Hi bush. An old man in Alabama taught me a trick for a swallowed hook. I wouldn’t take the time to type this out but it works literally every single time. Take a stick, strong enough that it won’t break but small enough to fit in the fishes mouth. Put the stick in the fishes mouth and hold that stick and your line with one hand, letting the fish hang. Now spin the fish using that stick while hanging onto the line. The line wraps around the stick, turning the hook, and the point of the hook goes into the stick. The fish will fall to the ground completely unharmed. It works every single time. With your following, I think it would be good to demonstrate this so that as many fisherman as possible know. This works so well that I keep a wooden dowel in my tackle box for this singular reason.
Appreciate the info my friend I'll try that out thank you for watching 😄💪
It was nice meeting you and fishing with you on that day. Thank you for the tips and the bait. Few days later I had an epic fishing day there. Video will be coming out soon. Those Spottail Pinfish were delicious.
It was nice meeting you too my friend just checking out the channel right now😄
Finally showing again....Exciting comfortable fishing video, waiting for the next video,
Thank you
Back to Honeymoon and lots of Big Spotted pinfish. Throw in a Snook, Sheepies and Whiting and not a bad day fishing. Thanks Bush for the Video 👍🏼🎣
Thank you appreciate you watching
Lots of those around most dock. I believe they are related to porgy. I was never desperate enough to eat one!
Solid action Bush! 🙌
Thank you 💪💪
Big Ol’ spotted pins! Nice job man!
Thank you
Good video Bush, I think you are the only one caching fish now, is been real slow only sting rays and couple ladyfish so far this winter but keep them coming my friend and always thanks for the good videos👍👍👍😁
Thank you my friend I think very soon they're going to start biting
yeah i had heard people saying big pin fish like that tasted good, then one time i was kayak fishing north side of Howard park and caught a several of them all around 10 inches.. brought them home, into the frying pan, man they were nice to eat! ive found them around around the 5..7 inch mark but they seem too small to get a fillet out...
I might give them a try next time 😄
Hola Bush. I took my 10 year old son to Courtney Campbell this morn and he got his first Snook (21") and first Trout (17"), plus a short Snapper and a huge Puffer. I have you to thank for our success!!! :D Maybe we could meet up sometime.
Now if I could just find a decent batch of Mojarras for Snapper and we will be in business. I was at Cypress Point Park yesterday and all I caught were baby Mojarras and mud minnows. This fish we caught this morn all came on live shrimp.
John
Great job that's a good day. It's been tough finding mojarras lately. Around Apollo Beach you'll find them nowadays because of the warm Waters.
@@FishOnChannel Thanks for the tip Bush! I really want Brady to enjoy a few snapper sandwiches since he is VERY good about eating everything he keeps! :)
Good video buddy I was there last week and only caught a couple small trout.
Thank you. It's kind of being slow lately but should pick up pretty soon
Happy new year Brother you’re fighting fish we’re fighting snow and 🥶🥶😁😁
Happy New Year my friend it's been really nice in here can't complain 😄
My daughter takes her dogs there all the time. I hear at times that is a good spot for pompano . Keep up the videos always looks like you are having a good time. Happy New year my friend!
Happy New Year my friend. The dog beach is a perfect spot for pompano's on the springtime
Headed to the dog beach this morning! Nice not to crowded area! Hopefully we will catch something.
Good luck I was going to go there today but it's going to be windy.
Hey man is this oasis Beach I fished some rocks just like this but didn't see the sign in water
Hey man, can you tell me what size hooks you're using please
In This video I was using number 4 j hooks usually they work good for sheepshead snapper and other small fish
Just looked up the spottail pinfish, the dang things grow to 18 inches
It's funny I guess they might be good eating when they get that big.
Heading to honeymoon tomorrow. What's biting at this time of year?
Plenty of sharks redfish snook trout 😀💪
@FishOnChannel redfish are my favorite target species! Hoping to catch a few off the beach.
What hook size should i use for here?
#2 j hook
@@FishOnChannel thanks! Going today! Hope I get something!
We much bigger ones here in S.A . We call them black tail
You ever try them are they good
Bush! Let’s hit sebastian!!
After New Year for sure
I got the same big spottail pinfish too, they’r everywhere I guess these days. Sheepies are thick around now, let’s catch up one of these days with crabs and get’em…. Happy new year and tight lines 🤙🎣
I never got so many and that fat 😄 Happy New Year my friend. let's make plans after New Year.
Traffic was so bad there today, we fished the seawall at the second bridge, seen no sheep. shouldve kept driving to the park...
Yeah I never had any luck by the bridge always go inside the park.
The sheep are there sometimes, but mosty we catch mackerel there.
Is that the north beach?
Yes
@@FishOnChannel ty
First fish also called a ring tail porgy if I am not mistaken.
Spotted pinfish I think I'm not sure which video was this 😄
@@FishOnChannel Fishing Honeymoon Island
@@michaelgreene for sure spottail pinfish
@@FishOnChannel OK. We call them ring tail or spot tail porgies.
I think that’s a Bermuda Chub with the spot on its tail
Next time I'll try to eat some 😄
Spottail Pinfish. Excellent grouper bait
I eat them...
