    You should be paid by Agean for this video! I just ordered this set based on this video (and a bunch of reviews …. but mainly this!) Thanks for taking the time to do it!

    Hi! I'm just got my hands on a TM6 pro module and have another set of the Agean R's on the way... this time trying the natural finish ones. Can you help me with what sounds you chose in the module to pull your drum sound? Did you layer samples as well? It really is a tight fabulous drum sound ws well.

    Hi. Can you share your snare/kick/tom’s module settings as I have just converted my Y-HA Stage Custom to a hybrid set using the RT family and TM-6 Pro + Remo Silent Stroke and can’t achieve such a great dynamic and sound as your one. Can you help please? Many thanks!

      Do you use these cymbals with an acoustic set? I'm looking to play with acoustic in sound damped room. (With slightly damped toms) Thank you.

      @@user-zt1er1uj6i Hey ! They are nowhere near silent but definitely not as loud as regular ones and they work great with or without mic's cause they'are Still b20 bronze. I would Say they are in the middle between the zildjan l80 and regular cymbals. Best "mid-volume" cymbals feel to me (they open so smoothly) but that won't work if you have angry neighbors 👌

      @@user-zt1er1uj6i Indeed. I forgot to mention that I've played these with both electric and acoustic kit (that's what you asked for first🙄) but now I only use them for rehearsals and gigs with the acoustic one because, again, they're not that silent. Anyways there's less harsh sound from cymbals, the band is happy...so am I.

    So how does the overall volume compare to standard cymbals? Could this be considered a legit replacement for regular cymbals at small gigs (churches for example) where volume is an issue?

    Man that sounds really good! Do you think that set up would work in a live situation playing with a band in a small venue? I'm considering that option at the moment. Does the mics get much bleed from the mesh head noise? Would you get away playing live without miking the cymbals?

    • @felipedromundo8861
      @felipedromundo8861 4 года назад +2

      Hi, I have the Jazz hats from Agean. To your questions: There is almost no bleed from the mesh head noise, because they almost produce any. I use the double layered on snare and floor tom and single layer on tom toms.
      Playing live without mikes? no way! These are low volume/practice cymbals. Yes, you can use them in small venues, but always with mics. Hope that helps.

    I was trying to get a context of how loud the cymbals are. Are your drum heads mesh, or acoustical? I am asking to get a point of reference to see how loud the actual kit is in relation to the cymbals

      @@deanerondrums which ones dude ?

    • @deanerondrums
      @deanerondrums 3 месяца назад

      @@Bluem00n7 pretty sure they are the One Shot samples - USER SAMPLE list - T1-T5 (samples 260-265 in the list). Not much nuance in them but if layered with mic'd toms they sound killer. Watch out for the lo freq of your bass player with your kicks ...don't muddy up the mix. Carve your frequencies out with the pitch control if necessary!
      Also, use layer B on kicks and cycle through some to see the effect in the mains. Dial back on the Decay on kicks and toms to somewhere between 55-65. Not too long not too short.
