I was thinking exactly the same thing. I love the pots and pans you use. It's actually key to making/cooking a perfect meal. I know if you get really good pots and pans, and you care for them properly, they can last for years. So spending a little bit extra, or actually, quite a lot extra, can save you from having to buy more. It even actually saves your food from burning/sticking, etc, and makes for perfect cooking. So yes, we are all here for the love and passion of good food, and it all starts with the perfect equipment. Sorry, I sound like such a geek 😅😂🤣

Loved this video! And yes the combo of daal and egg is superb! Grew up on eating daal and rice with something called dim biran on the side. It’s essentially an omelette/ frittata and it’s just eggs whisked with a few staple ingredients like red onions, coriander and green chilli. Let it get a really nice deep brown on each side and the slower the better! Really easy and yum!!

YALL THE SALMON WITH THE RICE WAS SO GOOD. I accidentally put the tahini in the salmon marinade and it honestly came out so delish the carrots were 10/10 as well. I definitely recommend this if you are a student a student it should take more than 45 minutes to make! Even quicker if you meal prep before
I love how you havent gone full carnivore and still balance your meat and fish with vegetables and legumes. Many influencers and gurus seem to be obsessed with being in a camp (vegan, low carb/high carb, carnivore, intuitive etc) whereas you just incorporate all of the food pyramid. I’ve followed you since you were vegan and I’m glad that I stuck by because you make food that I actually want to and do make and enjoy!

India has such an insane variety of food across its many states, but it's so beautiful that almost every state will have some version of dal chawal that is enjoyed every day.

If you are having problems unscrewing a lid use a knife to pop the seal. I usually do it near one of the seal points.
