I was born with club foot. I had a complete triple fusion of all mid bones and Achilles lengthened. I walk on the outer edge of my foot ( like I the inverter image on your video) I have very high arches as well . This seems strange as all Docs say it’s people with flat feet that get this PTT.
Anyway I have managed for 50 yrs but I get that pain right in the exact area you are showing. When I go to walk forward and the pain is so sharp that I have to halt. In fact the only way to walk is to point my foot outwards and then I can sort of get around.
Went to the podiatrist last week and at first he thought I may have osteoarthritis in the fused bones but he thinks it is the PTT tendon and taped up my leg. To my surprise this is the most pain free I have been for weeks, I was literally crying with pain before 😢
My podiatrist said it might be worth making a rocker insole for my shoe to stop me putting to much pressure on this tendon.
One more thing is that ice baths work but heat doesn’t .
Long term I don’t hold out much hope for this condition because it has been flaring up on and off for quite a few years and is getting more frequent as I get older. .,
Thanks for your for your in-depth info.

Is the heel raise continuum for identifying this condition a bilateral or unilateral heel raise? Someone might be able to perform a heel raise quite ok bilaterally but unilaterally will struggle.
