All those hands at the horses face, if that horse had stepped forward more than one of them could have been hurt. Demarcation lines need to be set around the horse boxes. I don’t know about the guards but I’ll be extremely glad when the school holidays are over, I find watching this scrum very uncomfortable at times.

The rules and regulations come from people much, much higher up than the guards and obviously there is no rule against tourists touching the horses. Until and unless this changes the guards cannot make the tourists stop touching the horses. I’m 100% sure that the guards don’t enjoy it either but it’s not their decision unfortunately.

Do you really think the guards are happy with all the touching and crowding? Do you really think they want all this? They have no choice. Surely you know that the military - in every country - is so well trained because of the discipline instilled throughout? That happens because everyone knows they must follow orders whether they agree with them or not, especially in the lower ranks.

Most horses including Arnie are very tolerant of small children but adults are another matter, the guards are not to blame in any way. Yet another man who can speak and understand English well yet despite the don't touch the reins sign did it anyway and decided photo done to say sorry. So he got what he wanted a photo with him in control of a Kings Horse. The Guard I think said the horse is excited as he tried to kick the arm away and pull the reins away that guy knew what he was doing and it was totally disrespectful well at least he is on the wall of shame in a video. Ty mate for the work.

It’s not a petting zoo. I understand this may be the only time some have been this close to a horse but enough is enough.

Oh, he says sorry? He clearly looked very perturbed when the guard pulled the bridle out of his hand before the picture was snapped. Then he says sorry because he KNEW he wasn’t supposed to do that. Just crappy and disrespectful behaviour. You can tell when they KNOW they aren’t supposed to do that.

There needs to be line painted on the floor to keep people away from the horse and guard at all times, horses are very strong in body and mind if they take a dislike its shown.

I don’t. Tongue lolling is usually a sign of a sore mouth, uncomfortable bit, or dental problem. Not usually a good sign.

New sign, Respect the Guard. Do not touch the horse. Don't like when people laugh at the horse. Obviously they know nothing about animals. There are people pushing the horse. This chaos has to stop. I wish I was there to shout at those tourists.

Do you not think it could be the fault of the people much higher up than the guard who decided to have a rule allowing the tourists to touch the horses. Why would you blame the guard for following orders?

Just a thought. Wherever these tourists shack up, stay or lay their weary no brainer heads, there should be information in every language, to inform them not to maul, over crowd or grab the reigns of the horse guards.
