I love Jack White. I've said it once before but it bears repeating.
Your intro was awesome, it was fun hearing a fuller seven nation army. The white stripes' philosophy was simplicity after all.
That intro jam was a cool and creative take on the original track. Well done! 👌
It feels like this legitimises Donner. I mean, I own 2 of their pedals, but only because they were cheap. This pedal and the Third Man endorsement makes Donner a real player!
I would love to hear it with their Fuzz Seeker
I own a couple Donner pedals and wireless systems and they have all performed well over a six year period. This will help them get recognized for sure.
I was on the Amazing Race where a few hundred of us played 7 nation for about 8 hrs for the episode. That was a fun day. Loved your take on it for the intro. Well done as always 🤘🏼
That song was Ball and Biscuit minus the Smokestack Lighting-ness of it all
One of my favorites.
Jack is so freaking cool. I love it when a huge musician likeJack help develop a new “signature” anything that really encompasses their sound and is priced at a very affordable value. He could have done the same thing thru another manufacturer and slapped a $500 price tag on it. Thanks Jack! You’re the real deal.
Oh man, ive been so hyped for this! Definitely worth the wait, I've already placed my order😅
icky thump and White orchid are pefect examples of Jack's signature sound, the pedal might be new but that sound is iconic
*BLUE ORCHID*
Awesome Composition!
It’s a pretty dialed in little trio there. I dig. Nice demo man! ✊🏽
already ordered!
Awesome intro! Great playing!
Thanks so much for sharing, this pedal represents excellent value for money and is the kind of pedal that could be taken to gigs without the threat of not being able to replace it if it gets the 5 finger discount before or after a gig. Nice playing and great overview of the tones and colour you can get out of this pedal. The Samurai guitarist has also given this one a solid thumbs up and gosh golly darn it, I think I might have yo go one simply because it stops cable links in the signal chain I would have with 3 seperate pedals. Who knows, this could become guitar pedal of the year.
nice effects man.. so cool.
I love that guitar. The cutaways make it look ... dynamic.
Edit: the pedal's alright too.
I jumped on this vid when I saw the guitar.! Believe it or not, it's a Hohner! I bought mine exactly because of the cutaways. The model I bought had 27 frets, HS configuration, a 4+2 headstock and a fancy passive 2-band tone circuit. Never thought I'd see one randomly turn up on a gear demo video!
@@andrewmsmith1969 Is it not a Revelation? (Headstock says it is) I don't think they are anything to do with Hohner, but could be wrong. I've had a few Revelations and they are amazing value.
@@BinaryDad Yes, mine was a Hohner Revelation RTX but I think the SSS pickups make this one an RTS.
I like that the distortion gives off such Big Muff tones the more gain or tone you add, like that’s awesome and that Seven Nation Army-inspired riff at the beginning sounded equally as badass. Definitely considering taking that for myself, that was sick
33 bucks per effect is not a bad price at all. Seems like you can do a whole lot with just this one pedal. I dig it.
THIS IS $99 bucks ONLY????!!!!!!
@@foljs5858 just $99!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure going to buy it
@@foljs5858 Yup, plus $10 shipping on Reverb
@@foljs5858yes
@@foljs5858 it was available before the third man branding and it was like $42. enjoy that jack white tax
Love Donner pedals, I built an entire board with their stuff but selling it off because I just got a Helix LT. Jack White is also my favorite guitar player!
I have a Helix LT with an FRFR speaker and a pedalboard going into a tube amp. Keep your pedals if you can! It's great to have both worlds.
You should keep the board as a backup.
@cchavez248 I only practice for church and we use the helix patches exclusively. I play at home with headphones and at church through their board I really don't have a use for it.
@@Tool0GT92 kk, I just know that many players get rid of their pedalboards after getting Helix, are completely happy for a few years, and then regret getting rid of the pedals. At least they're not expensive pedals that would be difficult and expensive to replace. 👍😎
Love it!
Thumbs up for the intro jam alone.
EPIC!!! Complicated isn't always better. On the contrary, this song, pedal, and rff are fairly simple but very cool!!!
jack white is a uniquely interesting guitarist - i might have to get one of these since it's multiple pedal effects id actually use with less cables going in and out
Amazing ❤❤❤❤
The intro solo is just so cool! Nice tone! If use the pedal on the bass, maybe it is another nice try!
outstanding
I HAVE to buy this before it sells out!
sold out and then it was back in stock this morning.
that gain sound is pretty niche tbh, i think this would be cool to have in the studio for if you wanted that exact sound
So I have the unit that they brought out previously which has delay chorus and distortion on it and it sounds meaty as hell. The big plus is its analogue so imo sounds way better than digital. It sounds amazing for the price tag!
Mate, I think that's your playing, not the pedal.
Mine is in the mail! 👍🎸👍
I've had a few Donner pedals in the past and they are a great bang for the buck for the guitarist on a budget
Interesting. If someone asked what effects I thought of as signature sounds of Jack White, first thing I would have thought are octave fuzz and octave down.
ive got the donner "eternal bind" looper/multi fx. it does everything that thing does except for distortion and it was 20$ brand new
Sounds like Muse doing a cover of the White Stripes
It sounds real good, but the tiny knobs are a no go. Feedback and time controls on the Echo need to be bigger or available for Expression pedal.
Guitar content king 👑
I have a Mooer Black Truck and I gotta say this kinda reminds me of that minus a couple of things. Like a stripped down version of the Black Truck.
Donner, Party of 3!
tyler just the best yt guitarist now lmao🔥🔥🔥
You’re playing a Fuchs Full House 50! I own one have you reviewed it? I love mine into Two Note Captor X (for living room). I’d be anxious to watch, thanks!
I used the silver donner alpha chain reverb delay and modulation for 6 years of outdoor gigs near the ocean and it just recently stopped working. Unfortunately they don't make that one anymore.
Nice job.
Ordered.
5:20 Ball and a Biscuit is the song
Knobs which have very great large frequency effects for tone even so small they are😂❤. Like it👍.
ONLY thing i wish it had were expression jacks for the echo and phaser rates, but i understand it would potentially add a cost, and if Jack didn't want it, that's why it ain't there!
That white stripes song is ball and a biscuit on elephant 🙏
BALL AND BISCUIT! F*ck im a a jack white fan and now donner give us the opportunitty to have a JW taste for a low price. Also its really cheap to order for here in mexico. Thanks man for giving me the news!
Check out Cuvave Cube Baby too.

i want that guitar so badly
Is that an original 90’s Hohner Revelation or a remake by the brand Revelation?
The echo is definitely the standout effect in here. It may just be that I’ve been spoiled at this point but the distortion and phaser are both ok but not what I would call “good.” But I would also pay the price of the whole unit for that echo standalone, so it’s very hard to complain. Beginner guitarists don’t know how lucky they are to have these options.
Although I do kinda wish the phaser chain placement could be switched between where it’s currently at or in front.
Typically for me personally? I tend to prefer a phaser up front before any gain/distortion. Regardless tho? This is a great product idea IMO. Man, kids these days have it made! Back in my day? I had to make due with a Crate combo and a Zoom 505. Ha!
Always wanted a phaser and an echo wit a foot pedal like a wah. I th I nk it would be great for soloing. Closest I've found in a zoom multi effects pedal
I like it but I wish each each effect had its own separate input/output similar to the devils triad pedal. Just bc if you want to run other effects to your amp as well you’d be able to better choose placement
Esp with the delay
"Need a cleanup on the pedal isle, there's a puddle of melted faces.."
Donner finally makin decent gear? AWESOME
What's the tune that closes out the video?
Who needs a pedal board when you have this
Just wondering if you ever play any of the old 50s or 60s style rock, it would sound good on that, like some of the hits of that era, It would give that music a new sound.
The song is ball and a biscuit my man!!
Any good multi-effect will provide same/similar results.
Oh, the donner pedal? Dude, my friend got that one, it's like bringing Dimebag and Cliff to the same show, a lot of noise and saturation, really love it. They also have the other double pitch shifter which sounds like an alien. It's like a high guitar and a bass is following your melody, and straight manipulate the frequency, distort, fuzz, you name it. Actually these are the kind of products that make me question why i want modelers. Then again resources are limited.
Why is it still such a chore to get a realistic, tight tube overdrive sound, that is undetectably authentic? I still remember the first tubescreamer I tried in the early 80s, and comparing that to a cascaded tube mod to a JCM800. To this day, I still have yet to find a natural sounding extra tube stage in a pedal format?
Looks like a cube baby
What a cool guitar, what is that creature?
Reminds me of the tech 21 Fly Rig
Distortion, Phase and Echo is kind of similar to a Jimmy Page rig and feels close to his tone. I’d love to see them do more setups like this with other guitarists
how many of the yellow ones were made ?
What is that old beater guitar that just gets the job done? It's pretty rad and I want to know what it is.
That is a Hohner Revelation from the early 90s. They first came out with a 27 fret neck an 4+2 tuner headstock that they were sued by Music Man and had to use 6 in line soon after. The one in the video is a 3 single coil RTS model, and there was a RTX version with a humbucker and a sc. Both with floating Wilkinson trem and a roller nut
@@joda4063 cool! Thank you!
Playing around with the delay sounds incredibly close to something Tom Sholtz would do.
Ball and Biscuit, I believe
Great value for a multi effects. The gain had a lot of background noise when increased, but that's quite common. Phaser takes distortion well. I imagine you could make any pedal sound good. At least you did'nt get ANOTHER guitar! 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Real question, whats the beater guitar?

nice to see somebdy using a revelation.
Love your sound descriptions. LOL. Gotta' like analog.
That unnamed song was kinda Ball and Biscuit-ish
That distortion sounds like a blown speaker playing on ten from the neighbour's house. There's a few garbage sounding distortions out there. Raw Peavey amps, for example... lol . Or "heavy metal pedal" that people seem to like. But, you're right about one thing...nothing beats good distortion through digital delay. A touch of chorus.. a hint of reverb... and "mooowah". Angelic. hahaha !!
Wow, he invented something that was invented decades ago. A fly rig. I have a Richie Kotzen Tech 21 fly rig in my bag as a backup on gigs. I use a Line 6 HX Stomp for gigs. Lots more options with 3 stomp buttons. 2 sounds assigned to each button.
What’s your point? You sound bitter, why?
@@bluwng you read me wrong. More sarcastic than anything. Feels like a money grab. Nothing new in this pedal except the brand.
@@JerryTheVeganRockstar it’s a 3 in one and cheap how much profit is there to be made. It might be he wanted to give people his tone in one box.
The Jimi pop up lmao!!!
Pass for me!
I do like that the “distortion” turns into completely blown out fuzz
Jack white collabing with some oem Chinese company and just sticking his brand on their pedal wasn't on my bingo card but Godbless brother
Ball and a Biscuit at 5:45ish
I wouldn't use two of the three, nice demo and pedal though 😊
Very cool. It's on the list now. Did they ever catch that gorilla that escaped from the zoo and punched you in da eye? (seriously though, did they catch the bottle thrower?)
Make & model of the guitar in this video?🤔

PLEASE MAKE A TAB FOR THE INTRO I PRAY
I think i want this just because that distortion sounds really bizarre. Like an overdrive at low and a sagging fuzz at max. So strange
“I’m leaning on my whammy bar.” 😂😂😂
Makes Seven Nation Army remind me of California Dreaming.
Wait-what?!…
Holy shozbot!
That’s a fantastic deal!
Sounds freaking awesome!
The Whammy Lean - new guitar move.
Hell, for $99 I bought one, why the hell not!!!
Wait Donner + Jack White ?!
Pretty sure this already existed before and he put his name on it but I miss your jack white fan. Think it’s awesome. He’s bringing light to more inexpensive brands of guitar pedals people are so caught up on brands and boutique It’s in the player most the time. Donner and these companies make some great clones
Bone n brisket.
Sounds more like a fuzz. The phaser was an odd choice.
"I'm leaning on my whammy bar" Lol
The song was Ball and a Biscuit
