Joe: Thank you for watching GameSack.
Everyone: Thank YOU for capturing, recording, writing, editing, and uploading GameSack! 👍👍👍
And listing the song credits!
@@Michael.Hunt.14-52 😁👏
And creating game sack
If you plug the multi adapter into the ps2 while playing qaurlet, you’ll unlock the original 4 player arcade game.
Damn I think I even have one of those!
What the!?! Reggie dropping the knowledge!
@@RetroGamePlayers 🧐+🤓= 😎
REGGIIEEEE! 🤯🤯🤯
@@lady1kaka props for the Archer reference
In the Japanese Saturn version of Fighting Vipers you can actually unlock Pepsiman as a playable fighter.
Pepsimaaaaan
Wow I literally just watched part 1 and reloaded my RUclips and here's part 2. You are the man.
Joe dressed up as Metal Jesus was the best thing in this video.
There’s an old episode with Dave and Joe where they reference a lot of other RUclips game reviewers in a satirical way.
It was actually Metal Joe Rocks
Hidden gems
@@MGForums He often dresses like him. I think he likes his beautiful long hair :-)
7:57 😂 face he's making screams I know I'm being naughty and I like it
Wish they'd bring back a similar line of games. With the success of Streets of Rage 4 and Dragon's Trap remake there's definitely a market for remakes/sequels to old Sega IP's.
There is market for Remake/Sequel but many company than make it more like mess it, Sega also make those mistake remember Golden Axe Beast Rider or Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 while Sonic still survive somehow but Golden Axe have been dead for years now, I still cannot understand why Sega revive Street of Rage I mean yeah it's good beat'em up but Golden Axe is way better coz it's use fantasy setting, great Magic visual when annihilate enemy and the best of all Tyris design from original Golden Axe not that stinky Beast Rider.
I hope they just continue working with external devs on old IP. I'd love to see a new take on Vectorman and Comix Zone.
I'd love to see a Sonic Mania 2.
All will be well soon when either Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft buy Sega-Sammy.
Once again I walk away from another Game Sack episode wanting to quit my job and devote myself full time to gaming. Always love when you look at remakes and compilations so these last two episodes have been a real treat.
I laughed a little too hard at "It has graphics that will kill you."
I swear, this has always been & is still to this day my favorite gaming channel on RUclips. Please never stop doing what you do Joe!
That was fantastic coverage, of this complete series. Some I have never seen, nor played before. What a ride.
Maybe it's just me, but I really would love for Game Sack to just continue with all of the SEGA AGES games to the present. I am loving these! I know he'll do the Switch games too and I'm glad, but these have been such a great weekly treat! I'm surprised Sonic was never in these collections before the Switch.
I _did_ watch part 1. Hope you’re in good spirits!
That thumbnail just made me realize how dope the PS2 would be as a table.
Perfect for placing your Sega Dreamcast on.
No, really. Sega put out an ad for the PS2 advertising it as a perfect platform to set your Sega Dreamcast on.
I'm really happy to have seen all the entire SEGA Ages collection for PS2 that I requested when you did the ones on Saturn =) Keep it up, Joe!
An extra Gamesack episode is like an early Christmas present....
Speaking of Christmas presents, i think i speak for all of us when i ask if you would kindly see if Dave has some time in December to make a cameo in one of your videos? Perhaps during the end skit dressed as santa?
Joe in a onesie waiting on santa only to find santa playing one of his game systems instead of delivering gifts...
Man! Joe! Your videos get better and better each time! This was a nice Sunday surprise. Game Sack Forever!!
Every new Game Sack episode brings a smile to my face.
Fart sound of the PS2 optical sled pushing the controller as a failed scene had me cracking up!
a great Sunday afternoon won't be perfect without a new episode of Game Sack.
Man the first few minutes of watching this episode makes me want a cold and refreshing Pepsi. Weird.
It's like people only do things because they get paid, and that's just really sad
Does the Pepsi truck follow the camera to stay in view?
Pepsiman is a hidden character in the Japanese saturn version. :)
Pepsi and pizza
For those interested in the Fantasy Zone II remake, its on 3DS via digitally on EShop or physically in the Sega 3D Classics Collection. It's probably the best 3D Classic series Sega game on the 3DS.
Thank you for covering this. This was awesome.
So happy to see more game sack! Thanks for making my night Joe.

HEAD ON: APPLY DIRECTLY TO FOREHEAD
Enjoyed it, I have played a decent amount of the games covered. These collections are good from a preservation standpoint too
Thank you so much for these shows. My son and I look forward to them so much. Respect!
Thank you so much for your hard work we've been waiting ❤️
Sega actually released a limited number of Fantasy Zone 2 DX arcade boards in Japan. So naturally you can find a Mame bootleg of this for a home cab too!
I love when I think the day is over and suddenly I'm graced with a Gamesack video :)
Another great episode, thank you!
Damn I had no idea about that “M2 porting master system fantasy zone 2 to system 16, and vastly improved hella details and mechanics”
I hate 80’s shmups …., but I love Fantasy Zone.
And will definitely plop Vol.23 (for tranquilizer gun remake) and Vol. 33 (for Fantasy Zone 2 DX) to the PS2 I’m finally getting around to mod !
Thanks so much Joe ! Few RUclipsrs are more comprehensive and likable !
Really great episodes sir. Awesome to hear about the history of these games.
wonderful reviews, I did NOT expect them to end on such a must-get high!
Global Defense on the Master System! Awesome game, was coincidentally playing it right before watching this video.
Oh man, that "hidden gem" metal jesus reference made me lol
My Sunday just became much better!! ❤️
Also I used to play fighting vipers a lot , just to break the armor lol
Thanks! It was really great to see! I grew up with master system and “mega drive” here in New Zealand, wonder boy and gain ground among favs! Cheers
Thanks a lot!! Like the M2, your efforts for these two videos are super commendable!! 👍👍😎
Two years later, the Galaxy Force bit is still hilarious. "Master System version... Wow! It has graphics that will kill you!" lol. The bird bath bit is great too.
This is why I love this channel, everyone and their mom are making videos about the PS5 and de series X but here we have a second part of the sega 2500 collection!!!! Love your work Joe!!!!
There was an arcade next to a pet store in a mall in Calgary that my brother an I would often stop by when our family went up there on shopping expeditions. The game that always held our attention was Virtua On. It was the bomb, and the fact that you controlled giant robots with two joysticks was awesome.
These episodes have been a lot of fun.
Thanks Sack for doing this.
Hardworking as always! You're the man, Joe boy!
I'm enamored by the Sega ages collection. Thank you for the showcase!
REVIEWS FROM THE TOILET: The Handheld Series. I think you've discovered a new series for your show. Awesome videos on the Sega Ages 2500. Game Sack forever.
greatest closing skit of game sack history
Thanks for doing this!!!
oh yeah been waiting on this upload
The fact that the PS2 version is arcade perfect is AMAZING! I just ordered my copy off eBay yesterday lol pay a pretty penny but soo worth it, I’ve always wanted the arcade perfect model 2 version at home and now I do! ❤️❤️❤️
Great video. I need my weekly fix of Game sack.
Joe Rules! Keep this channel alive!
gamesack keeping me up as usual
Wait? This is a double whammy episode. Not only part 2 of Sega Ages on PS2, but also another "Left in Japan" bonus episode.
Nice sack, joe. I look forward to seeing the next sack
It’s funny how Retro Core just came out with a video about Sega Ages 2500 for PS2 as well. Just a coincidence I guess...
Who?
Its 1AM where I'm at. Heck yeah ill wake up to watch a new game sack.
"graphics that will kill you!"🤣love it
I had no idea there were so many of these released with such interesting remakes and oddities. In Australia all we got was a collection with 8 of the early 3d remakes. Always appreciate how polished and insightful these are Joe!
I miss Dave. Please play with him and sacks occasionally.
Great video, Joe! You may have not noticed it, but t's actually possible to speed up the battles in Phantasy Star II by making the monsters appear instantly on screen and also by holding X (if I'm not mistaken) while you and the monsters are attacking to speed up the battle considerably. There are also speed boosts for walking which makes games like Phantasy Star III much more pleasant to play. And about Fantasy Zone II DX, fighting more bosses on the light side leads to a bad ending, so fighting at least most of them on the dark side is a better idea. There are 3 different endings for the game.
I think Joe was TRYING to trigger people with some of the Tetris skills.
...
I approve. LOL
This collection is pretty unique, I'm only missing a few of the the set, but the binder thing to display the covers is cool too. I only have a few of those.
🤓
Great episode, Joe!
Pretty badass releasing a new episode 2 weeks in a row.
3 weeks, potentially.
I loved die hard arcade..i remember playing it at fantasy skate away.. a roller rink good times fond memories
I’ve never played Sega Ages and probably never will, but damn damn those 2 episodes were a lot of fun to watch! 😊
Loved seeing you dressed as Metal Jesus 🤣
cannot get more japanese than that ending skit! Amazing work about a series I love but never thought it existed!! I started playing PS2 in 2012 but thanks to your channel I enjoyed a lot of great games for it. I guess I'm not done yet!
Before I saw the hidden gems jokes on this channel I had no idea about metal jesus.Been subscribed about a year now.
Kudos to you both
The MJR hidden gem joke was great
I forgot about how much I love Virtual On. Its a rare game now. Thank god for emulation.
Region-locking aside..... I feel like the 3D Classics line Sega/M2 did for 3DS makes me so much less likely to actually track a fair number of these releases down. There's also that Monster Boy collection for X360.
Keep up the great work!!
It was interesting serie. Thank you
Great job keep it up!
Another episode, GREAT!
I almost cried because of Joe using Dezoris Town theme at 23:00
Joe, YOU'RE a hidden gem.
That metal jesus cosplay was the stuff xD
It’s amazing what Japan got that we missed out on... thanks for the video Joe!
you are the man! GAMESACK 4 EVER. awooooooooo!
Wow Joe, just discovered you and you're fantastic! Instantly one of my new favourite RUclips channels, I also LOVE how you play captured footage with just the music / sound effects briefly after each game review / commentary (I'm sure you heard that before). Enough compliments! This is getting awkward, hahaha :P.
My roller skating rink had Fighting Vipers and I always assumed it was a poor man’s Virtua Fighter.
Wow... thanks Joe! I had no idea so of these were even available on the PS2. Looks like I’ve got a couple more games to collect. God, I love this system.
Awesome overview, thanks!
‘Hidden gem’ & ‘holy grail’ retro gaming terms that need to be left behind in 2020 like COVID ✊
lol why though when they are hidden gems and highly sought out by Retro gaming enthusiasts?
7:58... You Rock!
There's no english language arcade version of Monster Land in the collection because Sega never released it outside of Japan. The common english versions of the game are in fact bootleg boards (usually from Spain). It was so widely spread that the home computer versions for Amiga and such are even based on a bootleg board!
The official english version was made for the Wii Virtual Console a few years after the Sega Ages collection.
The home version was released in the USA. I got it for Christmas back then. It's in all of Sega of America's official marketing. Not from Spain. And that's the one I'm taking about not having an English version on this disc. You can't play the home version in English here.
Hidden Gem "cameo" was worth the wait!
Made my day!
awesome video!
Nice throw COURY!!!!!
* this was a great series you did really enjoyed it
That cameo! *chef kiss*
Personally really surprised the panzer dragoon disk only runs at 240p, but i guess that’s modern texture filtering for you. Good work as always!
I don't know why but I just can't help myself watching the video how someone else plays and listening his funny comments :D
Man just hearing that Panzer Dragoon music gives me shivers. Time to fire up my Saturn again. What a fantastic game with one of the best soundtracks ever.
Man, so many memories with the Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box
Well thats a lot of awesomeness!
Nothing in this world is certain except for on Sundays I will be enjoying me some game sack.
