Brent, appreciate that you provide quality content with no fluff. The voice over is informative without wasted words, and the editing provides just the essentials.
Both intake and exhaust. You usually just see a clearance issue on the intake side, but I've ran both sides that close. I always check everything with the actual springs.
@@lykinsmotorsports So Brent, lashed up and ready to go(running spring) You’ve successfully ran 030” clearance on not only intake but exhaust as well? Measured with dial indicator?
Hi Brent, nothing to do with this video just a random question!...........I have a 306 sbf in a mid engined car which has not been started in about 3 years and I would like to prime the engine before trying to start it - because of the location of the engine I cannot remove the distributor to prime in the normal way. I have seen online that the engine can be primed using a pressure vessel (e.g. garden sprayer) to pump oil through the oil pressure take off in the block. Is there any reason this should not work and do you know the thread size of the hole in the block as I will need to get an adapter to rig this up? Thanks, Dave

That is a sexy engine I can’t wait to here it run on the dyno
Nice stuff! Thanks Brent!
Golly gee!! That's a nice engine build!! Pure artwork.
Like Cleveland motors got 1 read for my 70 mustang
Great looking combo
Love cleveland stuff!
That thing is going to sing!
Cant wait for this one...brent is this build similar to mine? Cheers, Hodge
very cool
So, I have some questions. The thin edges on the piston where the valve reliefs are. Will they create pre ignition issues? What bore size is that?
3:00 Just because I liked First, You Tube. Doesn't mean I'm a Bot 🥝✔️♥️
im building a 460stroker windsor using 4 bolt dart block.no block clearancing.required with 4.25 stroke
What was the valve clearance measurement, and what is a safe minimum amount. Greatly video Brent, have a blessed weekend
No closer then.080 to piston
I've ran .030" many times. I had zero on this one.
.030”?? Wow. Assuming intake only? How are you checking? Soft or real springs ?

just a question was it the pan or block or both that didnt fit?
Is that a dart block or a factory block???
Where do you get the timing cover alignment from?

Who's crank are you using or did I miss it?
I’m assuming this build is for pure drag racing, but what class, and what car will it be in?
How much horsepower are you thinking it will make?
What is the H.P. goal?
What's the bore & stroke on this thing?
4.170x4.250
