I love when people first find out about Crusader Kings and the depths of insanity you can go into.
The resident Yorkshire tea lover "the Spiffing Brit" has made quite a lot of insane attempts at breaking Crusader Kings in entertaining ways.
I'm glad they now have a $5 a month subscription for the $300+ of DLC so I can actually enjoy this game.
The Doom books (I have all four, I'm not aware of any more that exist) have as much to do with Doom as the Disney Trilogy of Star Wars have to do with Star Wars.

@@gg09701 The first one was essentially a retelling of the original trilogy with new characters. Kind of. The second was to throw everything established out the window and the third was an abomination that tried to keep the second Disney fanfiction movie relevant but fix everything it fucked up.
There is also a Doom comic, it's quite funny.

If you want to watch good crusader kings content you should watch Mr Sam Streamer gameplay. He recently just finished a 80 part, definitely insane playthrough.

Yep, CK2 has a big Warcraft mod, that goes through most of the major events of WC1-3 and WoW.

The Doom Books are absolute Trash that I LOVE.
They had little to do with the story, were written clearly in one go on cocaine, and with little editing.
Highly recommend while drinking and wanting to read something light and fun.

Man has medical degree and worked in a pharmaceutical research lab.
He quit it after seeing one of his coworkers jump out of a window bc of the mobbing in the workplace and bc he was sick of how corrupt the industry in general is.
He made an entire 3 hour long stream on DLive where he talked about immunology and cancer, which is basically a college level lecture.
There really is no origin for Sseth. He's more than a man. He's an idea. An eternal meme.
Sseth was actually in the medical field until he somewhat recently swapped to full-time making videos. I don't think he finished his doctorate, but I believe he was on the way of being an oncologist. There's even a live stream he did where he talked about the study he was involved in where they were experimenting with inducing a fever in patients to treat cancer.
Apparently, it actually works really well.
He was immunologist and he finished his degree, but didn't get MD or whatever, and worked for some time for some pharmaceutical corporation. At least it's what he says.

To this day, I still prefer Crusader Kings II over Crusader Kings III. While unexpanded CK3 is certainly better than unexpanded CK2 with respect to features, it's probably going to take another half a decade before CK3's DLCs catch up to fully-expanded CK2, and meanwhile the base game of CK2 is available on Steam for free, and you can get access to all of CK2's DLCs by paying one monthly recurring fee of, if I recall correctly, like $5. I tried CK3 at one point when there was a free trial available last year, and I quickly decided that, while the game has great potential, it needs a while to catch up to fully-expanded CK2.

The base game nowadays is free and the whole collection of DLC can be rented via subscription.
