I’d give it an A we need a young offensive mind add that he has 6 years as an OC and he’s younger then all of the other candidates and he has more playcalling experience then everyone too.
Kellen Moore is perfect for this job! The Saints would be so blessed to have him. I live in Boise and have followed him closely since 2006 ~ he’ll be a great hire! 🎉
I would grade Moore a B+ hire. He has had a great year in Philly but they have way more weapons than we do so it will be interesting seeing how he does at rebuilding our roster
Kellen Moore deserves and has earned this opportunity, and the Saints will reap the benefits. McCarthy ran him out of Dallas because he was insecure and knew Kellen was a better offensive mind than he was , and the Cowboys offense was never as good after he was gone.

Does his offensive schemes are productive in the NFL is a major plus so I just want to see how he implements his his plans his schemes and his adjustments during a game if they hire Kellen Moore
I’m surprised that Kellen is still available. He was in the top 2 for me since the beginning. Since he has no experience at HC I can’t give him an A, but I will give this choice a SOLID B
I hope Moore does well but just feel we will be looking for a new head coach in 4 years. Its a D hire. He hasnt done anything without a lot of talent. When he didnt have talent he struggled. The Saints do not have much talent and the talent we do have are always injured. So this should tell you what to expect from this hire. Also he is cheaper than McCarthy so that has a lot to do with it. He is not getting Ben Johnson money. Maybe half.
I don't think NFL teams hire the right way. Whichever coordinator that has the hot stats gets hired. Doesn't matter leadership skill levels. Kellen Moore will be a horrible choice and will be a failure. He runs a good offense loaded with talent with Barkley at RB. Example is when the Packers hired McCarthy way back when. His offense was ranked 30 in the NFL when he was with the 49ers, but his body of work excelling with limited talent was a standout. He got hired and was first rate for 13 years. How he won 7 games this year or whatever with Cooper Rush and injury riddled players is something. He does more with less and he is a leader. Teams need to look at leaders. New Orleans should jump all over McCarthy or the Packers special teams coach/assistant head coach. These guys are true leaders.

A run heavy offense is fine if you have the offensive line to make it work
B+ and we are lucky to have him. In ten years it could be an A+.
