Where are you? Pineapples? Cherries? Avos? Strange bedfellows
Oohhh loquat, lucky lad.
You know, I think the avocados are forming a union with the cherries to overthrow the pineapples! It's a fruity coup! We are in Far North Queensland.
Brilliant explanation ThankYou. The offset for fencing idea was perf ! 🦘✌️
Glad it was helpful! 🤠
Good onya skippy, another trick I have used is to roll your pipe out, outside the trench, fill with water and cap the ends then the pipe will sit in the bottom of the trench easily.
Living in Central West qld I would love this just needs a creek in the back.
There is a creek down behind the old miners shack, just hard to see. We count ourselves blessed. Below is a shorts link of the creek during the last wet season and second link at start is filmed in the creek gully. Thanks for tuning in. ruclips.net/user/shortsqJ1lhQR7v2k ruclips.net/video/VIXdNjGXHDU/видео.htmlsi=aNhCLoxG2Dz6gXJk
Its good that animals learn quicker than human
Totally agree! Animals are quick learners for sure.
My guy…you are literally dumber than a cow. That’s more zaps than a cow gets in a lifetime. Calf birth to steak on the plate
Looks like I need to beef up my content and steer clear of electric fences!
Dumber than my cattle
I herd what you said and I'd like to round up with, Maybe your cattle are secretly geniuses! Or was that a misteak!
6000 volts would kill you instantly, that’s probably 120 or 240 volts
Tazers are thousands of volts. Its not the volts that kill you its the amps. Voltage in almost more of a pain meter. 120volts is like a tingling sensation. 9,000 volts is painful.
Source: my imagination
@kadejensen7711 youre delusional. Learn more about electricity, its the amps that kills you. Not the vaults. But this video is cap. 🤣
The amperage is low
bro really said source: trust me bro
Cap
no cap
I don't get the lingo but guessing you don't believe I got zapped so many times or that the fence had those volts? As I commented above. I might do a video of me getting zapped while the volt meter is connected. 50k views of this video and I will definitely do it.
Thanks for tuning in, no cap!
@@WildOzSteading Cap means lie, No cap means not lying. Dont worry I am gonna have to start looking stuff up when my kids get older.
Ah, then it's no cap. Thanks for the clarification on "cap" and "no cap"!
I watched this 5 times 😂 there is no better tester than a kid with wet fingers 😂
Thank you for watching the video. Was electrifying to make, it amped up the weekend, pardon the pun.
@WildOzSteading I dont think it's enough power! Ya didn't learn nothin.
More Power! Argh, argh, argh.
Zstfst
These are awesome. Got one for each my kids and a couple neighbours who have pets and/or small children. Then don't have to spray chemicals around the house. Or around food at a picnic. My son-in-law will often send me video of him taking something out. I recommend getting the laser sight instead of the fibre optic sights. Handy when you have to reach (eg. a high ceiling) and can't get a good sight picture to aim. Here in Canada, the one with fibre optic sights is about $10 more than the base model. But for $25 you can get the laser sight to add to the base model and it's much more effective.
I enjoy reading stories like yours, so glad it's working so well for you all too. I will certainly consider the laser for our next one. Ours are hung up during these cooler times as the bugs and flies are gone, for now. No doubt the salt guns will be back in use the moment the first fly shows its pesky face. Cheers.
Y use have so many flies anyway
Maybe the flies just really like my content! March flies arrive every summer, last summer we were unfortunate enough to have had a freak plague of them. usually they hang around for 3 - 4 weeks and then buzz off.
no wonder theres no bite , its gutless . 38cc lol get real.
Awesome right! Did everything I needed without trying to rip my arms off. Go the mighty 4 stroke post hole digger. Plus being 38cc it's frugal!
Very good comments Cheers
so was the 300mm any good in your soil....Looked hard work....is it hard on the back? need to dig some deep holes for retaining wall posts in similar ground and would it be harder with extension shaft attached?
Well so far 13 x at over 600mm deep plus 4 400mm deep holes for tress have been bored with this 300mm auger. Currently awaiting delivery of new replacement blades as the original ones are beyond sharpening. Yes it has been hard and the back feels it (not that my back is in the best condition). Remember it's about 20Kg to lift with soil on the auger and that is half the strain. Re extension bar: personally I would only use it if digging deeper than 600mm. The hardest part is using the heavy pry-bar to jimmy rocks loose whenever you hit one. With 2 people it would be so much easier. I recommend finding a buddy and teaming up. For us we can't afford $500 for a machine, that money will come in handy later, so worth it for that saving. If I could afford to hire a machine just for digging the holes I would have. All the best with the retaining wall (I did 70m of that and it was easier than this as it was mostly clay then). P.S. I used the concrete sleepers and steel posts for our retaining wall and it looked a million bucks even 3 years later when we sold.
If you haven't seen this video, check it out. Will give you some idea on how hard it is to use 300mm auger in this rocky and clay mixed ground. ruclips.net/video/pGruru5LV60/видео.html
Thanks so much for the review. I'm actually about to buy one now based on your review.
That's awesome to hear! I hope you enjoy your new purchase. FYI, It's still driving star and pipe posts no problems.
Bloody Marvellous...
Thanks bloke. Bloody good fun still.
Great review. Had my eye on one of these for a while now… I’ll definitely be buying one for the next project.
So happy to hear you found the review helpful! Let me know how your project turns out with the new Post driver.
All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares
I like it. Somewhere out there I heard a brain cell pop!
"Your technically right, which is the best kind of right"
Haha, too right.
lol 😂
I made some "hungry" boards/sides for mine to double the volume when moving mulch. Some old pallets and timber I had laying around did the trick
That's a great idea, using old pallets and timber to double the volume of your wheelbarrow is genius! Thanks for the tip!
Now that’s a great tool.
Definitely a game-changer, just like my morning coffee!
Nice for outside but not inside . . . your floor will be crunchy from salt grain in no time. Inside I use rubber bands or an airgun with a paper wad. 😁
Thanks for sharing your method! It's always good to have options for dealing with pests. In our old shack, the salt on the floor is the least of our problems.
What do you mean about the rubber bands
The sand wasp was the best thing in the whole video!
I'm glad you liked the sand wasp part! It was a fun segment to film. Due to popular demand we will do a video dedicated to the Sand Wasp when they return next season.
Double tap on the bastard :) Great review mate
Haha, I'll make sure to double tap on that bastard for you! Thanks for watching!
Fuck knows. Hope this helps.
Well, so far we have the 2 most accurate answers.
The older Polaris 500 is the most reliable machine Polaris ever made. When I bought my '07 it was used for trail riding and had just over 5000miles on it, I have since used it as a workhorse towing a 4x6ft trailer loaded with a third of a cord of firewood and in the winter its on plow duty. It has well over 7000miles on it now and no issues, I just do the basic maintenance.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Your advice on maintenance is spot on, as with any equipment. Were you lucky and got a good one? Or is it the fact that the ones Alvie and kicking now, we're maintained to a higher standard?
@@WildOzSteading Single cylinder engines generally last longer than twins, less moving parts makes them more reliable. ruclips.net/video/w_vPHA5BSQo/видео.html
FYI I just got the display going and ours has similar mileage to yours, 6550 Miles. Not bad at all.
Get it in!
Bloody oath mate. We are chuffed.
Hi mate. I’ve got a water tank 50 metres from the house. Can I berry the water hose in the ground to the house? Tks
As long as you can dig, I can't see why not. Burying water pipes is the smarter way in my opinion. Water stays cooler and protects the pipe from damage and fire. That's why I buried ours.
Thank you for your fast respond
Polaris are pieces of junk !!! Plain and simple
See, they are like Land Rover. People either love em or hate em.
The old Polaris 500 has a Fuji engine built in Japan, its bulletproof. The newer machines are no good.
@@timberray9572 Thank you for that information. 👍
junk
See like a Land Rover, a real love em or hate em quad.
Now after watching your vid, lol that was your point.. Well done mate.
Haha, glad you caught on! Thanks for watching, buddy!
The Land Rover of quads? You sure you want to say that? Land Rovers are notorious for braking down.
Good catch! They are as comfy as a Land Rover and similar when it comes to reliability. I thought it was a good analogy to help people understand this Polaris models.
I think your spellcheck is broke.
It’s on the mid north coast nsw and in the last 4 months we’ve had enough rain to fill 3 tanks equivalent to 100,000lt and hopefully this last tank will hold the rest and should put us at 130,000 so were doing great now 😊
That's awesome!
Just watch how much water it’s using I ended up not using mine and getting my other one out of storage that used less water and around the same power (little more)
Glad you have another machine that uses less water. It's why we mentioned water consumption, as that can be a deal breaker for some. It's all about finding that perfect balance.
What you drivin?
A GWM Cannon.
The slow motion shot was a work of art
Mate, I'm stoked that you liked the slow motion shot! It was so much fun to film and edit.
