    This video made me realize that I like about John is his ability to speak in a way that seems so thought out in each word and phrase only to hit you with a curveball of language that's so unique and endearing like "greeted with a blizzard of indifference" "hip dysplasia, like many dogs" idk if I'd ever be able to come up with something like that on the spot and so casually.

      My younger brother's favorite band is Steely Dan. I always think he should go watch them with John, but then I remember neither of us know this guy IRL and I can't set up play dates with men who don't even know each other, so I move on. Peg is probably my favorite Steely Dan song, but I adore Fagan's I.G.Y. Love listening to that song on repeat. :)

    Whenever John Mulaney says “I’m gonna” he almost says it like “I’n gonna”. It’s like a different sound in between im and gonna than the rest of us. Idk if he’s noticed, but I have. Many times.

      Nerd fact -- Noah Webster went through the English language at the time and purged it of the unnecessary Us and other British-isms to show the new country's independence it that way too. Once of the many reasons English is such a strange and difficult language
