    • @GazerOfShoe
      @GazerOfShoe 2 месяца назад +13

@@MeAndTheBoys_No, you don't get it. Jack was too busy setting up for the show. He only had time to pop in for that one (totally not contrived) moment.
It takes Jack hours upon hours to dial in the perfect settings on his Tesla Coil. After that, he had to re-vulcanize the landing gear of his autogyro.
Far too busy to exchange pleasantries with Bolinger, you see.
(In reality, he obviously thinks the Rig Rundown is lame & dorky. Because it's not often that Jack White passes up an opportunity to talk about himself.)
He couldn't be bothered to do the interview. But he made sure to watch everything from the rafters like the Phantom of the Opera.
It was totally organic, bro. Nothing weird about it.

That movie might've been decent if they had gotten Jake from Greta Van Fleet (aka Real Rock & Roll) instead of some random, dusty Boomer from the 1870s. That geriatric British guy stole GVF's whole sound & vibe & everything.
Not cool, man. Party foul, bro.

That movie could've been decent if they had gotten a true Rock and Roller like Jake from Greta Van Fleet instead of some random, old British man to relive the Glory Days. Booooooring. Nobody cares, granddad. Time for the retirement home.
Sheesh. That old man was such a poser and he ripped off Greta Van Fleet's whole sound & aesthetic & everything.
Not cool, man. Major party foul, bro.
Jake & the rest of the Van Fleet Crü should sue the bellbottom pants off that disrespectful old coot. Teach the English a little something about good old American copyright law.
GvF are far more than a mere "band". More like, a Band of Brothers. Laying siege to the stage night after night. Laying down some hardest tunes this side of Valhalla. And laying some serious pipe after the show, I might add.
They are a true artistic collective. A way of being. A lifestyle, if you will.

Everything he’s done has been awesome from The White Stripes to The Raconteurs to The Dead Weather and his solo career and his new gear is so damn cool as well, all his new Fender gear is so nice. Jack really scoops mids on all his amps. I love the Microamp always on line driver sound. I do it on so many Fender amps as an always on. Helps if you don’t have a treble bleed, long cable and swapping pedals in and out! So nice to just have it built in, and set low to transparently drive your board.
But with that treble and bass up so much and mid cut, it’s a nice canvas to play with for sure.
My only question is 22w/40w, and the reverb on the 22w. The amp is sure to break up relatively soon on the 10in with reverb, while keeping the 15in clean. Seems like an amp you’d wanna mic up, to to get an equal sound on stage. Otherwise lower volumes I’m guessing with no mic? My 22w can’t keep up with a drummer, but any of my 6L6 40w for sure can. I couldn’t see pushing it past 4 on the volume, unless you want the 10in to break up. You’d need the PA to do the rest of the work.
You’d just mic the 10in/15in, and adjust the two with the PA for maximum headroom. Otherwise in a bedroom, you’re playing a 22w amp at 1-2, with a nice 15in big sound under it. At that point I’d need mics on stage or 2-3 of these 😝
I’ve been eyeing this amp to replace my Ampeg VT40, to go with my Sky King amp for wet/dry. I bet they would sound great together! But for me, the Telegraph momentary switch on the effects and reverb is wild.
    Awesome rundown!

Poor John had the bad luck of being the one that was playing it when that bar snapped. He definitely wasn’t abusing it.
