No need to take out of cage to change battery as far as I know, as the side door opens to allow battery and SD card to be replaced.

Nice info sir. Do you use ND filters while riding? If yes, do they fit with that cage on? I like the fact that the cold shoe mount is away from the record button so i can mount the Rode wireless go receiver without getting in the way.

I don’t currently run any ND filters on my OA4. It is something I will look in to for the future. 🤙
