Tryndamere has pretty much the same stuff, damage passive and manaless a heal + passive bonus AD situational slow and debuff mobility + damage and an ult that protects him from death.

yh but bards ult doesn't heal the enemy team at the end,plus you can pick them off or stop them running after you......with this ult you'll just heal them after they dive you :/ but its maybe better in game then how its shown in the spotlight who know till patch 5.20 i guess
+michael giraldo Imagine a Kindred + Gragas combo. Enemy team dives in the ult to get the heal at the end, only to get a Gragas ult in the face right after. Or even before, to ensure they get no heal. Just one example. There are others that could be even more effective. But yeah, from a conceptual standpoint, it's a hard pill to swallow. I think it would have been neat to see something where, in the protected zone, all critical (as in life threatening, not critical strikes) damage prevented to your team is used as backlash to the attacker. Maybe even to all enemies in the zone. Of course, that effect PLUS the heal would be a bit OP, so I would say drop the heal at the end.

Kindred is the best, though. I mean, not the best performance wise, but extremely fun to play and also the most interesting in terms of lore/visuals IMO.

+stemw33 Here's the thing though, they don't automatically drop to 10% HP when in kindred ult, so this is too siturational. Either the teamfight ends with everyone at 10% or you somehow manage to bring them to 10% before the Bard ult lands, either way though, if you somehow pull it off, the surrender button will be mashed.
had a game the other day where Hecarim (in my team) run to me 2 times and took my mark in front of me on purpose. Went trolling and feeding, he wasn't happy.
If I had to choose between finding marks to get or farming. Farming is better. Marks will happen no matter what. And you get the mark from assists too so.... It's more important to finish your kit because the stat you get from those out weights the one or two marks you possibly could get. Don't get me wrong. Stacks are still important, but they shouldn't hinder your farm. Biggest mistake most "kindred mains" make is prioritizing a mark and loosing camps to the enemy jungler. Falling further and further behind until they have almost no stacks and almost none of their kit finished, cause guess what?! They didn't farm. They just dicked around chasing marks and trying to set up ganks too early until they drove their champ into the ground early game and now have to spend the rest of the game playing catch up but by then it's usually too late and they're only good as a distraction or a well timed ult, essentially turning into another support.
They should do a cinematic about him It would be awesome. The guy who made Kindred also made Aurelion and Bård. Champions that always existed, all powerful entities of creation, life, death and magic, energy, everything.

I think i will try them on all lanes. Jungle and carry looks promising, but I think he/she will be nice at mid with good roaming potential and maybe even as support thanks to his/her game-changing ultimate. It looks quite balanced to me, good kiting potential, high skill cap and being squishy looks like good deal. In addition (as jungler) Kindred will rely on counterjungling which will be very dangerous due to her lack of hard cc... and Kindred will be very vulnerable to enemy counter-jungling. I cannot imagine how Kindred can win early 1 v 1 in jungle against guys like Xin Zhao, Lee Sin, Rek`Sai. She may have a chance against Master and Shaco but I am not sure until I see it on my own. My prediction is... Kindred will be a memepick. Just like Bard. Good players will make him/her works, but I think it may take quite high amout of time (just like Bard) for players to learn how at least not to troll with ultimate.
+Aurora Solaris the problem with lane kindred is that someone can get you out of your ult in early game, adc kindred is the one i see most heavily counterd in the lane since someone can play janna and just ult everyone in your team out of the kindred ult (same from your team if you have a janna though) and lee sin is a jungler who can gank and ult you out of the ult too
+Aurora Solaris You can also play them as a top lane marksmen, like Quinn. The stacks of their passive make a good deal against tanky champions. Just be sure you have one or two tanks already in your team :)
I think Quinn will be still better thanks to blind and Valor ultimate which is good both in chasing and escaping... and roaming... and tp-ing on bot lane... Kindred ultimate will not help finish enemy and probably will not help escaping gank.cuz enemies can tower dive and wait for its end. But Kindred`s passive will allow snowballing and that may be a big thing, especially when enemy is weaker than you and you get that 2-3 early kills. Then just start stacking SotO and passive. Who knows, maybe after Marksman Update there will be a Quinn vs Kindred top meta :D
Rengar counter the ult yess but the champion himself no defenitly not they say it too in the spotlight kindred is weak at the beginning so you DONT want to meet a Rengar or you are the one who meets death :)
I would so totally install back league and play kindred. That hero is just arousing, evokes this feeling of mysteriousness. Come on now, "have they forgotten us yet, little lamb?" "I'll still know us, though they try to forget... so we will remind them." Kindred was op on release. Then nerfed to the ground and forgotten for like 2-3 years. Got minor buffs and is in a decent place but definitely is weaker than meta jg champs. Sad cause Kindred is such a neat concept for a champ.

I love this champion so much, everything from the backstory to the model to the very atmosphere of it. One problem, however.... I go 0/10 with this champion every game. I don't know what I do wrong, but I SUCK at this champion. It might be because I main tanks, but this champion has a charm that I cannot resist; I might start maining ADCs so I can learn her, lol.

Do not play her as an adc.. You need map awarness to play, kiting camps and beeing effective try to get as gold as possible in your route. she's so freaking cool I agree

+JacksMagicBean Also, Janna with Kayle is really good for this ult combo as well. AoE arena of defying death for your team... then get Janna to ult in the center and Kayle to spare any stragglers on your team if necessary. Kat will be the clean up crew.
Pixel Heart Might be good with yasuo too if you can time the tornado and ult to begin as soon as the invicibility ends. Also it would eliminate yasuos squishyness factor since it would keep him alive despite cc from counters like annie, liss,etc. Even better, he could just use the time to charge his q making the ult ready for use as i stated above

I just love Kindred way to much. - They are fun to play. - Their lore is far more intresting compared to many other champions. - Lamb and Wolf have beautiful voices that fit them well. What more could you ask, except for the heal on W. But still...
Yet another silly champion where you try and get clever but just create something that doesn't really promote anything that seems nice or fun for actual competetive gameplay. Kinda like how you tried and get clever with Darius so a team like Fnatic lost despite being smarter and playing better for the bigger part of their most recent game. No I'm not a Fnatic fan. No I'm not a pro I'm just a diamond scrub who likes a nice game where people can have a good fight. The juggernaut meta and champions like this kinda ruin that fun for me.

Just thinking, but wouldn’t it be better if this champ worked like Nidalee? In a sense that you could switch between controlling a Wolf or a Lamb. I feel that it would better portray that they are two halves of a whole, because right now Wolf seems like a follower, a lot less important than the Lamb.
I'm honestly really excited for this champion. Mainly because with her ultimate she's gonna be such a hard counter to assassins. I'm also excited because it'll be neat to see how the professional scene adapts to an ADC jungler, whether they'll pick her up or if she'll just fade away. Either way I'm excited to play her and i honestly think that she's pretty balanced. At least in terms of her kit. I'm not sure what her numbers are so maybe her ratios or base damages are broken or something but aside from that she seems fine. She's not SUPER mobile unless she's inside her W and she has only 1 form of CC, and it's soft CC, so if the enemy laner has some mobility they'll be fine so long as your laner has some kind of engage, or CC or follow up.

So Kindred is the reason for the recent nerf to Sated Devourer. IE: Ranged champions can only proc SD once every 4 attacks. Ironically, this nerf didn't do anything to the champs people are most complaining about, Yi, Xin, ect.
Arcane Günther I think that's really why Vayne is considered so "powerful" right now. IE: Beyond Trists rocket jump, only Vayne has "self peel". Mostly in the form of her Ult + Tumble = invisible and her condemn. Now add in the fact she ruses BotRK and her % true dmg, and you have an ADC that simply outclasses all other ADCs. It also doesn't help that Riot's been slowly nerfing every other ADC over the past year. Making Vayne stand out so much more. As for Kalista, many people are pointing to the fact that she was designed by CertinlyT, and just like Thresh, Riot refuse to nerf any champion he designs, no matter how overloaded their kit is. This is evident even more, when you consider how badly he screwed up the Morde rework and how he wont admit his mistake, nor will Riot reverse it. IE: Morde's W gives him "solo lane exp" that allows him to naturally outlevel his opponents as well a free dragon pet for sieging.

Okay... So this champ has a... Passive that makes them do more damage the more they kill enemies with it. A Q that dashes forward and deals damage to 3 nearby enemies. A W that casts a very large AOE skill with a special creature in said AOE that attacks whatever you do. A point and click slow for an E that, if you attack 3 times while they're under the effects, it deals max health percentage. And an R that basically grants immortality to all who enter it. Enemy OR ally. HOLY SHIT THAT'S AWESOME. I like these unique and weird champions that require you to know how to play as and with them, in order to succeed. Like Zilean, with his weird ult, like Bard, with his weird... EVERYTHING. And Now, Kindred, with her weird... See 'Bard".

They were pretty broken on Top or any other lane with the continuous sustain from that heal from W. But they didn't need to nerf them THAT much :( At least give them some armor and AD back so they don't suck so much to play with.

But yeah, from a conceptual standpoint, it's a hard pill to swallow. I think it would have been neat to see something where, in the protected zone, all critical (as in life threatening, not critical strikes) damage prevented to your team is used as backlash to the attacker. Maybe even to all enemies in the zone. Of course, that effect PLUS the heal would be a bit OP, so I would say drop the heal at the end.

had a game the other day where Hecarim (in my team) run to me 2 times and took my mark in front of me on purpose. Went trolling and feeding, he wasn't happy.
If I had to choose between finding marks to get or farming. Farming is better. Marks will happen no matter what. And you get the mark from assists too so.... It's more important to finish your kit because the stat you get from those out weights the one or two marks you possibly could get. Don't get me wrong. Stacks are still important, but they shouldn't hinder your farm. Biggest mistake most "kindred mains" make is prioritizing a mark and loosing camps to the enemy jungler. Falling further and further behind until they have almost no stacks and almost none of their kit finished, cause guess what?! They didn't farm. They just dicked around chasing marks and trying to set up ganks too early until they drove their champ into the ground early game and now have to spend the rest of the game playing catch up but by then it's usually too late and they're only good as a distraction or a well timed ult, essentially turning into another support.

I think i will try them on all lanes. Jungle and carry looks promising, but I think he/she will be nice at mid with good roaming potential and maybe even as support thanks to his/her game-changing ultimate.
It looks quite balanced to me, good kiting potential, high skill cap and being squishy looks like good deal.
In addition (as jungler) Kindred will rely on counterjungling which will be very dangerous due to her lack of hard cc... and Kindred will be very vulnerable to enemy counter-jungling. I cannot imagine how Kindred can win early 1 v 1 in jungle against guys like Xin Zhao, Lee Sin, Rek`Sai. She may have a chance against Master and Shaco but I am not sure until I see it on my own.
My prediction is... Kindred will be a memepick. Just like Bard. Good players will make him/her works, but I think it may take quite high amout of time (just like Bard) for players to learn how at least not to troll with ultimate.

+Aurora Solaris the problem with lane kindred is that someone can get you out of your ult in early game, adc kindred is the one i see most heavily counterd in the lane since someone can play janna and just ult everyone in your team out of the kindred ult (same from your team if you have a janna though) and lee sin is a jungler who can gank and ult you out of the ult too

I think Quinn will be still better thanks to blind and Valor ultimate which is good both in chasing and escaping... and roaming... and tp-ing on bot lane... Kindred ultimate will not help finish enemy and probably will not help escaping gank.cuz enemies can tower dive and wait for its end. But Kindred`s passive will allow snowballing and that may be a big thing, especially when enemy is weaker than you and you get that 2-3 early kills. Then just start stacking SotO and passive. Who knows, maybe after Marksman Update there will be a Quinn vs Kindred top meta :D

Rengar counter the ult yess but the champion himself no defenitly not they say it too in the spotlight kindred is weak at the beginning so you DONT want to meet a Rengar or you are the one who meets death :)

- Their lore is far more intresting compared to many other champions.

Yet another silly champion where you try and get clever but just create something that doesn't really promote anything that seems nice or fun for actual competetive gameplay. Kinda like how you tried and get clever with Darius so a team like Fnatic lost despite being smarter and playing better for the bigger part of their most recent game. No I'm not a Fnatic fan. No I'm not a pro I'm just a diamond scrub who likes a nice game where people can have a good fight. The juggernaut meta and champions like this kinda ruin that fun for me.

Just thinking, but wouldn’t it be better if this champ worked like Nidalee? In a sense that you could switch between controlling a Wolf or a Lamb. I feel that it would better portray that they are two halves of a whole, because right now Wolf seems like a follower, a lot less important than the Lamb.

I'm also excited because it'll be neat to see how the professional scene adapts to an ADC jungler, whether they'll pick her up or if she'll just fade away. Either way I'm excited to play her and i honestly think that she's pretty balanced. At least in terms of her kit. I'm not sure what her numbers are so maybe her ratios or base damages are broken or something but aside from that she seems fine. She's not SUPER mobile unless she's inside her W and she has only 1 form of CC, and it's soft CC, so if the enemy laner has some mobility they'll be fine so long as your laner has some kind of engage, or CC or follow up.
+Youmu Konpaku she is really good in this meta because all the juggernauts that are tanky and do damage she is good at kitting.
and all that max health and % health damage you can not catch her before she kills you.
Also I think she comes out tomorrow because they put the spotlight on the website.

So Kindred is the reason for the recent nerf to Sated Devourer.
IE: Ranged champions can only proc SD once every 4 attacks.
Ironically, this nerf didn't do anything to the champs people are most complaining about, Yi, Xin, ect.

I think that's really why Vayne is considered so "powerful" right now. IE: Beyond Trists rocket jump, only Vayne has "self peel".
Mostly in the form of her Ult + Tumble = invisible and her condemn.
Now add in the fact she ruses BotRK and her % true dmg, and you have an ADC that simply outclasses all other ADCs.
It also doesn't help that Riot's been slowly nerfing every other ADC over the past year. Making Vayne stand out so much more.
As for Kalista, many people are pointing to the fact that she was designed by CertinlyT, and just like Thresh, Riot refuse to nerf any champion he designs, no matter how overloaded their kit is.
This is evident even more, when you consider how badly he screwed up the Morde rework and how he wont admit his mistake, nor will Riot reverse it.
IE: Morde's W gives him "solo lane exp" that allows him to naturally outlevel his opponents as well a free dragon pet for sieging.

This might be one of the best champion lore riot has done in a long time. I love it because it adds a new feeling of attachment to the characters. Hope to see more of this in the future

Okay... So this champ has a...
Passive that makes them do more damage the more they kill enemies with it.
A Q that dashes forward and deals damage to 3 nearby enemies.
A W that casts a very large AOE skill with a special creature in said AOE that attacks whatever you do.
A point and click slow for an E that, if you attack 3 times while they're under the effects, it deals max health percentage.
And an R that basically grants immortality to all who enter it. Enemy OR ally.
HOLY SHIT THAT'S AWESOME. I like these unique and weird champions that require you to know how to play as and with them, in order to succeed. Like Zilean, with his weird ult, like Bard, with his weird... EVERYTHING. And Now, Kindred, with her weird... See 'Bard".

They were pretty broken on Top or any other lane with the continuous sustain from that heal from W. But they didn't need to nerf them THAT much :( At least give them some armor and AD back so they don't suck so much to play with.
