These are awesome. Got one for each my kids and a couple neighbours who have pets and/or small children. Then don't have to spray chemicals around the house. Or around food at a picnic. My son-in-law will often send me video of him taking something out. I recommend getting the laser sight instead of the fibre optic sights. Handy when you have to reach (eg. a high ceiling) and can't get a good sight picture to aim. Here in Canada, the one with fibre optic sights is about $10 more than the base model. But for $25 you can get the laser sight to add to the base model and it's much more effective.
I enjoy reading stories like yours, so glad it's working so well for you all too. I will certainly consider the laser for our next one. Ours are hung up during these cooler times as the bugs and flies are gone, for now. No doubt the salt guns will be back in use the moment the first fly shows its pesky face. Cheers.
I'm glad you liked the sand wasp part! It was a fun segment to film. Due to popular demand we will do a video dedicated to the Sand Wasp when they return next season.
Maybe the flies just really like my content! March flies arrive every summer, last summer we were unfortunate enough to have had a freak plague of them. usually they hang around for 3 - 4 weeks and then buzz off.
Nice for outside but not inside . . . your floor will be crunchy from salt grain in no time. Inside I use rubber bands or an airgun with a paper wad. 😁
Thanks for sharing your method! It's always good to have options for dealing with pests. In our old shack, the salt on the floor is the least of our problems.

The sand wasp was the best thing in the whole video!
