My son purchased a beautiful blue I30 and after being in it I was sold, My Daughter got a Hyundai Ioniq self charging hybrid again in a eye catching blue it had more features than I could remember so i took a trip to Hyindai and got one for myself, I will say that their service in sales and actual servicing is top notch.

@@deadpoolthepsycho_________2428 My son is working and left home my daughter is 32, they didn't give me the bill the I30 is also a 2010 and that is what made us so interested in the brand it was immaculate and runs like a dream, and my boy has put some serious miles on it and it runs like a new car and his mechanic has tried to buy it several times.
I30 is amazing hopefully I can afford a mild used 5 year old i30

It's a budget electric vehicle for the masses. Love the fact you can sleep on the front seats. Prevents D.U.I's. Not a S.C.B. ultra modern , but very well designed mass transit unit.
I guarantee you that you won't find a single Ioniq 5 at the MSRP. I just purchased the Limited Edition at 65k. If you're looking for a budget EV (that's relative), the cheapest you'll find is the VW ID.4
To my understanding, being drunk while being in the driver seat, even if you're not driving, is subject to DUI. At least, in the US.

It's easy to name a bunch of cars that are more beautiful, but those often ain't reliable and more important affordable daily drivers.
Hyundai is even more reliable than Toyota now and far more affordable too for the average Joe with it's low prices and 7 year guarantee.

I have seen this car in real life when I was on holidays I saw it two times in my life OMG! it was amazing. And I saw that car earlier then all of you guys. I saw it at Victoria Australia.
I've had mine for 6 months and its amazing, brings a smile to my face everyday.
I ordered one after a friend let me drive his. Now after a long long wait mine is coming in 3 weeks! I love the design and the engineering underneath. So different from all the rest.
I love that Supercar Blondie reviewed the car model that I just bought a month ago! I am so thrilled to have the Ioniq 5, it has surpassed all of my expectations. Great job giving a quick, high level overview. There were, however, a few minor inaccuracies:
- The longest range version does indeed get 488km of range, but the top spec model actually gets a bit less, as it is All-Wheel Drive, at 420km
- The top speed is actually 185km/h, not 180
- The area of the centre console that does wireless phone charging isn't the top section that she showed - that's just storage - it's down below that near the floor
- "Hyundai has just launched their very first all-electric car"... nope. The Kona and the original Ioniq have both had fully electric versions for years, but this is indeed the first dedicated electric platform that was designed exclusively for electric and doesn't have a gas version at all - perhaps that what she meant.

I’m not sure why you are saying it’s Hyundai’s “first fully electric car.” If you mean it’s Hyundai’s first electric car that was designed and built as electric from the ground up, that’s true. But Hyundai has had the Kona Electric and the original Ioniq Electric for a few years now, even if they both have ICE and hybrid versions too
she meant first of this model on the road that she is testing.

Ioniq 5 using different chasis with previous electric type, it's called E-GMP (Electronic Global Modular Platform), That's why she called it fully electric car.
Props to Hyundai, they literally stepped their game up. That suv looks awesome. The Tetris cubes everywhere is a nice touch. The sound when it's driven sounds so futuristic. 👍👍💯

@@nafinafih88 It is considered an SUV. The design makes it appear smaller than most SUVs but it's actually quite large and far more spacious inside than nearly every SUV I've been in. Being as though I am an owner of a new Ioniq 5, I can also say that this thing is a POS. =)

SB - I have had my Ioniq 5 for 3 weeks now and just wanted to let you know a few features you failed to mention. Firstly, the center glovebox is NOT for phone charging.
There is a little cubby to the right of the accelerator pedal which is the actual charger. Also while in the rear seat, you didn't show how the seats not only move forward and
back, but the back of the seats recline. Thanks for showing those not familiar with this new car another choice in the electric car marketplace.
There is a wireless charging port at the bottom of the center console under the armrest. It can be seen at the 12:39 minute mark. If you have a phone that can be wirlessly charged there is no need to plug it in and place it in the small cubby hole under the dash.
How long does it take to fully charge the car and how many miles can you go once it's fully charged.?
Best car I've ever owned Hyundai i30 7 years changed tyres still same brakes after 8 years and oil change once every 2 years never use expensive fuels 👍
I got this car a couple weeks ago because my son will be driving soon and will get my old car. My old car is the Tesla model 3. I must say I love my Ioniq 5 so much. It’s way better than the model 3 by far. I got the shooting star gray and I love the matte finish on it.
Inside of the car is actually very spacious - good as a family car.
Nice and spontaneous presentation of a wonderful car. Missed a few very cool features like V2L which is an impressive novelty in EV industry and also solar roof option is worth mentioning. Even without pointing out those things the car is impressive which is a major compliment for Hyundai!

The Ioniq 5 has always amazed me ever since I saw it and it is really cool that a normal driving car like this can look so elegant and futuristic. Lol on the "easter egg" you gave, nice you actually had me fooled for a second 🤣That magnetic feature caught me off guard I have never seen something like that In a car before, really cool! Also a car that insults you? I like this one already.
I saw one black mat on new year in the last couple of hours of 2021 and I loved it so much been saving ever since to order it. Its my favorite consumer buy car ever and I can't wait for someday to buy it. Hope that day comes soon it ain't easy to save any money this days while driving a diesel car on this fuel prices

Damn, that's a good lookin' set of wheels! Definitely a threat to Tesla sales, EV with attitude. I'd definitely buy one. Who'd have thought, Hyundai of all companies could come up with something as futuristic and drop dead gorgeous as that? Hyundai have another Ioniq that looks kind of similar in its lines to a Lamborghini Urus too. The Ioniq 5 almost looks like it should be in a Transformers movie, it would be fantastic as a new version of (unloved) Autobot Skids

Hi i live in Portugal and my family have that car, and i have to say that i love it! Here in Portugal there are already some! Im super excited to see the Next gen of Ioniq!
That movable center console is genius...it needs to be an option in all cars! Love the design, thoughtful details, and yes, I want to play Tetris or solve a Rubik's cube now.🟦🟩🟧🟪🟥🟨😊
I have a 2021 Chevy Bolt EV, love it. Started with 400 Kms per charge, currently 260 Kms per charge at this time, see the LG battery faults for 2017-2021 models. When the new battery is installed we all receive a new 8 y battery warranty. I am very good with that.
Not their first all electric car, they had the similarly named ioniq-electric, and the kona electric before this. However, it is their first electric car that is built on an exclusively electric architecture, there will be no annoying compromises made to the design to support gas/diesel/hybrid options, and that's a big advantage that puts it in more in line with Tesla. The wheelbase was made longer, overhangs shortened, and interior space was expanded since all since there was no need for a large engine bay, and no need to make tunnels in the floor for exhaust/driveshaft

Thanks for your review of this very cool car. It's not Hyundai's first fully electric car, as the Ioniq EV was released in 2017.
No wonder this has won almost every EV test there is. The price is cheap compared to other EVs as well and is packed with features. I just cant handle the looks. It looks tiny but its huge, size is even bigger than a Q4 E-tron. Just wish i can get passed the outside looks of it, damn great car.

Great video! The Hyundai Ioniq 5 looks absolutely amazing! It is spacious, flexible and has a sustainable interior made from sugar cane components and crushed PET bottles.

Not Hyundai's first all electric car, but SUV for sure and great one indeed, just wish they have Ionic 7 with larger dimensions. Does UAE model comes with bi-directional charging? If yes, great feature to show in the desert, you can power just about anything, from cooktop to airbed to fridge and projector

In Canada, the Hyundai Iconic 5 was our second all electric vehicle in the Hyundai line up. The first all electric vehicle in the Hyundai line up is the Hyundai Kona.

Actually in canada original Ioniq was offered in hybrid, plug-in hybrid and all electric. That was the first all electric hyundai in Canada.

Very futuristic design with some little retro touch which is tetris pixel. Thats cool.
The fridge function (magnet) is for holding your Mobile phone, have been using it now for years, almost for every brand Mobile phone there are magnetic cases, no need for those sticky things on windshield or dash that drops off every time you take a speedbump a little bit fast

Honestly, this is the first time ever I have seen supercar blondie even bothered with reviewing an "economy" car. And it's refreshing to see that.
I'm not against reviewing super cars, but I have always felt like this channel only focuses on the life for the rich and famous, the opulence of it does not quite jive with the world we actually live in. Blondie is part of the rich and famous world, and hence probably why she only reviews cars costing millions... I had always felt like most of her videos give a distorted view of what the world really is; I mean, only maybe 1% of the world actually live like that owning million dollar super luxury cars. Technology education is cool, but projecting fantasy living not so much.
Anyway, JMHO, still glad to see that she is willing to do a video on a "budget" vehicle. Keep it up.
From this side of globe 60k+ Eur hardly counts as economy car tbh. Still glad to see some more relevant cars on this channel
