Boys will be boys.... and when you have a Dad like Paul... youre going to get in some tough spots... and your Dad is going to understand. No matter how grumbly he gets! lol
Yup just be sure to tell him to eat a snickers if he gets to grumpy 😅
@@columbiariverdetailing1943That was a Twix, not a snickers :-p
Payback from his youth!
Guaranteed these boys will never get into anything their daddy hasn't already tried/failed/done.
Landon is more capable as a teenager than 90% of adults. This kid is a beast
I agree. The young man is booming and grooming
He's got a great teacher his dad
Including this oooold adult. 🥴 Great "kid".
YOU DID NOT GROW UP COUNTRY LMAO
I'm one of those adults
You can tell that Paul's ancestors didn't follow the wagon ruts when they came to Utah, they obviously blazed their own path😂😂😂
No. They only bypassed when other people were stuck. Then they helped get them unstuck. AtHEN they blazed a path of getting their selves stuck. Then unstuck. Etc. Lol
It's all part of the learning experience Landon. You have a great teacher in your Dad. Smartest thing to do was to park it until daylight instead of breaking more stuff trying to get out yourself.
lucky kid. I agree with you
Like father like son. Gotta love Lando's misadventures
Great name for his channel - lol
Paul, I really love watching you tutor your kids an teach them about life and lessons, with compassion and kindness. You and Michelle are great parents!
Michelle and Paul, Remember this comment when the trolls come around!
Fact!!!!
Landon seems much more confident behind the camera now which is good to see 👏🏻🤙🏻
I came here to say that (although it's in front of the camera, not behind it). He used to be quite camera shy, but now he says just enough to make a point, which is way better than too many words.
I laughed entirely to hard when Paul got rooster by his own rooster-tail 🤣 y'all made my day! Probly the hardest I've laughed all year...
If all you have to worry about is the kids getting stuck somewhere out 4-wheeling, you all are very fortunant! As you said Paul, Best of intentions. Landon, you and your brothers/sister have an awesome set of parents, don't ever forget that. Great video and recovery. Thank you for sharing
when you both smiled at the same time hitting the sand hill....awesome
Landon looked over at him like "you gonna keep it on the chip all the way up?". Hell yes!
I would be in 4X4 heaven if I lived out there!😊
My Dad couldn't stand my lifted trucks, but still got out of bed every time I got stuck and came and pulled me out.
My step-dad and grandpa were the same way, I tended to use my grampa more tho. Did not care for having to be pulled out by a dodge, it was always a last resort
@@edwardcokley9224 Funny thing was back in the day regardless of the make they could have Dodge/New Process 4 wheel drive systems in them. In the Automotive Beginning Chrysler, Dodge and Company were the suppliers that everyone else got many of their parts from to build cars and trucks until Walter P Chrysler banded them together telling them that since we make most of the parts anyways why not start making the entire vehicle.
Some would be surprised at how many parts in the Ford, GM or AMC products back then came from a Chrysler affiliated supplier.
Best!
We had a buddies Dad who was the go-to when we did stupid things. Mine would have been big-time po'd, his just said something about dumb#&& kids, grabbed his keys and helped us out (even in the overtly illegal situations). I wonder if he didn't secretly enjoy the misadventures.
"If your not breaking stuff, you ain't wheelin" So very true, till you break enough to build it stronger than your right foot !!!
If Landon is going to be rescuing people he def should start recording his adventures, I bet most of us would watch him as he learns the do's and don'ts.
Exactly!
AGREE
That's a fact!
After seeing Rory's video yesterday where he was blasting through all the water spots he had to go through and ruined his motor, its good to see you do it the smart way. Hopefully, Landon took note. He always seems to watch everything you do, absorbing it all. He is definitely your mini-me. I can picture Grayden looking just like him when he gets older.
Yeah, but Rory had so much fun....Until he didn't!😪
Landon is his Daddy's Son. I would expect nothing less than his Can Do Attitude. He got it honestly from being a Cox Family Member. Great Job !
If you’re not breaking stuff, you’re not wheeling. Such a true statement, and now that Landon knows the limits of his front axle, hopefully he’ll be able to avoid problems like this. Live and learn, life is but a game. It helps to have a dad like Paul in your corner.
That's because he's learned from his Dad and has paid attention everytime he's gone out with him. I'm really impressed on how far he went in those conditions.
Great job Landon and Dad!
That FJ is worth its weight in gold . It has to be so very satisfying to have a vehical that you can have so much confidence in . And knowing that it is a creature of your own making ; How proud you must be . You all never disappoint with these adventures ! ❤
Those Rugged Radios are probably a game changer. I put a com system in my snowmobile helmets and it was the best investment ever. I don’t know how I live with out it… kinda feel the same about GPS too. 🤣
Love it when Paul drove up the sand hill no problem and told Landon ‘you gotta get one of these’ 🤣🤣 to funny haha
The cost of a recovery is a Good Pressure Wash ! Thanks for sharing !
How awesome is it that dad's got your back. Ain't nothing better.
I have to admit I loved this video more than most others. The beauty of the trail. Paul's skill, the father son dynamic and the look Landon gave Paul when he went up the sand hill. Just Amazing.
0:57 an excellent example of the road to pain is paved with good intentions
Best of luck buddy
Loved it how Landon smiled when Paul said that he was washing both of the rigs.
Great learning experience for Lando! Not only on wheeling/fixing, but also how to be a good Dad!
I think the fact that a kid is out there wheeling in the desert and not playing video games is freaking awesome !!!! Breaking stuff or not !!! Carry on Landon !!!! 😎
Landon is just like his father - always willing to help a friend in need. 💪👍🏼
A very nice gesture helping your buddy get un-stuck. Landon learned well from his Dad.
It’s a joy watching Paul teach the kids what to do so they can handle anything that comes their way! Landon has come quite a ways so excited to watch him grow to do what his dad has taught him! Great job out there!👍😎👏
One of my favorite fab rats videos so far. Quality father-son time, trucks recovered, and memories made.
Being a Dad with 3 sons (18 to 21) the videos of you and your boys (teachable moments... lol) are some of my favorites.
Man they're all great kids! The entire Fab/Morr/B&M's family are just dang great kids all the way around, they all work and play and learn and get creative and get their hands dirty with outstanding attitudes!
Paul gets this from his Dad having all this patience with his sons four wheeling and playing and breaking things. He gave Landon good advice on the Dana 44 rear end and how not to stress it and break the u joints. The FJ is a very capable recovery vehicle and rock crawler. Good video and pretty scenery!
Landon's an awesome young man with even more awesome parents.
The look on Landons face listening to his Dad crossing the river says it all. lol awesome.
Best father son time I ever seen on youtube! You rock guys!
Lando cant catch a break. Poor Kid! Probably drives like his father though, just sayin!🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂
Landon is getting all the breaks and he's even better at tearing up rigs, blowing up engines, transmissions and rear end housings. It's not for me to say but its getting to be a habit of taxing his dads time, I'd like to see Paul sit this one out and instruct Landon to fix this himself so he can appreciate his dad more for all the hard work and long hours it took for Paul to repair while he's out ripping them up. It will give him something to think about, take on more responsibility
You guys have some good kids! And It's all because of two good parent's. Thanks for the videos! 👍
I wonder if Landon had to pressure wash the back of Paul to get that sand out? 😆 Great lesson for Landon and kudos for him getting his friend out. He's very fortunate to have Paul as his dad! Great video guys! 🤠🧑🦰🌲🌲 🎼
No good deed goes unpunished Landon.
13:15 "...and we'll just ease on out of here..." Lando, you're starting to sound just like your dad. LOL!! Great job y'all.
Never ceases to amaze me that you can drive thru creeks and rivers. Can’t do that around here cause of the salmon fisheries and we don’t have all that flat ground either. Hope Landon learned a valuable lesson here. Wait till daylight to do a recovery. 😉
You're a good dad, Paul. Things happen in life that can really stress you out. You handled that perfectly. Love your channel . Keep the videos coming.
Paul and Michelle, congratulations for making such an awesome family! Doing Gods work for sure!
Landon the intention was there and your heart was in the right place...with the experience you are gaining each day as a mechanic i have no doubt that it will be a piece of cake for you to do the job! Have fun!
landon way to tell dad the truth ,thats part of having a solid family through thick and thin
There has to be a GM Dana 60 laying around somewhere that Landon can talk you out of.
Pretty nice to see Father and Son team doing recovery. As well as passing on the knowledge and experience to the next generation.
Best Dad Award goes to Paul 🤘
It’s pretty clear that your kids look up to you and I hope they realize how fortunate they are to have you and Michelle in their lives. They knowledge you are giving them is priceless.
I'd say Landon is doing just fine. Take care of your family, take care of your friends, and be a good guy. He's got it.
Landon had a sweet adventure. Wish my dad would have supported more of my adventures.
Landon, You have a good support group there, pay attention to what they're telling you! Especially your dad!
Landon's a young Paul in the making. Been cool to watch over the last couple years
Tough, but fair. The world needs more parenting like this. Respect.
“FabRats” That was a fun four wheeling mud adventure Thxs Paul & Landon💛
So Awesome that you teach them skills that will carry them through life. Even better that they want to learn.❤
Back again - damn! What a good dad. I’m impressed, and I know my opinion means zero or less. But it’s cool that you don’t beat up on him, you know he’ll learn from the experience. Then calmly explaining why it broke is a bonus. Let’s see him fix it
Landon your a very lucky boy having a dad like yours my dad is the same I’m 71 now in an old Land Rover it was made in 1960 gone now scrapyard in the sky. Hope my dad has fixed by now. Ha Ha. Thank you for giving an old man so much enjoyment.
Landon always looking at Paul like he's in just a little trouble - not just on this one- always cracks me up.
Because I'm sure Paul is tough on him off camera...as it should be...did you see Landon tense up when Paul said"just not at midnight"?. I laughed so hard...brought back memories of my Dad when I was a kid so many decades ago...good Dad.
Great job of not missing the moment, Paul. What a bunch of great memories you two made. Thanks so much for sharing them with us.
Landon did right for his friend and dad did right for his son. Always great to see people that still care about friends and love ones. Also another enjoyable video from the Fab Rats.
Paul: you are such a great Instructor, Teacher and above all Dad to your children. Their life experiences will go on with them to their future families.
Thanks for sharing your time with us all.
love to watch landon and paul bonding time. the trip to retrieve the truck worth it.
Landon is the kind of friend to have , a great young man
Wheel it, Break it, Fix it and repeat. Kind lets you now real fast how deep the pocket book is don't it. Great Father and Son time right there.
Story time with Landon. Seems to be like father, like son!
It appears London's friends know who they can call on. Maybe he can get them to whitewash the fence like someone else I know!
.... ain't nothing better than getting help from 'Dad's Towing and Off-Road Recovery'! good job, Paul!
The FJ is a beast! Lando must have had a great adventure.
The FJ is an amazing machine.
I love FabRats videos , very excited for every new videos just to see what they get themselves into!!! Awesome videos 😅😊
Apple polisher.
You guys are a fine example of families that play together, stay together.
Like father, like son. Fix’n and break’n things. In fact I think I heard Paul say one time, “let’s go tear some stuff up”. Stay awesome young man.
Paul its so cool how your teaching Landon the ways of the OFF Road 4X4 Life. That Boy is gonna be just as good as you if not better. Landon Definitely has someone super rad as a dad......
Good morning Fab Rats crew! Thanks for another great video!
I have no problem if my son goes wheeling and even get stuck but if I have to rescue him he has to detail both vehicles. So it made me smile when you told Landon he had to pressure wash the vehicles. I’d rather my son get stuck in the mud out wheeling and break down and I have to rescue him, than him be at a party where nefarious teens are being stupid.
Great father son moment! The older I get the more I appreciate the chance I get to make these type of memories with my ol man.

You are the best dad ever, so cool.
Looking good with that beard paul!!! 👌 👍🤘
Oh wow. Look at me, I'm so lucky! Personally picked out by Fabrats, I'm a winner, I'm special, wait, no, I'm none of those things and I'm not stupid.
Dear scammers, may your ears turn into arseholes and shit all over your shoulders.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love that you let your kids be kids. They’re learning how to break stuff, knowing dad has their back.
Even better that you blasted the sand hill on the way
Can’t wait for the 24 hour H&B. I think your nice simple rig is going to keep up with the big boys
Keep having fun
Best part of being a young man is what happens at midnight. Good experiences and good parents make a big difference. Landon is doing alright!
That's a good friend there to go out and risk his own rig to help someone else. Way to go Landon!
I have been watchin' for years and don't comment.. I think this was the best! I'm partial b/c I'm a Dad and been there. Love it.
Landon pretty much knows hot to fix the U-joint. Landon the first pull dad made, the expression on your face was priceless.
Landon, this is a real bummer for you! Just remember that in life, no good deed goes unpunished! It's really important then to have a great support network like your dad, Ben, and the others help you get things fixed again!
Landon, moonlighting sometimes just doesn't pay off. But to have your Dad as a backup is fantastic and your Dad is great! Memories that you have with your Dad are priceless!!! J.R.
Great part of parenting is seeing the maturity of our kids, great job folks.,.
Man what an awesome way to grow up. Go help your friends. Break your stuff. Dad has all the toys to help you out.
Landon is a great example of a
young man, you must be very proud and he has cool headlights 🙂
I loved this video. Paul gets Coolest Dad Of The Year for his positive attitude for youthful foolishness. And Landon learned a lot. It was great to see Father ans son work together so smoothly. I loved those headphone things you were using. Way better than hand signals or just hollering back and forth.
Good kid basically volunteering to wash both trucks. No excuses, just good manners.
You are a good dad. Landon is fortunate to have someone that can share so much knowledge with him.
Okay Landon, what did we learn? No good deed goes unpunished. Thanks for the great video!
Have 3 kids of my own 23, 26 & 29. Constantly impressed with how well mannered and capable your children are. You must be proud. Love your videos thanks for all of your efforts!👍👊
The FJ is a beast you built a great unit sir Paul,Landon is very lucky to have a dad like yourself well done guy's
One thing I know about kids and 4x4s (having been one myself at one time) is that that they think they are invincible and will get into the worst situations and usually end up stuck or broke down. At this point they're required to call a buddy and by the rules he's required to blindly follow you down into the pit of disaster and become stuck or broke down also. Everything works itself out in the end, but not without tons of grief for everyone involved and powerful lessons are hopefully learned.
This is on the job training 1 master teaching a future master of his environment ,how its done!! Teach them well they are the future ,and whos gonna pull us out and fix our rigs when we get old!
Well it happened, you recovered, all got washed. Have a good week and count your blessings amen.
I like that way of thinking . . . If he’s old enough to break em, he’s old enough to fix em.
