I fingerboarded back in the days. You were on the riggt track but the material isnt optimal. Usually u use cement or wood eith steel elements. Thats because u press down on the board when performing tricks so u need durable material. Would be nice to see u do a high quality skate park and mayve invite some professional fingerboarder to test it out.
@Jazza I’m sure you won’t be able reply and I’m totally ok but I would just like some help with something, I had been saving up my money for around 3 years and my mum let me buy the kit! I ordered on the 16th of December or the 9th of December would this mean I would get it before Christmas? Sorry with the mixed times everything is just blending together I can’t wait to experiment in the Aussie school holidays
As an experienced Fingerboarder, this park build was actually very impressive with a great design! It would be epic to see you customize a “Pro Fingerboard” worth $100+ sometime in the future!
As a skateboarder myself I just wanted to say if this has a lot of stuff many skateparks lack and is really diverse and creative. One suggestion though would be adding coping to the edges of the more rounded ramps like the pool and the half pipe. Other than that very true to a skatepark and well done!
i agree i used to skateboard and the coping is the pipes across the top that let you drop in the halfpipe and adding that would make it more realistic but it looks awesome.
It’s weird to think I’ve watched Jazza since he had his very first office, And the days he made custom characters. He deserves everything he has now, Idk if Jazza will ever see this but thanks for my childhood.
I would love to see someone with some serious skills shed this park up and see how well the park holds up -> It would make this build even better/ informative
I love this video❤ WE NEED MORE JAZZA 🎉 Make this a fun series as you continue to get better at finger boarding! Also you could incorporate resins for fulls bowls and pounds aswell including realistic trees and surrounding environment!
Ahhh the memories of Finger skating I had to make a sculpture for college and chose a skatepark (fun shapes), I told my classmates to graffiti whatever they wanted while I finished the railings
That’s cool. My friend and I made fingerboards outta layers of balsa wood and Micro Machine wheels and a skatepark for a project in junior high. Teacher said it was cool but doubted that something like that would be marketable. Couple years later fingerboards were in every toy store. 🤣
@@shay2833 that’s cool. I looked it up and an article said they were brought to market in the late ‘90’s. I was in junior high in early to mid 90’s. Graduated HS in 2000 so the time period fits. @@anitacrumbly it wasn’t my teacher but Tech Decks came out in the late 90’s. It was an 8th grade project so that would be ‘95-‘96 school year. Maybe we came up with the idea around the same time. It’s definitely interesting though.
OMG this is one of the coolest projects I've seen so far!! I would 100% buy the skatepark and cruise around with my little finger skateboards! It's just so awesome and it looks so real as well!! I'm a big fan of this!
Its good for people to step out of their comfort zone because its a fresh set of eyes for the enthusiast. I've been playing with finger skateboards for 20 years! This thing came out really nice. Some parts might be too weak BUT the way some parts were made is really genius. I would totally enjoy this thing 🤍✌️🛹
The authentic dope skate video at the end makes up for any lack of fingerboard skills -> I love this project idea and the execution is amazing! - I want to go make one - from a 30 year old who picked up finger boards again after not being good as a kid
never thought id see so many of my passions in one video. skating, art, jazza - its a shame to think that this incredible park is going to go unused when it has so much potential to be used for so many hours and is so well done. anyways, im a long time watcher and have never commented but this one deserved some extra love - keep it up man.
The skater Lance Mountain invented tech decks. He now makes coffee tables with empty pools under the glass top. They are incredible, you should look at them at make something similar
As a skater, finger skater and "artist" this is pretty cool. I like the 90's skate logos. The action shots were cringe and hard to watch though lol. Looks like a fun park to skate in real life or with the finger board. IRL the big stair set you wouldn't have enough room to push so you could really only air out of the half pipe to hit those stairs. The other stairs are a little to close to the big half pipe to hit with the fingers, but I assume the half pipe is removeable? Also most of the premade teck deck parks the rails are made of some sort of metal or durable plastic. I think a real fingerboarder would literally destroy this park, could be a fun video? This is sick though, love the artwork 😎🤘
This honestly blew my mind a bit. I’m surprised at how incredible that it looks like concrete but it’s literally plaster and foam! 😮 that’s crazy! I grew up in that skateboard era and this would have been the coolest thing to skate on. I grew up with San Jose so big shout to all the Cali skaters but man this would have been sweet
This has come just in time for me as my lad is getting into skateboarding and had tech deck stuff for Xmas... The old coffee table is crying out for a skatepark refurb, never thought to use foam! The park looks great, remember, it's about the fun you have with it rather than the skill lol
Dave graffitiing Splatoon onto this skatepark makes me VERY happy. Really reminds me of Blackbelly Skatepark from the first game, though I suppose perhaps it's more inspired by the second game with the neon green and pink color scheme.
This brought back so many childhood memories.. I use to skate when I was younger and it was some of my happiest times.. would've loved to have one of these
The first thing we'll find on an alien planet is evidence of the graffiti 's' lol no matter where you are in the world, you just know how to draw that 's'
It looks great, the only thing I would suggest, is spacing out and widen the obstacles so that there’s more room for launch off points and transition points. You had the right idea though using the board for the dimensions, just give the the board room the roll around.
Never heard of you or your channel. I am a sponsored fingerboarder and allow me to say I am beyond impressed with this park. It’s crazy that someone with little fb experience (and I’m sure very little knowledge of other fb obstacles and parks) but with a lot of creative ability can make an A1 park like you did. My advice would be to scale up your banks and rails and to use actual metal for them as it’d be a lot easier to grind/slide on. And for the actual fb itself, learn the basic Ollie first. It’s the base of all tricks. Put two fingers on the board and quickly move it backwards the press one finger on the tail and quickly move your hand forward. But regardless, hats off to you.
Just thought of a trick, if you had kept the curved cut outs for the halfpipe you could have sandwiched the balsa wood in between those two parts and clamped it together to get a really good even clamp... Love this though. I made a figure board park when I was a kid and it definitely didn't look like this, would've loved this back then. Would love it now 😁
Hi Jazza! Mod podge happens to flake over time. At least that's what happens on custom action figures. A customizer I know a work of uses mr super clear matt. Though I think any polyurethane varnish can work.
My biggest critique is the halfpipe. If you look at images of real vert ramps, there's always a decent portion of flatground at the bottom of the transition, whereas your halfpipe goes straight from one transition to the other, which would be really uncomfortable to skate IRL

If I'm not mistaken, did they not make skate park sets for tech decks? Maybe not proprietary but 3rd party? Idk, maybe I'm hallucinating.

getting everyone to chip in was such a good idea! the skatepark looks sick!
If he sold the plain concrete version of the skate park and add it to the customize kit in the future I would buy it in a heartbeat
The tiny skateboards remind me of middle school, so many kids would be doing tricks on the play ground.
Kid me is screaming in joy right now. Really cool.
Mad respect to whoever put in the Blind logo
