I also did mine today, but left the license plate bulbs standard. Don’t like the white light. But the interior + door lights, wow what an improvement! So much better and it makes the car look fresher. Sadly the mirror lights are smaller and couldn’t find a led bulb for it. Haven’t checked the trunk light, but I bet it’s just as good.
Big thanks to Auxito for providing the LED interior bulbs! If you're interested in LED light bulbs, check out the link below. You can use the code "blacktree" during checkout for 15% off your order. www.auxito.com/mta7b135
I'm happy with the outcome of replacing mine with these auxito leds also my rear turning signal and fog light. These lights are affordable and of excellent quality.
I had the same problem as you when encountering the vanity light bulbs. The LEDs that I got for my 2002 Chevrolet Prizm's dome light didn't fit, but they fit my '07 Prius' 2 dome lights pretty well. They're the SIRIUS LED brand.
It's installed and hooked up to the chassis wiring, but doesn't work. I'm not sure if there's a compatibility issue, or a wiring issue. I've been busy with other things.
@@michaelblacktree It’s the MFD that isn’t compatible. You need to swap it for one that has a higher screen resolution. (One with the NAV button, or a unit that came from a Prius with back up cam). The base MFD has a lower resolution.

Great Video looks like a half hour job at most!
You can probably replace all those lights in 15-20 minutes. For me, it took several days, because I was making a video.
Damn, those are bright!
Very bright!
@@michaelblacktree very, very bright.
Bright enough for my old eyes to see what I'm doing. 😛

Do all of your 3 front bulbs light up when the door is opened?
Just bought an 08 Prius & found your channel! Did you ever install that junkyard stock back up camera?

@@michaelblacktree Bummer! No worries at all, was just curious cuz I’d like to do the same!

How many 194 LED bulbs did you use and how many of the other ones did you use? 3? 2 for the trunk and one for the dome light?
What are these wheel covers you have and where can you get them ?
They're aluminum pizza pans. I explained how I installed them here: ecomodder.com/forum/showthread.php/prius-experiment-40050-22.html
How many of each type do you need to buy?
I explained this in the intro of the video.
