Thank you so much for the truth you spoke Destiny. As a young black women seeing black men go on very public platforms disparage black women image so much makes me so uncomfortable. All I see around me are black men that k!ll, don't go to school, terrorize communities, and walk this world with zero empathy. Yet they're on this mission on social media platforms to say that BW are the worse thing to walk the earth. When you're walking to your car at night are you scared of a BW coming out and robbing or a BM? The young children are getting SA'd by BM or BW?
Honestly at this point I would argue maybe not even to give men like this a platofrm they scare me so much, but that's why I back the blue!
I can't speak for scientific certainty but... @Destiny it is a well known thing in the black community that women will get pregnant on porpoise to get government aid... these women(known as welfare queens) never get jobs or find work and its actually a big republican talking point and the fuel behind their "end entitlement programs" push a few years ago... now 10 kids by 5 guys is an extreme example but 3 kids by 2 guys? Super common...

Oh no…this particular traditional man was actually in the home of his baby momma when she was receiving welfare. While our men are stuck not dealing with their demons, cheating, making unwanted babies, dying, unemployed or uneducated, going to jail, drug dealing, killing their women, by default we are left to do something positive for our families and children in the absence of decent Black men. 1. Was 4 years from 65 to 69.
2. Only in 6 states. This wasn't a federal program.
3. This rule didn't apply to fathers or husband's. This only applied to unmarried boyfriends that had no relation to children in the home.

A lot of black men think it will always be moms fault that the father isn’t there. I’ve seen black men say that fatherless homes are black women’s fault because black women are so aggressive and combative that they push away black fathers out of the home or black women just choose bad men so it’s their fault their child doesn’t have a present father.

My observation was that there's a common enough occurrence of these households for them to have their own label within society, but when being labelled the emphasis has been put on the single-parent status of the mother as opposed to the reason they have been made a single parent i.e. the absent father.
What’s funny to me is that a lot of BW are being raised in these single parent households but are somehow turning out to be more accomplished than some of theses BM. Why is that? It’s so pointless for BM to continue to blame BW.

Because single motherhood in the Black community is seen as strictly a BW issue. BM are all but absolved of any of that in the minds of the general Black populous. In fact, much like this debate BM'S behavior and even bodily autonomy is blamed on BW. The Black community sees Black men as infantilized victims that should not be held accountable for anything they do.
Because they don’t believe they create single mothers. Earlier today I sat here listening to a debate on TikTok of this man asking a woman “if it’s your body your choice then it’s your fault that your pregnant because you allowed the man to have sex with you”. I have seen this argument so many times that women are in control of who they have sex with, while arguably true, they leave out the fact that so do men. Therefore both men and women are responsible for creating life. It’s really infuriating

Facts! In my community as well. Every fish fry, retreat, basketball camps, most of the Boy Scouts troops, most the big brother and sister chapters, most the national association of black engineers summer camps, most of the block parties, etc are started and maintained MOSTLY by the women.
Go to a pta meeting and the women will out number the men easy 10:1. Go the the city council meetings again women will be their more the men. It’s sad that in America black women and men are pitted against each other. I think delving more into “what makes a community” and “what are some steps to make the black American community better”.
We have to think why is it the good and POSITIVE things the black community HAD was taken away from them and WHY are the NEGATIVE things for the black community GLAMOURISED and PROMOTED. It’s all a form of brainwashing and ultimately leads to the demise of black American community while people who aren’t in that community myself included because I’m from England look from the outside and enjoy the music or movies but won’t have to deal with the perpetual negativity those things cause. Obviously though because of those movies or music it still generally gives black people a bad stigma to a lot of people WORLDWIDE so I still deal with the lesser negativity.

We all have anecdotal stories but the stats and studies are all the proof we need that BM have made such an experience like mine the norm.

This man had the nerve to try to get off of child support and wanted to put me on child support by filing for a medical neglect against me. With no evidence of it. as a black woman who majored in STEM, graduated and attained my license in clinical laboratory science and is currently working in this field (which is mainly made up of women btw), i seemed to have missed the basket weaving course 😢

What really burn is the argument that women aren’t going into STEM as much as men. The enrollment for medical schools for women is at a 50% rate right now. The vast majority of people in the medical field are women. If woman took a day off the whole medical community would collapse. Woman are going more and more into the STEM fields as well it will take a couple of generations but I’m sure women will catch up in other areas. Than he crapped on other fields that are needed with a college education that more women graduate from like teachers, counselors ect.. these are fields that are just as needed in our society so that we are able to functionally run our communities.

If anything, the person that killed him probably had an absentee father who didn't try hard enough to be in his life and teach him discipline or teach him more productive ways to use his time. The article cited black women own 35% of black business vs white woman who own 20%. The entire article didn't mention once the term black men. The entire article was girl power and breaking barriers. Look at social media. The first black woman this or that. It becomes obvious black men are not suppored in the same manner. Black men are invisible.

Black men who are at young ages need strong black male role models because it's EASY to become discouraged even at a young age by how black men are treated by society. Like its alot a cultural ritual that black men have to tell black boys how's to interact with cops so you don't have to get killed. It's different for men and it's understandable thank black women wouldn't understand that the same way as a man I would not understand all black women's struggles. If black men can be functional in the middle class and black women stop trying to be thots, trying to be rich auntie, coming up on a dude, and/or overly career obsessed then be willing to have a stable middle class man making 50-150k then the black community will be healed. Interesting note, at my church it's interesting to see how many men were postman, truck drivers, etc in their 60s and 70s. The black community have opportunities that haven't been available in the past and people can stop being dumb something can come out of it. Note, black men stop gang banging and pushing trap music, even though you represent a small portion of black men you give black men a horrible imagine.

I have friends, coworkers and roommates and 90% of them, not my friends nor roomate but all my coworkers played the victim card, no matter how small if even an issue, in their minds they’re being targeted. It's not the fact that the degrees are useless, it's the fact that black women tend to use having a degree as a way of say I'm better than black man which is not true at all. Just because the mother has primary custody of the child, doesn't mean that the noncustodial father doesn't have a obligation to co-parent that same child, to influence the child's development, rearing & well being, thereby reassuring that the child is well rounded. Black women deal with the same racial implications and disparagement as us and just like they have to take accountability for their life choices, men do too.
