@@themaskedman221 Ireland had someone else's monarchy for centuries and you're talking nonsense if you think we would ever accept this ancient and evil superstition called aristocracy as part of our independent country. The whole project of independence was engineered by a secret society called the Irish Republican Brotherhood. The first declaration of independence - the Proclamation of 1916, six years before the fact, proclaimed a republic. Only a republic. We fought a civil war over two things and two things only; the status of Northern Ireland and the idea of swearing fealty to a king *at all* for the first few years of independence when Ireland was technically part of the British dominions. And the latter was just as controversial as the former. To be called a king or queen is a near insult in Ireland. It is equivalent to being called a parasite.

I saw it twice in theaters, and both times, it moved me to tears. Your ability to convey so much depth and emotion is extraordinary. He was fantastic in Aftersun and All of us Strangers. I have only twice been in a cinema where the audience was totally silent and stayed in their seats while the credits rolled and that happened in the cinema at the end of AOUS

i think a healthy view is as a fan supporting the actor for whatever project they want to do & root for them even if a decision is unexpected. we see what the industry and the actors themselves reveal, so i feel like we can recognize we like and know the public persona but not truly know the real inner and personal life of the person

I was in The Lir for a year at the same time as Paul, and he was supposed to be in a short film of mine a couple years later, but he pulled out because he said he got an ad, and I’m pretty sure it was that Denny’s ad.
If he’d chosen my short and you got the Denny’s what state the world may be in now, who knows

@@stephenkyne945 That’s mad! I checked the casting email there and it said the expected shooting date for the ad was to be April 2018. Auditions were in the same month so it was a quick turnaround.

Unlike many of the guests, this guy actually ate the wings rather than nip at them and, as a result, had real reaction. 👍
Celebrity interviews are mostly trite and repetitious, so it's great when a show like this gets them out of their comfort zone.
