If you have a noisy toilet and aren't wanting to change rooms, there's generally a valve on the water line you can turn to stop the water. If it's continuously running, the flapper valve at the bottom of the toilet is probably not closing. The connection from the flush handle to the flapper valve sometimes gets kinked. Someday, you may want a house, and there won't be a maintenance person to fix the problem. The water on the top of the toilet is clean, so no worries about putting your hands in there. The flapper valve might leave black streaks on your hand from aging rubber, but it washes off easily. Motel toilets give you a chance to practice your toilet repair skills before you have real skin in the game when it's your toilet to fix.
OMG, we love Savannah! It's one of the best cities ever, and I also was surprised as we drove through there going to Disney World in August. This was an awesome vlog and thanks for including Luna! I love Luna! But, please never feel bad about hotel issues and contacting staff. I worked in a Hotel for 15 years and we are there to make your stay amazing! Glad you loved Savannah, such a beautiful time of year to visit also. Next time, you should definitely do a ghost tour of the city! I know you didn't get a chance to explore much on your Greenville layover but the downtown area there is pretty neat and has lots of 5 star restaurants. If you ever get a chance to check it out, I'd definitely recommend it!

Hi Julia, since a year I see your videos. they are very interesting and you show cities that you can not visit yourself. Good that you always have so much hunger 🤣🤣🤣 because you get to know some specialties (food) of America. I live in the north of Germany and have worked 40 years at the International Airport HAM and have many friends who work at DELTA, Lufthansa, British Airways, KLM, Air France and other airlines.
I have been to the USA over 40 times since 1974 visiting relatives and friends.
I love to vacation in the USA. Mostly in Northern Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.

Back in the early to mid 80's was a Paddle Wheel Boat out of Galveston, TX called "The Colonel" lot's of found memories on that boat.

Welcome to the Georgia Coast! We’re about 90 minutes south of Savannah, and you are right! It is like no other city, and its eclectic charm is absolutely unique. Some fun areas to check out is Chippewa Square, hit up the Nine Line store by the JW on the riverfront (great organization), check out Broughton Street, as well as Moon River Brewery (you’ll love the basement!). If you love these little unique cities - you’ll definitely want to check out Wilmington NC as well. Smaller, but same little feel. Glad you came for the visit! This would definitely need to be a Julia+Eric trip - food for thought.

Hello Julia, this is a perfect vlog of why you ended up with 100K+ subscribers. I can't say for everyone, but for myself, I like how you showed the Christmas decorations at the airport and on your layover, showing how all of us has had a few mishaps on a layover, showing the beautiful park in SAV, what you ate on the aircraft and where you got it from just in case I fly to a city that has a Tokyo Joe's. The udon looks delicious. What you had for your breakfast/brunch looked amazing. It's refreshing to see a girl that eats real food, French toast, eggs, bacon not just salads. Thank you for sharing so many things that I would love to experience. Wishing you, Eric and Luna a very Happy Thanksgiving. I really like the way that hanging moss looks on some of the trees in the park you went to. Reminds me of movies that are set in the south that have those sorts of trees. And I have some hardware in my ankle from a biking accident that I also need to keep an eye on, so hope your foot bounces back soon !

Maintenance guy figures that you just blew up the toilet. I hate when I forget that one item ! I have a list that I look at when I pack so I remember all of the little things that I want to bring. It’s usually the sunglasses, belt, or something like that.

I love Savannah!Three years ago I went.The River cruise is awesome.If you go back definitely try to go on that it’s only a couple of hours long and you can get the dinner option.We had the best meal and entertainment on that short cruise.Thank you for the memorable video .

I know where you are! I stayed in that same hotel this summer with my 10 year old (we did a staycation) and did all the fun things downtown. Oak and Honey have really good cocktails 😊 You need to come back to Greenville so you can enjoy the downtown and places nearby!

I was in Savannah for the first time a few years ago and loved it! We were driving my parent's car back to Canada so we only had an evening there but I want to go again and spend more time and yes! Go on a ghost tour and explore the old town and the port! :)

Medora, North Dakota is a unique very small town population of 100. It is one of my “must go to” in the summer. Weather permitting there is a musical in an outdoor… amphitheater with an unbelievable gorgeous view. I highly suggest you come and check it out. The Theodore Roosevelt National Park entrance is there too.
