That’s awesome!! Congrats on an amazing catch! 🙌
Appreciate the kind words! 🤘
Totally sick, huh Josh? I hope you're feeling better my man, GOD BLESS YOU 🙏
Hopefully it doesn’t come back to the beach looking for more bait.
@@benedictcumberbatch4275 They're pretty smart when it comes to certain things, so her being caught and forced to shore against her will may cause her to never hunt that area again. lol.
@@CoastalWorldwide1 how many yards of that 200lb braid did you have on your reel?
Me and my wife talked with them when they first hooked up and told them we would stop back by. What a freaking awesome thing to witness!! We got back there right as they were landing her. Best Monday I believe I have ever had. Awesome job guys!! Glad I stopped to talk
Thanks for stopping and saying hey! What a wild morning!
@@CoastalWorldwide1that’s so cool!
Keep it wild...keep it real....
Jealous ❤
What beach was this on?
Thank you for releasing this. Magnificent creature. Unharmed. God bless you all.🙏🏻♥️
Of course- we appreciate that animal very much
@@CoastalWorldwide1 yeah I have seen shark videos of them thrashing wildly left and right and biting so why in god‘s name would you put your hand that close to its mouth when you were releasing it?
@@cry_now_laugh_later sorry for replying for so late but, they were fighting it for near an hour so it was tired out and is also so big that it cant thrash its head and bite someone very easily unlike those small sharks (compared to this one) and atleast he didnt reach in its mouth
That would have been good dinner for the whole neighborhood
I live right down the street from where they caught this. I was born and raised here, and my whole life everyone and myself included, always told people that our water was too warm for Great White 🦈 sharks!? Well I am man enough to say when I am wrong….and “I’m definitely wrong!” Because as you can see…..They are HERE! WOW, what a fish and a catch! Great job!
Although I don’t think I would’ve gotten in the water with it, and gotten so close to his mouth 😉😉Great Job!
Crazy occurrence for sure! 👍 we love Navarre!
Yea I live about 2 mins from there also I’ve seen dozens of sharks out there
We put a transmitter on a large great white and tracked it around Australia. It went way north, and on its journey it also went into Sydney harbor where the triathlon swimmers raced in the Olympics.
@TomJones-tx7pb Haha. Of course it came here mate. It's australia. Dangerous animals. It's our thing 😂👍🇦🇺
Brother great white sharks keep their body temp around 80 degrees, they love warm water
I have to admit that was one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. It had fear, suspicion, anxiety.. and heart warming emotions after the release of that beautiful animal!
Great job and congratulations my friends. Thank you!
So glad you could ride the emotional train we were on right there with us through this video! Means a lot, thanks for the feedback 🙏
Actually an underrated comment
These guys made the catch of a lifetime possible for my son and I. Reeled in a Ten foot tiger shark all thank me to them last night. Let gooooooooo!
LETS GOOOOOO!!🤘🤘🔥🔥
That's the first time that shark ever heard someone yell "OMG" that she wasn't eating. 😅🤣😂
😂😂
One of the most EPIC fishing films I've ever seen on film ...well done Guys.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Amazing catch and also so refreshing to see a magnificent shark like that being treated with the utmost respect and such passion for the sport
We did everything we could to make sure she was safe 🙏
Congrats Blaine! Fantastic camera work, Dylan! Thank yall for representing our sport with such a professional approach.
Glad you enjoyed the film 🤘🤘
Ur welcome
That was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Just a chill female out for a swim, taking advantage of free food, and we get to see her swim away after y'all hooked her and gave her a snack. Great job, guys. ❤
Thank you- glad you enjoyed the video
Congrats! That was epic. The dream of every beach bait soaker. Spent countless hours wet, bloody, stinkin’, sweaty, hauling gear. Loved every minute of it. Doesn’t get any better than that.
So glad you enjoyed the video!
Congrats Fish of a life time!! Not many people can say they have caught a mature great white even fewer can say they have caught one from a beach. Awesome job and keep the lines tight and the adventures coming!!
Wouldn’t want it from anywhere but the beach- humble beginnings 🙏🙏
Thing will get attacked and killed moments after going back in the water. Sharks kill other tired sharks
@@tens9100 Not a chance. Great whites are rare in that area. They rejuvenate fast once in deeper colder water.
@@tens9100WOW you really have no idea what you’re talking about! Geez!
@@veiledallegory what a stupid comment. Sending you a warm and WET FART NOISE
What a badass catch, especially from the beach! When the line slipped it was gut wrenching, but the dude ended up getting a little break and won the battle. Well done!!
Big break for sure! Thanks for the kind words!
It's really something watching that beast swim off. Both parties put in hard work.
Yes the fish and the fisherman.
Somebody had to win this tug of war contest. Today it was Blaine. Congrats bro. You earned it.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the video
Dedication, you have no Idea how impressed I am, watching you Two both, you did not celebrate until you knew your shark was Safely Released..both of you are truly Great Fishermen..
Thank you so much for the kind words- we wanted to ensure a safe release of an amazing animal
My hands were sweating just watching you fight that monster. Just amazing! That release was a great look for all anglers.
Glad you were able to enjoy the video like we lived it! That’s our goal!
Amazing angling, camera work and camaraderie guys! Hats off to you! I was tearing up for you guys! To catch that beast, then wade with it until it swam off....priceless!!
Glad you enjoyed it right along with us!
@CoastalWorldwide1 definitely did 🎣 shared the vid on several places for my peeps. Incredible vid. Perusing your content right now lol. Recovering from shoulder surgery so your vids are helping me get through the next few months! Tight lines 🎣
Dude! You're a complete badass! Not just for the catch, but for the brass to pull the hook out of that beast and then walk it back out to the deeper water 🤯😎 much respect bro!
Gotta take care of them! Glad you enjoyed!
Totally Mad respect !
Clipped the leader off and left the hook man no way he is reaching in its mouth to take it out. Hook will be gone in aa few days
So glad you did not forget your drone.
What an awesome fish!
You should be very proud!
Yes, thank you!
Wow !!! This brought tears to my eyes, especially when you helped that majestic fish head back out into her ocean home !!!!
Glad you felt the same emotions we did
Instant classic that’ll be watched millions a times for years to come
🙏 thank you!
I say it was a lame video just a couple of fools proving how manly they are eh!
Amazing animal and amazing catch guys. You also treated the shark with respect and just brought the shark in and quickly removed the hook and let the shark go, no unnecessary suffocating the shark by having it for a long time in shallow water. Need more people treating sharks and fish in general like you! Great job 😁
We did our best to take care of that beautiful animal
@CoastalWorldwide1 Sorry, but this is animal cruelty. You depleated vital energy reserves that an endangered animal had left and stressed it just for views and then sent it back into the open. Catch and release is animal cruelty and that's not my opinion, it's a fact (and yes, sometimes a catch isn't legal or not edible and so on. In this case releasing it is the right option. But most catch and release fishing is done purely to satiate ones own ego or get a bunch of views). A big youtube Channel has a lot of influence and with great power comes great responsibility. People will think that this is cool and then they will try it themselves, thus harming more of our oceans protectors...
Please don't take this the wrong way, your channel is entertaining and you seem to be really good people, but this is a point I had to adress, because especially sharks are unfortunatly very misunderstood creatures.
@@kaviyaneskandari2316 They have high end equipment they bring those fish in as fast as possible a big ass shark is not gonna lose all of its energy in a couple of minutes they just unhooked it fast and released it back. Also if I remember the video shark wasn't even what they were going for so like what you wanted them to do otherwise than pulling the shark in and just unhook it and put it back. Animal cruelty would be having weak equipment and fishing purposely for big sharks or any other fish and keeping it on the line for hours just slowly exhausting it. But they did everything in their power to do no harm to that shark. Just like you're not gonna die when running for like 5 minutes to catch a bus that shark is not gonna die from being on the line for a couple minutes.
@@kaviyaneskandari2316my thoughts exactly. I hope they are proud that this poor girl washed up dead later. All for what? Stupid views?! This should be illegal.
I almost never comment, but by golly I'm proud of the boys! Clean work and perfect execution.
This is the sweetest thing 🫠 thanks dawg
My sincerest congratulations. I did this back in the late 70's, all through the 80's and early 90's. Twice we hooked into a fish that required us to "tie in" to another reel to keep from getting spooled off the beach. Both fish broke off after several hours. Now there are regular pings off the Jacksonville beaches area from tagged Great Whites and I'm convinced that this is what we had on those two times. 80lb mono and Penn Senator black beauty's were the reels of choice back then. Again, awesome catch and release.
I met people in Sarasota growing up who had a shark club and they caught some massive tigers, bulls and hammerheads. But I never heard of a great white from the beach there. That would be truly amazing.
Great white sharks are beautiful animals. Thank you for letting her go.
Of course! Amazing for sure
At the 3:50 minute mark, when the shark stopped running towards you and turned and tighten that line and you knew he was locked, that made my heart stop. The best feeling in the world! Congrats to you guys. Keep the great content up. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Super glad you were able to feel the adventure with us! Thanks for the kind words! Got another fun video coming Wednesday!
I commend you guys for releasing it without harm and doing things the proper way appreciate that that great white is one of the best catches I’ve seen to date next time call the marine lab in sea lab in Alabama so they can tag her and study her
Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately we can hold her and wait till the sea lab people get there from 2.5hrs away
@@CoastalWorldwide1 ya good point it would been good tho did y’all take measurements tho and that scar does help with identification as she’ll always have a scar Thier now so it’ll be easy to identify her u should name her man as she’ll prob be caught again and studied they have a ship off Pensacola I think currently studying another great white several hound red miles off the coast currently
@@CoastalWorldwide1 ocearch is the app u can view every shark currently being pinged tracked etc theirs two currently off fl coast just chilling
@@Arenablackout327Denver its not allowed. Whites are protected , its high risk beaching most large sharks and releasing as it is. Most die w in hours of being released.
Everything about this was on a different level…. Well done!!
Thank you!
Halfway in and this is one of the best land based shark videos I've seen!👍
Let’s go! Glad you are enjoying!
This is so huge that I just read about it in the New York Post. Congratulations!
Thank you so much!!
I know this exact feeling but in a completely different sport. We dream of days like these and forever chase that high again! Congratulations, man! What a day!
The comparison if you are talking about golf would be like back to back hole in ones on par 4s. I have run charterbaots in Florida for 20 years and have only SEEN one much less caught one or even hooked one.
Awesome catch! I am a local kayak fisherman and have seen and caught some big sharks, at least I thought they were big, this was on a whole different level. This is stuff dreams are made of. Congrats guys
Hey glad you enjoyed the video!
I'm a local kayaker too, I'm pretty sure I've seen this shark under me lol. I saw 4 giant hammerheads under me that were longer than my 12ft hobie.
@@thegreatsoutherntrendkill272 I don't know what I do if I saw a great white under me, lol. I have seen some massive hammers around me but they are pretty chill from what I have seen. Some days we have sharks launching fully out of the water and I always wonder if one is gonna land on my kayak, it is only 24" wide so not much room for me and shark to share.
Absolutely incredible. Magnificent fish, treated with the honor and respect that she deserved. Catch of a lifetime.
Very blessed to have the opportunity to spend a little bit of time with this amazing creature 🙏🙏
Man, a white shark in the northern part of the gulf is crazy! I’m sure they’ve always been there, but it’s cool to see them go places we don’t see them often💪🏾
Paul Walker, the former actor we all enjoyed… was an avid ocean explorer… he was witnessed during a live documentary, helping a team tag and bring up on boat slip, a 5400 lb pregnant great white at nearly 22 feet long. This was the widest, largest shark I’ve ever seen on video. Absolutely a beauty.
Yeah that was wild!
Thank you for having the foresight of recording this amazing catch. I have my 80 year old Dad watching in Dominguito Puerto Rico. My Dad is/was a huge shark fisherman in his Hey day. Vietnam Vet, 25 year patrol man in Jersey City N.J. And he called me back saying “ Why couldn’t we have been with them to help”. LOL! Congratulations
Haha 😂 DANG! That’s epic man- tell your dad we said hello and thanks for being apart of the sport! Blessing to you and your family- thanks so much for watching
And just think… I’ve swam in those waters for years every year on family vacation! I used to go way out past the second sand bar to the blue water with fins and a mask! I’m old now, but if I was still young, I doubt I’d go so far out after seeing this! lol what a magnificent animal of the deep, and kudos for your respectful handling of her!
This video is absolutely insane. The ultimate fish, and you let it go safely. Awesome.
Glad you enjoyed!
OMGOSH!!! Amazing capture and release!!! Congratulations guys!!! Also, Thank You for being kind to that magnificent creature 💕💕💕 Truly Beautiful 😊
We love our sharks and respect them!
Nothing tops a Great white, incredible Animal
Apex of apex
Umm, see - Orcas
But great whites are indeed right on up there.
I'm glad you got photographs. That was a memory maker! Congratulations!
Yes! Thank you!
WAW! and WAW! again, she was a big one, the tail was 4ft wide, it is good to see you guys enjoying sport fishing not doing harm to the shark, it gets so annoying when we see guys grab the tail and drag the shark up to the sand, well done, the fish of a lifetime, very enjoyable video🎣🦈👍👍👍
Thanks! 🙏 it was a wild experience we were happy to share!
The beautiful thing was how calm it was. We all know what a great white is possible of doing but for it to be so calm enough for him to walk in front & hands in its face! Wow!
She was a gentle giant for sure just like the first one we caught 🤘
this video brings so much inspiration, this is what actually got me into wanting to LBSF, keep up the great work, Legends!

Thanks brotha 🤘🔥 glad you enjoyed the video!
There was a pregnant great white that washed up on same beach 2 days ago. Although thankfully, it does not appear to be the same one you all caught. But they are obviously spending some winters here and there is more than one. They are such beautiful creatures!
It was yesterday February 23rd. And it was not this shark or ours. But it was a very sad event to see.
5 were caught last year. And so far 4 this year. More and more are coming for sure.
I don’t salt fish and this the only “salt” fishing channel I watch!!!
That’s epic! Glad you enjoy them!
I genuinely felt bad when Blaine thought he’d pulled hook.
Outstanding work gents.
Heart breaking moment for sure
The most important thing is she's safe and back out where she belongs as a top apex predator. What a helluva catch. Something you truly will never forget.
That’s the truth 🤘
She is not safe mate, the risk of death for a shark increases a lot after release, because they spend so much energy to not get caught that can die after. Also become easier prey for predators
Damn fine bit of fishing there fellas my hats off tons of respect for y'all for properly removing the hook and releasing the ol girl back home before celebrating what was most certainly a catch of a lifetime and would've been very easy to get caught up in it and forgot about her well-being but you exhibited all the traits of a true angler and for all of this you've earned a new subscriber who is anxious to see your future fishing endeavors and congrats on a remarkable catch the two of you are class acts
Thank you very very much for the kind words! We have an exciting video coming Wednesday!
This girl might have mated before that happened... her scars could indicate that. Now she was hooked, stressed out and her energy reserves are empty... just not cool.. But aside from the aspect that it was complete animal cruelty towards an endangered animal, it was quite the impressive catch
Amazing - will help tourists to know there are great whites at Navarre! keep the kids safe! LOL
You won’t catch us in that 58 degree water 😂
This is the best surf fishing video I’ve ever seen.. Drone footage was badass. Great catch bro
Glad you enjoyed the video!

Awesome work guys! A big congratulations from down under!🇦🇺🇦🇺

@@Thatoneguy971Correct. Leaving a dumb comment like that will get you made fun of for sure.
Exceptional handling of the Shark again guys. Hats Off to you and congratulations. Peace 👊

How do you get the hook out of its mouth?
They don't, they will tell you the hook dissolves in a few weeks, it doesn't.
Hooks definitely do not dissolve- dumbest thing FL tries to tell ppl
We remove the hook most times by Dehooking- in the case cutting the hooking and removing each piece
thank y ou for keeping these big sharks released and not killed for a trophy!
Of course!
Risking the life of an animal just for shits and giggles….and RUclips money.
Um obviously we didn’t target this shark 😂😂
No, you were targeting any big shark.
Dream catch... I would feel like there's nothing else that would ever top a great white from the beach.
It’s our second one!
Hopefully it doesn’t wash up in a week or so… FWC will be on you guys.
Well this was 3 weeks ago sooooo
And also they weren’t actively fishing for it they were just fishing for shark
Absolutely amazing. Catch of a lifetime. I’m so happy for guys!! That is freaking awesome 🦈💪🏻
Thank you so much!
It's very dangerous to the Great White Sharks health to be hooked on fishing lines as this stresses their system and unfortunately can and does cause senseless deaths to these majestic Apex predators. White Sharks are detrimental to the health of our oceans and are a protected species therefore people shouldn't be allowed to fish for these magnificent fish
They weren’t fishing for it you can’t control what bites your hook
CONGRATS! 🦈That scar on her back is most likely from a swordfish. People have seen swordfish injure sharks like that, and many sharks have been found with swordfish wounds and swordfish bills broken off in their bodies. That was an AMAZING shark, glad to see her healing from whatever happened to her and to see her swimming off back to deep blue yonder. 🦈🦈
Scar is from a boat prop- old and healed up. Amazing animal we were lucky to share a brief moment with
im totally ignorant to this. im truly asking to understand: is the point to see the fish/get it as close to land as possible? i just dont understand the actual point/when you know "we've done what we came to do", when the intention is to release at the end. is this like porn (you know it when you see it), ie you just know when you have "caught" the fish, and its time to release? partly im trying to understand why he was so devastated when (you thought) the hook came out, yet so incredibly happy when the fish was voluntarily released only 10s of yards closer to shore?
That’s a great question. Really at that point just wanting to be able to see the fish in person. We can’t control what takes the bait but seeing a white shark and being able to remove our gear from it is important for the shark and personal life experience
Big hammerheads generally don't survive long battles and that's a pity. Years ago, one was caught in Texas and the guy walked it for an hour and a half before it could swim off. Who knows if it survived? There is/was a video here of Aussies that caught a big hammerhead off of Brisbane and you could tell it was dead when they released it. @@CoastalWorldwide1
