    That deepest affection and emotional pull.
    For Chef John, Hakuba has long been close to his heart as that home away from home.
    Dropping roots in 1995 for snow season after season and becoming a pivotal part of the food scene.
    Coming back to Hakuba Valley, John was high with anticipation for what lay ahead.

      @@SNOWCHEF thanks. I'm planning on going to hakuba and staying at the hotel with the German food in early March. Looking forward to it

      @@masterreidy You'll love Marillen Hotel. Great location at the base of the Nakiyama slopes. Bernd's Keller restaurant has delicious European cuisine. Good luck getting back out for a ski or snowboard after a long lunch. Ha ha!
