About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

Ed O'Neill doesn't really get the credit he deserved for making this show such a success. Why he never got an Emmy for this role is beyond me.
Stiff competitions at that time
His name alone stands out
Probably because easily offended SJW snowflakes existed at that time already...
...wasn't an act?
Probably because it was on Fox, which was very much looked down on by the establishment at the time
"After midnight, we're gonna sell a lotta shoooes..."
"Hello miss, you wanna buy a lotta shoes???"
"Shoes!?!"
Al rocks, even when he's having a rough time 😆
The scarecrow at the end is priceless!!!
Yes it was.
@@freddiemontanez8461 Wife comes a near, soon comes a tear.
Old McBundy had a farm B-U-N-D-Y
The genius of Michael Moye and Ron Levitt. All, doubled by great directors and fantastic actors!! There will never be another Married with children. This is absolute art!
In my oppinion, this is the greatest sitcom ever...

_"We're gonna sell a lotta shoooooes!"_
I say this if I'm up past midnight. Drives my wife crazy. 😏
Its no fun without the "After Midnight...." part! ;)
I loved when Al started singing Vegetable Garden and Corn.
It's the same song.
, The way he ends it with "corn" is masterful comedy. I laugh every time I hear it.
Bonanza song
From 0:55 - 1:35 has got to be among the most hilarious, and underrated bits of comedic television in history. Pure Gold.
"Today is wednesday!" - LOL
“A vegetable garden? I thought you started one of those when you had Kelly.”
Savage 😆
"Peg the next thing I knew, I was insane" I didnt think this show would age well, but I was dead wrong. Thank you for these clips.

That wasa very funny wordimage. The writers were talented and commited.

MWC didn't get the respect and credit thet a show like this deserve..well i think this was the best sitcom in the 90's
Funnier from Seinfeld and friends..
I think MWC was the lead in for Seinfeld at first? There was I. Living Color, then MWC, Then Seinfeld? I can't remember, I am old, I watched these shows first run.
@@JNMKlover Maybe if you were watching in another country, but in the U.S. this (MWC) was first run on FOX, and NBC was Seinfeld.
MWC is far better than any sitcom
“Were home now honey…remember, two kids a dog
a room upstairs where you disappoint your wife??”
😂😂
'overflowing glacier of a woman.' LMAO
Was this the funniest episode of them all? When Bud asked if Al checked for a gas line then Al snatches Peg's hardhat. Comedy gold.
This was one of the best, next to the aliens. And this one was written by the show's creators.
This one is my number 1 favorite followed by the aliens one and the one where Buck the dog died.
I always loved that joke when Al said, "Well, the doctor found two interesting things." And Peg says, "Well, that's two more than I've ever found, I wonder where he was looking!" I'm not Al, yet I can feel that insult burning into my flesh.

This is the version i sing to my kids and my wife oddly doesn't approve
Peggy's hair grows bigger every season
Shooz, you want lots of Shooz!.
Vegetable garden? You started one of them when you had Kelly
Someone should put this on Broadway.
Yes. Can you just imagine,
Married..on Broadway?!
Dumdididum dumdididumdum COORN!!!
Peggy scarecrow lmao
One of the funniest episodes. This and the Supermarket.
I liked those, but the best ones in my opinion were the labourday bbq one and the Al as a PI dream with the luscious Tracy Lords
Yummm

Did I just say that out loud?
You would run to if you had a price on your head, and a bad burrito in your stomach.
Al Bundy was singing: “Beans, Greens, Potatoes, Tomatoes…” LOL 4:08!
He saw underwear. It said Saturday when the day of the week was WEDNESDAY!!!
One of my all time favorite episodes from the show! Al grows a garden & has to deal with a rabbit with the smarts of Bugs Bunny to his Elmer Fudd!
& no Al, you can't grow ham, bread, butter, & pizza with extra cheese out of a garden!
What's up, Doc?

Ed in his prime
Al: "Hm ... well, ... still got the shrimp."
Don't forget about the little shrimps that Al likes! 😁
@@ArttuTheCat At the end, when we see him in a iris out, they should've played the Looney Tunes theme over the credits they would show during applause.
This show nailed how men’s problems aren’t taken seriously
Yup. It’s gotten worse for men in recent years.
Too bad they still aren't

I'd be out of my "mined" if I had a daughter for a vegetable! Wait a minute, I do have two daughters and a son that are vegetables, just like their mother..............
You have to wonder how long it took to shoot an entire episode without cast members laughing so hard?
Well, they did rehearse throughout the week, so that helped them not laugh.
Al he almost laughing
I remember this episode. It's where an elderly woman offers Bud a penny to oil him up.
A nickel, actually.
Nah, different ep. That was the episode where Bud needs money for a date and Kelly needs money for a concert. This is the battle with the rabbit.
This show was hilarious for the first five or six seasons.
EXACTLY 😮
Glad to be red pilled.
Al's face wen' he say
Shoes..you wanna buy some shoes?..lol
Pegs hair was huge in this one!
well, it was the 80s. But her style was 60s.
I would always be annoyed at how much of a hypocrite Peg can be. She criticizes Al for having no ambition when all she does is gorge down junk food and binge watch Junk TV.
In her world men are supposed to be ambitious, work and earn money. Woman's only resposibility is to find a man to sponge off
Yeah, Peg gets on my nerves too. In the real world, Al would've pulled a Simpson on her.
Peg was a pretty terrible wife. But there's a lesson to be learned. If you decide to settle down with a woman, which is not recommended. Be sure to choose your partner wisely. You might end up with a Peg for a wife and your life will be flushed down the drain.
@@prazertv Textbook narcisist. Both her and Bud
She's the epitome of 90s women and what modern women today have become. Sad, really. They could've been so much more.

Kelly and Buds one liners in teasing each other were hilarious. Kelly " Take a look at your future rat boy " 😂😂😂😂

'An overflowing glacier of a woman'.. I love Al's contempt for protocol. And fat women.

😒 Dear God, this reminds me when I lived with my parents.
And pizza with extra cheese 😆
“Anyway, the next thing I knew, I was insane.”
This is all people doing retail! Lol! The nervous break down is real ! Yep!
Hey, if they could take the people out of retail I might not be at this moment lying on my back in a vegetable garden surrounded by taters and peas and pizza. I used to be a people person (really), but people ruined it for me (really). 😝
Oh man! This episode cracked me up laughing 😹!!
Al Bundy: "Be vewy, vewy quiet. I'm hunting wabbit."
Al Bundy became the next Elmer Fudd. 😹😸😺👍
why is bud shirtless with kelly home alone, until parents arrived... lol
If you'll notice, when he and Kelly are sitting together they are usually pretty c-l-o-s-e. I've wondered if there was another storyline that was too messed up even for Married with Children.

God, this episode was funny.
It might be the wife....lol
Gold pure gold....how times have changed, people would have panic attacks and get this show cancelled if it was made nowadays.... nothing quite like wokeness....
The moral guardians of the late 1980s and 1990s tried to get rid of this show too. The only difference is most people didn't take them seriously back then.
Peggy sure had some awesome clothes! And the figure to go with it!
Yes she was and still is a very beautiful woman.
Brilliance, simply a brilliant show.
4:50 🤣 i was dying!
MWC IS AND ALWAYS WILL 😊😁
All it takes is one bad day.
I loved this show, rerun after rerun. Too many Karen's these days for a show like this to survive.
It’s sad & funny nobody cares if men struggle just “man up”
SSSHHHHhhh... Are you nuts? you can't just say something like that.
If you bring up men's issues you will be labeled an oppressive woman hating racist. Women live on their "victim" card and to suggest men might have some struggles could undermine their entire identity.
Now man up and deal with it!
Life is a never ending chain of struggle, pain, and compromise. Joy and fun are for children. A man's place in life is doing things you dont want to do. And acting like you dont want to jump in front of a bus.
@@burpostockings that was beautiful and sadly true.

This is one of the best episodes, especially with its references to Looney Tunes. And speaking of which, to whose cartoons is this episode most reminiscent of? Bob Clampett, Tex Avery, Friz Freleng, or Chuck Jones?
