Common characteristics are the need for order, sameness, perfectionism, difficulty in sharing or delegating tasks, being rigid and stubborn.

This is the best video i have seen on OCPD.
Wow... I have been learning a lot lately about the different personality types in an effort to help myself get through life without being taken advantage of as I have strong codependent/empathic/SLDD traits. My mother and I are estranged due to her toxicity and I have been trying to learn more so I can understand her. I simply skipped over OCPD as the name/title just didn't sound like it would be anywhere close. But, low and behold, she exhibits several OCPD traits. Thank you for the video and information. Would love to learn more about this subject.

Thank you. How does one cope with a partner/husband to suffers from OCPD. I have found that he can intellectualise his personality traits but cannot change or try to even compromise. Do you have any ideas?
sir many of these r similar to me. What can i do? Im continuously working for last 7 days and night on a book i need rest but i cant stop myself as if i have2 as soon as possible only then i can take rest. may b Im under cptsd
