We have easy-mode champions with really basic concepts, I have no problem with the occasional opposite of that. It makes the game diverse and challenging.
I see it as an evolution of LoL. Most of the characters the average player is familiar with were created 3ish years ago and their single purpose moves were limited to the qwer keys. We're getting more complex play styles simply because the game is growing and expanding it's play while still being confined to QWER keys. It'll take some getting used to, but I have faith they'll pull off a fun play styles with the direction they're going in.
To all of those saying this guy is op, he is actually pretty balanced. The short cooldowns on his abilities are necessary since he is apparently a lot more squishy than most other melee champions. If his passive did not double his crit, he would do absolutely no damage since he wouldn't have room for many damage items. The wind barrier is probably one of the highest skill cap skills in the game currently. Saying that it will be learned within one week is absurd and ridiculous, since even the pros will take longer than that to learn it. All in all, he is pretty balanced and counter-able.
