Totally agree, I do love everything Cyberpunk, but its never enough. It always leaves me wanting more. I understand why, its supposed to represent "life is short," but ill be damned I just want more. Good Video my friend, keep it up.

Thanks for watching and thanks for your help! Yeah I get that too, I really wanted to know more about Rebecca and Pilar and see more of David and Maine's decent into madness.

Little late here but 2 things to note for you. Maine didn't kill Dorio, but she was killed because she was distracted snapping him out of cyberpsyco. Also Lucy didn't leave the group because of her past or ptsd. She was busy hunting down the Arasaka runners who were after the data on David that she corrupted from Tanaka

Well, I guess I better go back and rewatch it haha. Thanks for the heads up!

@@WorkInProgressslo it's really sad as lucy started netrunning again just to make sure the corps didn't find out how compatible David was with cyberware. She experienced firsthand what lengths corps go to use people for their own progress.

I felt like the show probably needed 2-3 more episodes for characters like Kiwi, Dorio and a bit more of Maine, I would like to also think that the whole music video edgerunners is canon to the show and we seen that Maine gave Sasha's gun to David.

For V's issue on the amount of cyberware has an excuse his already dead and his brain is being taken over by Silverhand. So technically even if there is a mechanic in the game of cyberpsychosis the engram is already reprogramming his brain regardless.

Oh okay, I guess I hadn't thought about it that way.

5:08 partly more tech but they also explained it had to do with ones psychological state. Many cyberpsychosis cases in the game also have lore around very bad things happening to people. You also have some sick ones where the cyberfanatics implant a normal human with 80% cybernetics at once just to wait what would happen (the answer is obvious). The devs talked the cyberpsychosis away by throwing it on the double persona chip of johnny silverhand. Seeing how strange the chip is and how impressed a specialist was about what the chip did in V's head we can only assume noone expected the outcome but it would certainly be a case of research if they could get their hands on V. Just imagine someone with that personality chip being able to chip his body 150% (maybe somehow multiple persona's to create a larger buffer against cyberpsychosis).

I know somebody already explained why V doesn’t get cyberpsychosis, but I’ll just reiterate it again for any in the audience at least who don’t know. Mike Pondsmith, the creator of Cyberpunk, basically explained that V doesn’t get cyberpsychosis because V has the consciousness of Johnny Silverhand embedded into the brain. This counteracts the side effects of cyberpsychosis that one would normally get from being so heavily modded because having these two conscious minds in one body together keeps one mind from getting completely pulled away from reality, since getting one’s mind pulled away from reality is ordinarily what happens when one has cyberpsychosis.
Mike Pondsmith also explained that part of what makes some people more susceptible to getting cyberpsychosis compared to others is based off of one’s empathy and capacity to continue feeling human emotions. He explained that at the start of the anime, David would have had a very high “Humanity” stat on his character sheet. Essentially, David may have been a bit abnormal compared to others for his physical tolerance to mods, but that wasn’t truly what made David’s tolerance so strong. Ultimately, it was David’s capacity to feel for others and emotional connections to those around him that made him able to handle the mods better than most.
You’ll notice that Maine was able to get pulled out of cyberpsychosis by Dorio and David in the anime. This was because of the emotional bonds that Maine shared for both of them that allowed them to be capable of bringing him back to reality. For David, his emotional connections were his mother, Lucy, Maine, and the rest of the crew acting as his surrogate family that were keeping him sane (Lucy most of all because of how much he loved her). The more that David started losing the people in his life, whether it be from death or them leaving the team, the more that David would start to withdraw within himself. The more he stopped caring, the less humanity he ended up holding onto. The degradation of his psyche was only making David become more susceptible to cyberpsychosis and him continuing to add more mods to himself definitely wasn’t helping either.

I'd ask for 2 more episodes (maybe set during Episode 4, and another set between 6 and 7)
    - I think Falco deserves a proper introduction. He has non speaking cameos in 3 and 4, but he pops in abruptly into the story. I think he would have an interesting perspective, being that he's a nomad and would have a different set of values than most Night City characters.
    - I'd like to have an episode where you get to see more of David and Lucy being in relationship. You only get to see it a bit in episode 7, and immediately afterwards the story takes a dark turn.

Yeah as much as I love Lucy people (including myself) believed Rebecca was really the best character in the show.

I agree with this analysis, especially with how hard it was to be attached to any of the characters due to how shallow most of them are in development.
Also the community ruined the 'I Wanna Stay At Your House' song, by posting it way too much, diminishing the flavor

Thanks I appreciate it, yeah I want to see more of those characters :(
Yeah I agree about the song, it’s a good song but it’s definitely overplayed now kinda like what happened with that song used in Stranger Things.
