Awesome trail! Did it last August from the 17 to Sedona in my 2WD taco and had no problems other then 1 drop off that was pretty sketch, probably could have taken a better line lol but the scenery is well worth it. Just an FYI you can camp from the vista to the 17, lots of room and plenty of shade 👍🏼 great video btw 👍🏼

I rode Schnebly Hill right after Overland Expo West (a few years ago when those things were still allowed and covid wasn't a thing) and surprisingly saw very little traffic. I would have assumed that during/after the biggest overlanding expo in the US that the trail would be packed. To my surprise it was nice and empty that day. Even better trail when it's empty.

Oh man, definitely right place, right time. I’m jealous. I’ve never been able to catch it without I bunch of traffic.

@@AdventureBuilt The Grom? Horrible! And I’ll never do it again! LOL! The XJ? Like a dream. Handled it all like a champ. Took on Devil’s Staircase on Broken Arrow Trail today also. Piece of cake. Really impressed with what a stock XJ can do. It has the Upcountry package so that helps with a little extra lift and skid plates underneath. Everyone in all the Pink Jeep tours loved her and kept yelling her name which is on the license plate. Not another older Jeep to be seen today which is a shame. Lots of shiny new Rubicon’s though.

Very nice!!! The trail will more than likely be clear with the exception of a freak snow storm. The snow doesn’t usually stay on the trails for more than a day or so. Good luck. Have a great trip!!!

I did this in an Escort when I was a teenager. But what was a long time ago and things have changed. It's too bad Sedona let it become what it is today. It's a place you shouldn't need a truck to get into or take one of the pink jeep tours.

Hey man, it was amazing. A stock Tacoma could easily make it. Just air down to about 20psi and drive slow when the trail gets bumpy. If you don’t have an air compressor to fill up your tires after the trail don’t worry about airing your tires down. It will just be a bit bumpier ride.
