an eyelift...I may reconsider!!! I'm looking into the procedure!

I much rather see older women put make up on than younger girls because I honestly hate how much make up they put on and how they overly contour. I love make up, but I just wear enough so that I look more rested and glowy and not look like a different person! Haha you do your make up so nice and looks elegant and not overly done. I really wish to look as good as you when I’m older. I am starting to see changes in my skin right now that I am hating so I have been trying to make some changes and introduce new products. Your channel is really informative. I recently watched the sunscreen video and I had no idea about the different types and I’m going to buy some because I am guilty of not wearing any and I don’t see the damage yet but I’m sure I will later on 😖. Hello. I don’t have any real tips/tricks for makeup. I only wear foundation, powder on top, mascara and lipstick. I don’t know how to put on eyeshadow or blush, and didn’t even know about the face contouring until you showed it on your video. I recently bought make up brushes, but don’t k ow which to use for what. So I’m learning. I’m ashamed to say that I’m 62 years old and do not know these things. Everything has changed since I once wore everything. Your video has helped me and I’m looking forward to seeing more videos. Maybe you can do a video showing the different types of brushes and what they are used for.
It’s only in this last few years with RUclips that I finally figured out eyeshadow...I could never get those silly little sponge tip applicators to work! I am def planning a brush video soon! Stay tuned! And thank you for watching and commenting so thoughtfully. ❤️

Tamera, I love your videos! Girl, we are same age and use the same products. Hour Glass, same eye shadow pallets, same Charlotte. I’m now really into cream blush. But also love the hour glass. Some day, maybe, I’ll stop coloring. Also had gray in my 20’s. My mom is 89 and has beautiful white hair. Question, no gray in your eyebrows? I feel I need to keep mine colored. So much gray. I have dark brows and lots of brow. Always get compliments on my brows. But boy do I have to keep the gray out. I also use the Benefit brow color. Love your finished look. Beautiful! I can't put the elta md tinted sunscreen under my eyes because it gets in my eye wrinkles and makes it look horrible. I just put moisturizer on there and a regular sunscreen on there instead.
I usually by Smadbox or Lancôme but decided to buy Voluminous Lash Primer
Omg. It is so nice to use. I don’t need to buy the more expensive brands. I notice you used a spray on your foundation brush before applying foundation. As you apply more foundation do you keep spraying your foundation brush each time? I love your channel. I use Urban Decay setting spray would that be ok. Now I asked 2 question. ❤️🌹❤️

As far as spraying the brush…I use a hydrating finishing mist (lately Pixi glow mist) mostly to add a little moisture and make blending easier. I would think the UD would work fine and may add longevity to the wear time. I use just enough spray to slightly moisten the brush…not wet. If I add more foundation I may use another tiny spritz, but not always. It’s sort of an intuitive process that I play around with. Hope this helps! ❤️
I love the makeup look and the colors used. The only thing is that with the longer lashes.....I really can't see all of the beautiful colors on your eyelids. jmho.
The Elta MD alone makes me look like an umpa-loompa 🎃
Darn! You must be pretty fair. You might try the Cotz mineral tinted SPF. It is much paler than the Elta.

Darn! Maybe you are fair enough to use an Untinted mineral sunscreen? Maybe a slight white cast would be ok on your skin. Elta MD had intinted SPFs as well. Haven’t tried them personally though. Let me know when you find something that works for you!
Tamara’s Timeless Beauty you won’t believe my match. I am not a PTR fan in general but the PTR naked 45 mineral is almost spot on! Definitely recommend for FP type I-II. I also put Evy spf 50 faces under it but looks like I found a HG 😇 mineral spf!! Skinceuticals (also recommended for my tone) was a bit too drying a just a spec too dark but is very nice if not pricy. But PTR isn’t cheap either! Thanks for all your suggestions! You are so helpful:)

Welcome! I’m Super happy to have you here! Unfortunately the UD Color corrector I used in this video has been discontinued. I believe NARS makes a similar creamy corrector with a similar delivery system and sponge tip applicator.

Years ago I was into microdermabrasion facials, but never got around to any peels or dermaplanimg, I’m interested in trying peels or laser, but haven’t fully looked into it yet. (I detmaplane myself with my tinkles :)
Your makeup looks great! Though I have to ask how you get your eyelashes to look so nice and curly? Are they just naturally like that or does the mascara combo you use make them that way? Just curious because whenever I use mascara my eyelashes stay pretty straight...I wish they would curl/be more visible like yours! Anyways, thanks for the video! 😊
Hi Amber, thank you for the sweet compliment! My eyelashes really started getting skimpy a few years ago! Luckily I found Revitalash, lash growth serum about a year ago. It really works to make lashes longer and thicker! Luckily I’ve never needed to curl my lashes...they’ve always had a decent curl. And I do LOVE loreal lash primer and mascara!

Why do you use 2 you rations and call it minimal? Just curious.
Good point! I view my Elta MD + IT CC cream combo as tinted sun protection...not so much of a foundation. It dies give VERY light coverage and some days that’s enough. But if I want a more medium coverage I will go over it with a light foundation for a more perfected look. The Elta + IT acts almost like a primer in that case.

You're applying a good amount of sunscreen but you should not mix anything with it. You can be changing the spf in it. Watch Dr dray videos about it. Xx
Hi Pedro, You are absolutely correct that you should not dilute sunscreen by mixing it with make up..but the beauty of my concoction is the IT CC cream that I mix with the sunscreen also has sunscreen mineral SPF of 50 so it actually enhances my SPF!

Tamara, What a gorgeous end product. Who'd a thunk you had on all your serums, etc. underneath! I love and am obsessed with your sweaters, as I have some look a likes, and all are in pastel colors. Think pastels and silver jewelry are super for us women with silver white hair! However...IF you wear any lighter colors on your lids, crease, etc., I will Stop watching!!! You are kidding me...You think this is too much??? Don't dare go any lighter!!! I know we are not talking about every day looks. I am talking about any time you go out and do decide to wear makeup!!! I can't Stand women on YT who will NOT wear at least as much as you are wearing here!!! It is something I just can't endure to watch. Very few women can stand to wear any less!!! Why put it on in the first place, is what I say. Thank you for doing this video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you put on everything, as I love tutorials. You have made me want to purchase both Hourglass products!!! I like that you do not contour except for the chin area, and love the exact ideas for where you put your blush. I admit I go deeper and use peachy pinks even tho I am cool. I MUST do my eyes more dramatic due to severe hooded eyes. But I always use a light taupe so that it is not as noticeable as the crazy wild colors in palettes, most of them. I missed the bandwagon for the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eye, and I regret it to this minute, as I would have used them all with my hair, now. I don't understand all the women who place their eyeshadows outside their eye area, but Not up to make the Arc show. Looks just like they placed their shadow as a one line and stops at the arc. I Must place in an Arc! I look silly otherwise. Do you know what I mean? Arg...it just drives me nuts! It cuts their eyes off, and ruins their hooded eyes, or not hooded eyes. I feel they should finish the Arc at least to the point of necessity, not going completely full Arc. So, that's what I would do different, if I were doing an eye look. They just look darn silly as can be. But, seems most all are doing it this way. We all have different eye shapes. To me, they are making their eyes look like slanted closed eyes. You did Not do this. You swept your color into the full Arc, of which I am trying so hard to explain!
I Still want to see the rest of your cottage, and would love to see what you eat in a day, as I am trying to lose.
