Two years later: Armed Shark and Baliplus Rep clones are coming out of box now with hella tune, scales are closer thickness. Everything is super close. I've got five Reps now. One real, four clones. One of the clones is my favorite to flip. Like you said in the video, just liners and the blade on my favorite are clone parts still (B+ liners, AS HG blade). The Rep platform is just awesome for customizability. It's easy to make something that feels like it's unique and yours.

If you wanted to upgrade a Balilplus Rep trainer to the best it could be, is it necessary to upgrade to an OSP or Hourglass trainer blade? Or is the Baliplus trainer blade fine?
Actually if you replace the sentence with legit 416 stainless ones the sound completely changes also when you stick 3/16 pivots into a b+ bushing which is actually .190 you have two thousands of play that can't be tuned out of it what you want to do is ream the holes for the 250 bushing, takes about 15 minutes of per hole with some 600 grit

Also all grade 5. tc4 is grade 5. 6al4v. That's the composition of grade 5. "TC" is a different way to classify it The liners are actually the one thing in a clone that are identical in current b+ clones. Zens holes and spacer sex bolts in clone used to be 3mm, now they are .12350 and fit all the legit "⅛" hardware. Good way to compare titanium in the case of liners being same weight and shake and surface area is an electrical resistance test. Both brs and clone b+ Meyer identical. In fact the clone liners are a lil better IMHO

i recently did something with my chimera; i bought hardware packs trying to fix up my chab clone & realized the chimera can fit the same size washers. Tl;dr my chimera was problematic too but flips because i tried the chab washers.

So the b+ rep clone is pretty much only a thing for the US community since finding rep hardware in other world regions would be extremely hard. Kinda sucks

In my country I was only able to find some sketchy shop selling pivots and washers that maaaaaybe would fit the b+ rep after heavy modding/sanding (pivots are too long and washers way too wide). Not to mention bushings, these I couldn't find anywhere.
