Finally got my armed shark rep in the mail and GOD DANNNNG! This thing is nice. Tolerances are incredible. Kudos to them cause the rep is hard to tune. Blade and g10 scales feel really good too. Loving it so far. No tap and really bouncy. A little handle bias but it flips so smooth tbh. It reminds me of my old rep from years ago. Glad to have a rep back in my collection
the great thing about the rep platform is that there are so many aftermarket parts for it and imo the hourglass tanto blade is the best trainer blade for the rep so it makes sense why they chose them to clone. although i also do not agree with cloning hourglass, they recently changed their design and the new stuff looks even better
Would it be a good idea to get the cf ti rep with cf channel spacers for 170 cad combined or should i just spend 78 cad to just get the alu channel rep?
So, can I put a baliplus tanto blade on this armed shark handles ? My baliplus rep do not feel solid like the real one I don't know how to explain that but it feel like you can warped it even if I did perfect tuning and hardware come from the real one... Feel flexible Do you feel someting like that with your baliplus rep when you flipped it ?

What if I got an AS rep wanting to build my on rep using that as a step 0, where should I look for a live blade to use? Or is bettere to go with the Baliplus one? I have no other person knowleable enough to help me figure this out other that you online
If you want to buy a clone as a base to modify, I would 100% suggest baliplus. Especially if you want a live blade. It’ll cost you less and there will be less problems with modifying since everything already fits.
can you try switching the hardware from the armed shark and baliplus reps? im not sure the hardware on the armed shark can be changed with the true link ones and i hope you can help me with this.
@@CloneSupport but do the truelink hardware fit well as in does it perform better than the stock hardware? its a dealbreaker because good hardware is important especially for rep clones, i knoe the stock hardware is good but the truelink is better, also does the rep trainer slap?
@@lambsauceflips5304 oh yea the armed shark hardware is perfect. Never had any problems with it. If fact it’s better than the hardware in my squid industries knives. And no I haven’t had any problems with slap

got my baliplus 7075 kraken and the hardware is probably the main issue but for like 10$ you can just order squid hardware and replace them so it's not too big of an issue, the tolerances though on it are amazing
@@Inseverely i actually just bought squid hardware and the only issue i had with it is that you have to sand your bushings because it's floating washer but as far as i can tell they fit pretty good just a pain in the ass to get it through the bearing, i undersized my bushing because i don't have a micrometer so i'm just using it as a washer but it flips and sounds better just has a little tap now sanded down my bushing for my orca clone and it has no tap and pretty much 0 play without the handles biting
Its not too bad compared to other Titanium balisongs tbh, I think its a very good weight for flipping. It will seem heavy if you mainly flip light aluminium models
I just received one! It is obviously cheaper than the standard rep clone with titanium spacers, but I know the sandwich design is harder to keep good tolerances on and if you do any disassembly it might not go back to as good as it was from factory. I've been binge watching tons of balisong videos as a new flipper and I only own the Vulp, but the Alu rep clone feels infinitely more quality in the hand than the Vulp. It also flips very different and it actually chaplins! I don't know which one I will try next, probably the Kraken clone since everyone says that's basically the best flipper out there.
@jtm94 yeah the kraken would be good. I had a clone but now I have a real one. It's a good flipper imo. There's also the apocalypse 7075 aluminum cygnus clone, armed shark tsunami clone, apocalypse titanium cygnus, chab clone, orca clone. I have the orca clone personally and I like it but it is on the heavier side. I have a real nautilus as well. Flips good and I heard the Armed shark clone is about the same. Plenty to choose from for a different flavor
@@adarke710 I think that replicants in general (both clones and real ones) usually get tap very fast. It’s just a problem with the design being very thin. Nautilus has the same issue.

The Armed Shark kraken I’m selling this week sadly. I’ll probably be getting some more in the future but a lot of my money goes into business stuff atm
Ive ordered plenty from them and its all been ok but I do usually prefer AliExpress prices. Plus AliExpress has a very good returns policy if it gets lost/taken by customs
Hey man I know you’re not super active but I’m still hoping you see this, I’m a flipper from the uk also and I was just wondering if you’ve ever had issues with products not being delivered by armed shark as I’ve seen some things on Reddit about how the armed shark website (which I ordered from) is a scam site and not actually the owned by the real armed shark. Basically I’m just kinda wondering if you ordered from the site or Ali express and if you’ve got any experience with this kind of thing. Thanks in advance
This is 3 months ago but yes he got it from aliexpress the link is in the description lol and im not sure if the arm shark web is a scam but its always safer to buy from vendors such as aliexpress. Hope u got ur bali👍
@@abdelrahmanahmed7165 the replicant is made out of titanium with G10 scales. This means it’s a little more durable. However it’s also a sandwich construction so may get tap after lots of drops. The replicant platform can be modified to add aftermarket parts and that may be something you are interested later. It flips very well The kraken is made of aluminium so less durable. It’s channel so has a lot better tolerances out of the box. Flipping wise it’s handle bias so may be easier for a beginner.

Armed shark pivots are slightly big to go into the b+, but I can confirm that truelink hardware will fit into the Armed Shark

Age old question: how does it compare to the kraken? And uuhh I think tactyk tuned it once. Also I will probably buy a spacer for it
Totally different knife to the kraken so hard to compare. If you want a flipper then this might be better since it’s got good grip and a nice balance.
I recived mine and it has no tap and the play is non existant (since 0 means a tiny bit)
