Just a note: I have the S&P500 dividend at 5.24%, which is because I do a manual 4% dividend withdrawal a year for this stock. I mentioned this a few videos back but forgot to mention here. Normally it pays 1.24% dividend 😊.
I use EasyEquities, Trading212 and have used Brokstock. If you want the free R100, you can use the link in the description to try Brokstock. But any of those should be fine 😊

Thank you for the content!! All we need is the right advice on how to invest in crypto and we will be set for life, made $58,000 profit from trading last week regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.
Investing has proven to be an Incredibly beneficial decision. My cryptocurrency profits continue to play a substantial role in growing my overall wealth, reducing my reliance on my salary
Yes I agree with you on that. I was once a holder with about 3BTC, 7ETH and $8000 worth of lite coin but now after investing have about 17BTC and 21 ETH. Glad I got into crypto, talk about a dream job.😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it! One of my favorite videos. If I had to start with anything right now, it would be the S&P500. It's such a great long term share to invest in, and because it contains all of the biggest shares you get to learn a bit about them. That's definitely where I would start, but other than that it could also be one of the property shares at the moment like Realty Income 😊. For some passive income as well.
No problem, I'll chat about it in my next portfolio video 😊. Essentially I think it's great for ETFs like the S&P500 and the Satrix40 etc. But anything you could invest in, it's better to do in the TFSA.
Thank you 😊. But the area is not important, all of those methods and investments apply to anywhere in the world. I haven't invested in SA stocks for about a year and a half. You can apply those methods anywhere and get good results 😊
Thanks for the analysis! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Hey Chris, hope you are well...just one question, all this money is great, but what are the tax implications? There is always tax, tax, tax to consider, so what are your real returns after tax?
Great question. Part of those returns include tax to an extent. The dividends I show are after dividend tax, and if I don't sell my shares I don't pay capital gains tax. The only tax which would apply on dividends and interest is income tax, which is different for each person. But I would definitely rather pay more tax on more income 😊. Perhaps I'll see if I can do a video about tax. But it's a complex topic.
@@CasualCash Thanks Chris, much appreciated, yes I understand its a complicated topic, but SARS seems to make it easy, they just take, take, take 🤣🤣...would be cool to get more info on taxes though, also what the tax implications are on foreign share divs.
I do not understand the dividend percentages and the total below it, should the total not be the sum of all the percentages? For UK stocks, should it not be total 20.15% yield? Why is it 4.64%?
Great question, so basically the dividend yield is a percentage of the total. So if I have 3 stocks of R100 each, and each stock pays R10 or 10%. Then that means in total I have R300 and R30 dividends. Which is still a 10% dividend. So you don't add the dividends together. In the example above, each of the 3 stocks is R10 dividends on R100. But that doesn't mean you have 30% dividends. It means you still have 10% dividends together. I hope that makes sense. So you add the dividends together to get the total dividends, but the percentage yield will always be a percentage of the total. But not added all together 🙂 hope that makes sense
I think it's just natural human behaviour 😂. You have to slowly teach yourself to overcome your impulses and invest with more logic 😂. We've all been there haha.
I invest in the Fairvest B shares. That's the one with the larger dividend and that gave me the growth you saw, so yes definitely the Fairvest B is the better option 😊🙌 It comes down to voting, they created multiple "classes" of shares for who could vote in company affairs or not. Google/Alphabet has something similar 😊
I think you mean Fairvest, there is A and B shares listed on the JSE, I am not sure why they have A and B, maybe Chris can explain, I invest in the B shares as they are cheaper, and the P/E ratio is 0, whereas the A shares have a P/E ratio of about 14 currently, I invest in low P/E ratio, high div yield shares
Started my journey in Jan and you were my guide ❤. My portfolio is looking good and honestly it's thanks to you. Everything is on green on my portfolio 😊. It wasn't the whole year of cos but thanks to your wise words I stuck to it and im now 4 figures in profit 🎉. Let's hope we keep growing together 👊🏽
Your speed of money is low if that is all you are getting for that investment . R 1 466.66 per month in passive income isn`t going to set you free . I would rather use that money and use it as deposit on a buy to let . With that deposit your property will be cash flow positive from the start and if like me , you buy in the right place , you can increase the rent by 10% per annum as well as get tax rebates .
I'm currently using EasyEquities for most of my portfolio, and then Trading212 for a UK portfolio, and Robinhood for my US Tech stocks. But honestly you can get pretty much all of them on EasyEquities or Brokstock 😊
I'm not too sure about that. I think it's only SA, but I can see online some tiktoks about using it from Namibia. But I'm not sure I can trust tiktoks 😄. Sorry I'm not too sure about that.
Let me tell you what nobody is going to tell you. Building wealth has never been a one person’s job especially if you are just starting. One of the best choices you can make for your life at this point is to be able to get someone who believes in your growth and will be willing to help you grow. Big thanks to Larysa Caba. I will always be grateful for everything you did.
That could be true. But it depends when you buy as well. Up until a few months ago it was very much down. But it is something I have been considering to add as a portion of my portfolio, between 2-5%. The new ETFs administered through platforms are something I've been looking at.
Just a note: I have the S&P500 dividend at 5.24%, which is because I do a manual 4% dividend withdrawal a year for this stock. I mentioned this a few videos back but forgot to mention here. Normally it pays 1.24% dividend 😊.

Yes what platform

Though I started with as low as $15,000 actually because it was my first time and it was successful, She's is a great personality in the states
I paid off my $729k 2.625% 15 years loan in 25 months. Started in April 2022 last payment was May 2024.
Now totally debt free with 3 paid off rentals.
The very first time we tried, we invested $2000 and after a week, we received $9500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
Inspiring as always!! What one stock would you start with right now if you were starting again?

Haha that's a great question, but I dont use Binance so I wouldn't know. But usually they will have a FAQ page on how to move over to them 😄
Could you make a short or video on tax free savings accounts please?

I have a similar amount in my portfolio and also made some of the same mistakes 😅
