    I am making this for my first Great-Grandchild, a boy. His Daddy is my first Grandchild, which was different for me, the mother of 3 girls. He's due in May, so I'm doubling it for next winter. I can't wait!!

    My granddaughter’s favorite blanket is one I made using a blanket stitch. I think this one of yours will make one she will like even more. I used coboo ( idk if I spelled that correctly) for her blanket stitch one and it has a nice weight but I do like the bernat you are using too. Thanks for the inspiration and lovely patterns ❤

    If you were to change colors for the border, how and when would you do that? Would you still do a single crochet all around the blanket with the original color or change right after the last row of the main blanket? I ran out of yarn, so hopefully, the single crochet all around would look good with the new color, or I'll have to frog a few rows to get more of the original yarn.
    Also, how would you physically switch the colors?

    Hello !! Love this pattern , I started this blanket for a friend’s baby. I made it to like row 18 and for some reason my blanket is still curling in on itself. Did yours do that? Any tips on how to get it to stop doing that

  • @Jamfan8083

    Hi Tiffany, I really liked working on this blanket. I am making it for my Nephew for Christmas. I am almost ready for the border part.
    In this video I was a bit confused by the explanation of the corner ribbing for the border as you were working on that first corner you said [around 21.05 in the video] for the next one when we are doing that corner spot we won’t slip st at all. I was unsure if you were talking about the next stitch or the second corner area. You did not show how you did the remaining corners of the blanket. I printed out the free pattern and it doesn’t say about not doing slip st for a corner. I hope I don’t sound stupid I just want to know exactly how to do it. I hope you might be able to see this to help or I could try to ask on the Facebook group. Thank you

  • @MeganPatterson-gh1pf
    @MeganPatterson-gh1pf 10 месяцев назад

    So I started my blanket with 100 ch. By the next row I should only have 99 stitches? Do I crochet into the chain stitch at the end of the row? I had really straight rows until around row 8 and both ends started slanting. This is the second time I've started this blanket, what am I doing wrong? 😓

    Okay so do we only do the 2 single crochet…once at the beginning? Or do we repeat the pattern from the first row until the 2 single crochet rows??? Just a little confused on where we put the 2 single crochet. Is it only at the beginning or does it repeat? Wish you marked where you put the two singles on each spot that had them…

    • @Mbd-sp9dm
      @Mbd-sp9dm Год назад

      Also, how many rows do you work up? That wasn’t really specified either. I guess until the length in inches matches the height in inches? I’m doing the 110 chain and following the tutorial but I’m not sure how much to build up.

    Are you able to re-state the pattern row by row another words I am not having the pop out and I have marked up and done 2single in one are the two single crochets only in with the treble it’s very confusing the way you said it and I have crocheted for years
    In other words, the single crochet, so just one single crochet in each stitch from the beginning to the end
