I’m a bit confused , I’ve undone the two bracket nuts , but then you say you should be able to remove the fuse unit , do you mean if you disconnect everything . I can see that the unit is still there in your vid . Finally replaced in WTF Volvo that’s a joke !
? The accelerator pedel is on the outside of the car this would make no sense, unless it was LHD, because the access panel is always on the left of HVac unit

Remove the glove box as well it much easier
This is wrong way to do it. You should do it from the other side. Unboly the accelerator pedal, raise side carpet and you access to the filter box.
